"It’s really over... the world will descend into chaos."
Olium’s voice carried no motivation anymore, his usually composed expression replaced by a hollow stare as he watched the battlefield below. Around him, the other pantheons remained equally stunned, their attention fixed upon the strange figure descending towards the sky.
"Who is that?"
Odir suddenly shouted, his eyes widening as he finally noticed the small human girl flying above the battlefield. None of them had paid much attention to her before, yet now she had somehow risen above thousands of warriors and was carrying an attack powerful enough to change the entire course of the battle.
"What in the heck? I never knew a human could fly like that. Is she one of the chosen ones by the Entity?"
The question left the surrounding pantheons silent, because none of them had an answer. To think that a human they had barely noticed would suddenly become the deciding factor on this battlefield was something none of them had ever considered, much less expected.
Their gazes remained locked onto Trias as the enormous sphere of fire continued descending from the heavens. The blazing mass illuminated the clouds around it, casting an orange glow across the battlefield while its heat alone caused the surrounding air to distort.
---
Back on the battlefield, the colossal ball of fire descended directly toward Zillagod, who remained trapped beneath its trajectory. His enormous body prevented him from escaping in time, and even his attempts to move were far too slow to avoid the approaching destruction.
Everyone below placed their final hope in Trias.
Despite belonging to different races and carrying their own prejudices toward their respective kinsmen, they all found themselves silently praying for the same person. At that moment, the human girl in the sky was no longer merely a human to them, but the final possibility standing between their people and annihilation.
"Please... save our people." A forestian lizardman pleaded silently after looking down at the corpse of his fallen comrade lying beside him. His claws trembled against the ground as he raised his head toward Trias, desperately hoping that the strange human would succeed.
"Human girl, do it! You must do it!"
Siar stared upward with clenched fists, his voice nearly swallowed by the deafening chaos surrounding her.
"Trias..."
Mizyuk quietly whispered her name, his eyes following the tiny figure suspended above the battlefield.
Then the sphere struck.
A blinding light swallowed everything in an instant, erasing the battlefield beneath a sea of white. The explosion was so immense that even those who had been watching from a distance were forced to shut their eyes, while the ground beneath them violently shook as though the entire world itself had been struck.
For several minutes, there was nothing but white.
Then the light finally began to fade.
A tremendous shockwave erupted from the impact site, sweeping across the battlefield with enough force to throw soldiers through the air.
Bodies slammed into the ground one after another, weapons were ripped from their owners’ hands, and countless warriors were knocked unconscious before they could even understand what had happened.
When the dust finally settled, what remained was almost impossible to comprehend.
A gigantic crater had been carved into the depths of the sea, its boundaries stretching farther than the eyes could properly perceive. The water surrounding the impact had been completely obliterated, leaving exposed earth and glowing magma surrounding the enormous wound carved into the world.
Above that devastation, Trias remained suspended in the air.
She did not move. Her expression had remained strangely emotionless throughout the entire attack, and even now, she simply stared downward with eyes completely covered by a pale white glow.
For several seconds, she appeared almost untouched, as though the enormous attack had demanded nothing from her.
Then a faint crack appeared across her cheek.
Trias’s body suddenly trembled.
A thin fracture spread from the side of her face toward her jaw, followed by another that traveled down her neck. Her skin began splitting apart in jagged lines, resembling stone that had been heated beyond its limit before finally beginning to crumble.
Below her, Retian slowly opened his eyes.
Unlike everyone else around him, he had somehow remained conscious through the shockwave, although his vision continued spinning and his body struggled to move. His gaze slowly climbed toward the sky, where the tiny figure of Trias remained motionless above the ruined battlefield.
"Trias?.."
His voice came out weak and confused.
Another crack appeared across Trias’s shoulder.
The fracture spread rapidly, branching across her arm and chest as tiny fragments began breaking away from her body. Each fragment fell silently through the air before disappearing into the distance, while more cracks continued crawling across her skin as though something inside her was tearing her apart.
Retian’s expression changed.
He tried to stand, but his trembling arms barely managed to lift his body from the ground. His eyes remained fixed on Trias as another portion of her arm shattered into pale fragments, leaving nothing behind except a fading white glow.
"Trias!"
This time, his voice was louder; however Trias still did not answer.
Her fingers began crumbling next, breaking apart one by one as cracks consumed her hands. The fractures then spread toward her torso, splitting across her chest and stomach until portions of her body began falling away like pieces of overheated stone.
Her expression seemed to change. Her blank face softened into something almost peaceful.
The white glow covering her eyes slowly weakened as another crack formed across her forehead. Her hair scattered into countless pale fragments, followed by her shoulders, her arms, and finally the rest of her body as the strange force sustaining her began to disappear.
Retian could only watch.
The last remaining fragments of Trias’s body floated silently in the air before breaking apart into countless glowing particles. They lingered for a brief moment above the devastated battlefield, shimmering against the darkened sky, before slowly scattering into the wind and vanishing completely.
The battlefield became silent.
Retian remained frozen beneath the sky, staring at the place where she had been moments ago.
"Trias..."
