Kiosks were getting crowded by thousands of people. These small, obelisk-like objects spread around New Sparta were gathering a crowd of rowdy and excited customers just waiting to buy their own piece of chocolate ice cream and fried chicken.
After all, it had now spread far and wide how even normal people could exert tremendous strength once consuming these products.
It literally saved the lives of thousands of people. Soldiers and the brave mortal men of New Sparta wouldn’t have been able to survive for so long if it weren’t for the enhancing capabilities of the Chocolate Ice Cream.
And so, literally everyone in New Sparta was hungering to eat the Ice Cream.
Even the disbelievers were convinced. They witnessed it themselves!
And perhaps the most surprising part of this all was that even the Beastfolks were starting to buy it as well!
The Vampires, Werewolves, Mermen, and Elves had all sent their own squad of members to purchase some samples of the Ice Cream and the Fried Chicken.
They had fought against those Monsters. They knew just how strong they were. Almost impossible to defeat.
Yet, those unknown people from the Reborn company were able to defeat it with ease! “Did you see how her Highness Sheina hit her arrows with absolute accuracy?! As expected of the Prophesized Archer!”
The Elves worshipped Sheina. They believed that she was a being that was said to be the very embodiment of their Archery Ideals. After all, she brought the Darkwood and Mithril Compound Bows into the eyes of the Elves! They saw perfection in her, her shooting, and her bow.
“We shall be partaking in this wonderful sustenance called Ice Cream! The Iron Maiden wills it!” said some of the Vampires.
“We shall be partaking in this wonderful sustenance called Ice Cream! The Iron Maiden wills it!” said some of the Vampires.
They were ardent worshippers of the Iron Maiden. The Royalblood Vampires had finally shown them the truth, their missing religion.
“This is the only thing that brings me strength while the moon is away from our eyes,” said one of the Werewolves.
“This is even tastier than ocean water!” said one of the Elves.
Every single person, no matter the species, became customers of McTony’s restaurant. Orders were pouring in, overwhelming all of their staff, the chefs and the delivery riders included.
But they pulled through it. Even while their bodies were being overworked, they felt their vigor and energy remaining at the very highest point. It was all thanks to Michael’s Nascent Influence. He adapted them to the harsh working environment. Usually, this kind of change would be hard for him at his current state. But thanks to the Rebornians’ inherent trust in him, they were able to allow the small evolution that Michael gave them much more easily.
And because of that, the tokens began to roll. Much more than before. They were reaching millions by the minute!
They had finally secured the top 10 finish in the Feast. He had only widened the gap between him and the other Upper Echelon companies.
And if this trend continued, Castelle told him that they may even reach the top 5 of the entire Feast!
That certainly activated Michael’s desire. After all, the prize for the top 3 and the top 10 were vastly different.
Those in the top 10 would receive some rare objects, ingredients and one of the Tri-star territories in the Upper Echelon area.
But those in the top 3 would receive something truly coveted even by the Upper Echelon companies.
And that was territories all over the globe.
The main difference between an Upper Echelon and a Conglomerate was sheer scale.
An Upper Echelon dominated a single market, achieving near monopoly of the sales in a single territory or area.
But a Conglomerate dominated every single market in every single area of the world. They had their hands on everything, meaning they gained money in everything.
The Draconians had promised the top 3 companies in the Feast that they would receive their own fleet of Wyverns to use.
Every single Upper Echelon company ached to have that fleet. That was how they could evolve from their small pond over to the global scale! Without it, they wouldn’t be able to call themselves a Conglomerate. With it, they’d be able to dominate the world!
Now, Michael wasn’t planning on expanding over to other continents for now.
But achieving the top 3 would give him a lot of leverage to finally become an Upper Echelon. They couldn’t deny his ascension then.
Also, having his own wyverns would be cool. Not as vehicles, but pets. He didn’t need them to fly or travel, after all. He just needed them to be cute.
Anyway, if things went well, they could achieve a top 3 finish in the Feast. The crowd in the Feast was growing bigger by the second. Those from the other territories visited New Sparta. They’d heard about what happened and decided to see it for themselves.
Michael overlooked this scenery until he heard a buzz on his table.
It was his phone. He got a call.
He picked it up and saw that it was from Eldea. In fact, it wasn’t just her. The Mystic Master Rivet also sent him a couple of messages with an urgent spam.
“Hello,” he greeted Eldea.
{Hello, Michael. You have to come here. They’re talking about the ending the Feast!”}
Michael’s eyes widened before he quickly disappeared into his own shadow.
He followed the signal of the phone and tracked down Eldea, finding her to be in a Draconian Tower, smack dab in the middle of New Sparta.
This spire was bigger, taller, and more grand than the rest of them all.
He walked over towards the entrance, where a large red swirly portal led inside.
“Excuse me, you cannot enter,” said a human guard. They emitted their Aubility Power outwardly, intending to knock Michael off his feet.
Michael kept his gaze forwards and kept walking.
And just as the guards were about to apprehend them, they felt a wave of power spread all over their bodies.
Their eyes widened as they stumbled back. This kid had Nascent Influence!
