Reborn In A Cultivation World With All Cheat Abilities
Chapter 198: ReunionShe got over it pretty quickly, as it made no sense to bear any grudges towards the young master at this point in time.
"I’ll get Leon to bring the carriage in, hold on." Alaric said as he started walking away slowly.
"Don’t worry grandpa, I have a better idea, plus it makes no sense to spend all that time on the road." Jacob responded, Alaric’s eyes flashed in surprise as he did not have any clue what his grandson was talking about, neither did Esty, they decided to trust him anyways.
With a single thought, a large door opened in the garden, it’s edged were glowing in a bright golden hue and the door looked impenetrable. Jacob was the first to step towards it, he moved closer to the door and opened it with relative ease, beckoning on the other to come through.
Although edges of the door were glowing brilliantly, the threshold itself gave off no light whatsoever. When they stepped through, there was nothing but perpetual darkness for a moment, and then suddenly they were back in the Ironfell castle, standing in the brightly lit hallways, the sun draping in almost perfectly.
"Whoa! What?!" Esty exclaimed, Alaric just held his head in his hands and opened his mouth in shock, they could not believe that they had just been teleported. Ordinarily, Jacob could just snap his fingers and he’d appear anywhere he wanted, but for the sake of his family, he had to make it a grand gesture.
"How did you do that boy?" Alaric grabbed Jacob’s shoulders, but it wasn’t in a way where it came off as erratic, it was more of amazement, as though he really wished to learn how his grandson was capable of doing such a thing.
"Well grandpa, it’s just a skil I picked up." Jacob smiled at Xenia, who smiled back, she had already known about the boy’s teleportation a while ago, it was not news to her at all.
There was a servant passing in that exact moment, carrying a tray with a single ceramic kettle in it, she wore a traditional maid outfit and whistled as she walked in a carefree manner.
The effervescent glow that the corridor gave off did not seem to affect her much, as she was clearly already used to it. Her face had an unusual glow, lined with makeup, it was the glow of someone who enjoyed doing their job.
She walked further and caught wind of Jacob, Alaric, Esty, and Xenia and immediately, the tray fell from her grasp, crashing onto the polished marble floors with a metallic ring, the ceramic kettle breaking into pieces, near unfixable piece.
"P-Patriarch... Y-Young master... M-Matriarch..." she stammered, pointing forwards and rubbing her eyes, wondering if she was seeing clearly. She had just been hired recently, so she did not know who the other woman with red hair and leather overalls was, but she certainly looked very beautiful.
"You know that is coming out of your pay right. And I’m no longer your Patriarch." Alaric said playfully, as he moved to the large glass dome that separated the castle from the outside.
"I’m—I’m so sorry, I’ll clean that up immediately, the Patriarch didn’t inform anyone of your arrival, so I was a little stunned..." the maid bent down to pick up the pieces of broken ceramics, putting them back in the tray slowly.
The only reason she had recognized Jacob, Alaric, amd Esty was the very several pictures of them that lined the halls, working all day in the Ironfell stronghold, such portraits were hard to miss.
"Hey, it’s okay, they did not know we were coming either." Jacob smiled at the woman, who was around his age, but seemed a little older, she was certainly not ugly. Her heart fluttered as she saw how handsome the young master looked, it was all she could do to keep her balance in that moment.
She swallowed hard and struggled to keep her illicit thoughts to herself. "I’ll... I’ll just turn this in, and show you to the Patriarch and Matriarch’s chambers immediately."
"No need, we’ll find them ourselves, do what you have to do."

It was not long before they reached the main chambers of the Patriarch and Matriarch of Ironfell, Jacob was the one to knock on the door:
KNOCK! KNOCK!
The young man knocked twice, only twice. From the other side of the door, Rhoarin raised his head from a book and pushed his glasses up, he looked at Elena, who sat on her dresser, lost in thought. It was clear that she hadn’t even heard the knock on the door.
The knock was different, it was clearly not a maid of the castle, so who would be able to get past their defenses and knock directly on their room door.
He peeped through the hole in the middle and what he saw caused his heart to beat very rapidly, he hurried my opened the door with wide eyes and a wildly beating heart.
"Hey! W-What are you guys—!" Rhoarin exclaimed with his arms spread out to his side, he immediately pounced on all of them, causing Xenia to wince as she wasn’t completely healed yet.
Rhoarin’s shout caused Elena to regain herself and look towards the entrance, her eyes immediately lit up and a bright smile flashed on her face after what she saw.
Their family was standing in the doorway, unscathed. She took to her heels, darting towards Jacob and hugging him as tightly as her smallish body allowed. Tears running down her cheeks as usual. "Please tell me you’re here to stay this time." She said.
"Yes mother, I’m here to stay." Jacob chuckled, fortunately his mother wasn’t as strong as he was, so it wasn’t uncomfortable to be hugged like this. He also remained conscious of her belly.
"Good."
In another few minutes, they all sat in the room, all the greetings had been concluded and they let Xenia sit on their matrimonial bed.
"Don’t worry Xenia, a healer would be here soon." Elena held the woman’s hand, Xenia nodded and smiled, in that moment she knew instantly that it did not matter what happened in her past, this was her family.
"How did you all meet in the same place and decide to come home together? Also how did you get here without anyone noticing? I have so many questions." Rhoarin handed a glass of wine to his father and glasses of water to his mother and Jacob, mostlybecause Esty did not drink and Jacob was not old enough.
"Ohh we have a story for you." Alaric said after taking a sip of his wine.
"Tell me."

"Okay, young master, I have your carriage—" Leon walked towards the garden, fixing a strap around his waist, and about to inform Jacob that they were ready to go, but stopped in his tracks when he looked beyond the garden gates and found no one.
"Young Master! Xenia!" He called out but no one responded, he was dumbfounded. It was strange, how did they just vanish into thin air. It was just then that he heard a voice in his head:
’Go home to your family Leon, I’m sure they miss you.’
He knew undoubtedly that it was Jacob speaking to him, a tear ran down his face as he remembered his wife and children, he equally missed them, he got on the carriage box seat and with a single "Hyah!" He took off.
