Reborn In A Cultivation World With All Cheat Abilities
Chapter 190: The Battle Begins 3: AuthorityA loud, guttural screech tore through the garden, followed by a large pool of fire, emerging from an infant-sized dragon, flapping its wings with all its might.
Raijin, who had found a comfortable spot on a branch of the tree to sleep on, had now joined the battle, it’s small but extremely ruthless dragon breath burned hordes of demons to ashes as the tiny dragon flew across the battlefield, its dark green scales glistening under the sunlight. Fire the color of a burning furnace, larger than its own body size.

Jacob watched as Morbius zipped across the battlefield in an attempt to harm him. With his newfound speed, as all limitations had been lifted off of him. Morbius appeared in slow motion, as though he were casually jogging on the ground.
Jacob smiled and closed the gap within seconds, he placed a palm on Morbius’ chest.
His aim was simple, overwhelm him with a power that was inherently his, or the Demon King’s.
The second Jacob placed a palm on Morbius’ chest, a large ball of flame began to form inside the monster’s body, heating up his chest very quickly.
Within a second, Morbius was sent flying across the field like a bowling ball. There was a hole in his chest releasing a large cloud of smoke as he crashed into dozens of his own soldiers, severing their limbs from their bodies as a result of the sheer force.
He landed on the exact spot where Lucien had once knelt, grunting in pain and trying his best not to touch the affected spot.
"H-How did you do that!?" Morbius shouted across the field with wide eyes. He had not even perceived when the hit had struck him at all, all he remembered was that the figure of the boy had vanished and in less than a second, he was on his back with a hole in his chest.
"Are we making enquiries, or are we fighting?" Jacob asked, still with an unbothered look on his face. One that upset Morbius to the core.
’This kid is miles stronger than his grandfather, but I still have the power of my master. I will not fall.’ Morbius thought silently.
He struggled to his feet and gripped the handle of his sickles as hard as he could, seemingly absorbing energy from the tool. The hole in his chest healed quickly, closing up in no time.
Jacob raised a brow, that was rather quick healing, not as quick as his, but quick regardless. No matter, Morbius would approach his limit soon.
"You are fast, I will give you that, but I still bear the the authority of the Demon King, and that surpasses all authority, you will not win here!" Morbius said as he darted again, in a battle like this one, due to his his experience, he already knew that king range attacks would hold absolutely no water because of how fast Jacob was.
That was why he had to close the gap quickly, closing the gap would mean a plethora of things, but the most important would be that he would have a lot of room to be able to hit Jacob with his overwhelming strength.
A single cut from the Sickles of Pyrus was equivalent to getting stung by a thousand scorpions, Morbius had modified his blade in an alchemy shop in Helmand. The general had prepared very fervently for this altercation, and as such he would give it everything he had.
The words he spoke resounded in Jacob’s mind. Authority. What did he know of authority? Was he just peddling that word around to prove that his master was superior to every being in the world?
If his master was so superior then why would he need grandeur plans such as this to escape a simple prison? Jacob’s mind raced a million miles per minute.
There was no authority, Morbius ran in zigzag motion, he thought it was better to do so, as it would make him harder to hit, but he was no faster than before. The more Jacob watched him, the more he saw how much of a slave he was. He saw someone who had been so afraid, he had forced himself so much to believe that what his master was doing was right. And in that same light had turned himself to something even he could not recognize.
Jacob waited, he allowed Morbius to get as close as possible, since the demon could still see him, he swung his blade up, and was about to send it crashing down in one swift motion.
’I’ll show you what authority is.’ Jacob thought to himself, and just as Morbius’ blade was about to sever his body in two split pieces, Jacob said a single command, one word, with a flick of his wrist.
"Stop." He didn’t shout, or scream. It was subtle, the same way one would tell a child to stop whatever they were doing.
Morbius paused completely, his body had simply refused to move, much as he struggled, he heaved and pushed. He fought it, mentally, physically, but his body just won’t respond to the commands.
His mouth was the only thing that could still move in this state as he stood there, a sickle in both hands, one leg up behind him, and the other a few inches from the ground.
"W-What... what are you doing to me!? Arrgghhh!" Morbius roared ferociously, his body had begun to undergo some changes, it was as though he was evolving. His arms grew bigger, veins popping out of every available space, his neck grew broader. His horns even grew longer.
There was a look of unbridled rage on his face as he pushed himself past his limit. Yet, he still could not get himself to move from that spot.
The look on his face gradually shifted from pain, to anger, to rage, and then to fear.
He could not understand how this little human boy could cause someone of his caliber to freeze in such a manner, unable to break free of his command.
He felt like a rat in a very tight, hot metal box.
Jacob looked back at him with cold, unflinching eyes, the young man did not move, instead he gave another command amidst the chaos happening around them.
"Kneel."
