Slowly, one after another, the soldiers began regaining consciousness. Their bodies were battered, their weapons scattered across the battlefield, and many struggled just to lift their heads, yet the first thing they noticed was the silence. The mountain-sized creature was gone.

Where it had once stood, there was nothing left except a massive crater carved into the shallow waters, stretching across the battlefield like a scar left upon the world itself.

The surrounding sea had been displaced, leaving broken earth and steaming water in its wake. Confusion immediately spread among the survivors as they tried to understand what had happened.

It was Retian who finally gave them the answer. He told them everything he had witnessed, explaining how the small human girl had suddenly risen into the sky, gathered an overwhelming power around herself, and unleashed an attack powerful enough to erase the creature from existence. Then came the part that none of them wanted to believe.

Trias had shattered. Her body had broken apart before their eyes, disappearing piece by piece until nothing remained. At first, many refused to accept Retian’s words, believing that such an outcome was simply impossible, but every doubt disappeared the moment they looked toward the enormous crater stretching across the shallow waters.

"So Trias sacrificed herself..."

Another soldier lowered his head, staring silently toward the destruction. "To think she was silent all this time, only to sacrifice her life at the end..."

Siar stood among them, his expression still unable to comprehend what had happened. "That human girl really did it..."

No one corrected him.

The following day, the surviving armies gathered once again upon that very battlefield. There were no weapons raised against one another this time, as soldiers from different races stood together and paid their respects to the countless lives that had been lost during the battle.

Some placed their weapons into the earth, while others lowered their heads in silence. Among all the fallen, however, there was one name that continued to linger within their minds, belonging to the young human girl who had given her life so that the rest of them could live.

Erid eventually stepped forward and raised his weapon toward the sky. "We won!"

For a moment, there was only silence. Then the entire battlefield erupted.

Roars shook the surrounding land as soldiers screamed, laughed, embraced one another, and raised their weapons into the air. Some wept from relief, while others collapsed to their knees after finally releasing the fear they had carried throughout the battle.

They had survived. And the monster was gone, and after everything they had endured, victory finally belonged to them.

Days passed, and the news began spreading far beyond the battlefield. Messengers carried the story from settlement to settlement, merchants repeated it along their routes, and travelers brought it to places that had never even seen the war.

What had happened on that battlefield gradually transformed from a desperate struggle for survival into the story of an impossible victory. The Riversians had survived, the Forestians had survived, and the settlements that had once prepared themselves for devastation remained standing.

In the Riversian settlements, the people finally received the news they had spent days desperately waiting for. The monster had been defeated, their warriors had survived, and the threat that had once seemed capable of destroying everything they knew was finally gone.

Cheers erupted throughout the settlements as people flooded into the streets, embracing their families and celebrating the return of those who had survived.

The Forestians celebrated in much the same way. Those who had once prepared themselves to lose everything now gathered beneath their banners, raising their voices toward the heavens in celebration of their survival.

Some cried when they heard the names of those who had returned, while others mourned those who had not, knowing that their victory had been purchased with countless lives. Yet beneath the sorrow was something that had been nearly forgotten during the war, hope.

Among those who heard the news were the merchants who had once met Retian. Pero stood silently as the story was told to him, his expression remaining still for several moments before a faint smile appeared across his face.

"That boy made it."

The victory itself became something far greater than the destruction of a single monster. The Riversians survived, the Forestians survived, and countless soldiers returned home to their families who had spent days believing they would never see them again.

For the first time, races that had spent years fighting one another possessed a story that belonged to all of them. They had stood together against something far beyond their understanding, and against all expectations, they had won.

Far away, however, not everyone celebrated the victory.

Among the Dark Elves, the news was received with bitter silence. They had expected the Elves to be crushed beneath their assault, yet somehow, the Elves had successfully repelled them and emerged victorious from the conflict.

"This is unacceptable."

The Dark Elves had prepared themselves to celebrate the humiliation of their ancient rivals, only to receive news that the Elves had successfully defeated them. Their disappointment spread throughout their settlements, with some refusing to believe the reports while others quietly began questioning how their carefully prepared campaign had failed.

Trias’s name traveled throughout the continent faster than anyone could have anticipated. Within weeks, nearly every major settlement had heard the tale of the mysterious human woman who had sacrificed her life to destroy a monster the size of a mountain.

Songs began being written about her, travelers exaggerated her feats, and children began hearing her name from their parents. Eventually, the people gave her a title worthy of the legend she had left behind.

Trias, the Mountain Destroyer.

Some claimed she had been a legendary warrior hiding her strength for years. Others believed she had been chosen by a god, while some insisted that she had possessed an ancient power forgotten by the world.

There were even those who called her something else.

Trias the Unknown.

No one knew where her power had truly come from. No one knew where she had been born, what she had endured, or why a woman who had spent her life wandering alone had been willing to sacrifice everything for people she barely knew.

The mystery only made her legend grow.

But her name did not spread only among ordinary people. Far from the celebrations and memorials, within the hidden halls of an unorthodox organization, the story eventually reached the ears of someone who had been watching the world from the shadows.

A man sat quietly as he listened to the report, his fingers resting against the arm of his chair. A faint smile slowly formed across his face as his eyes narrowed with interest.

"To think that they actually defeated that mountain-like creature..."

He leaned back slightly. "This is going to be interesting."

The man was Sebastian Flyde.

And within the Werewolf Concentration, the name of Trias had just become a subject of interest.
