Red Rings: "Then, do other players already have the ability to invade other players?"

Dr. Diagnosis: "It seems like we need to accelerate our progress, or else we might not be able to defend ourselves."

X_X: "I’m speeding up time."

Red Rings: "I think i will so too."

The information about the dead players made Liam rethink the choices he had made until now. He had always considered the development of his planet something that could happen naturally, allowing civilizations to grow at their own pace while he observed their progress from above.

But the existence of players capable of invading other worlds had changed that perspective completely. If there were already players capable of directly interfering with another player’s planet, then eventually, someone could arrive at his world and attempt to take everything he had spent so long creating.

"For me to have better chances at dealing with any threats, I need a strong team behind me. I need to cultivate strong individuals who can stand against whatever enemies may eventually come."

With that thought in mind, Liam immediately returned his attention toward his planet. He had been so focused on the conversation that he had temporarily forgotten about the situation occurring below, but another thought suddenly crossed his mind.

"The people are fighting Zillagod right now?"

The moment his consciousness returned to his planet, Liam immediately saw the condition of the battlefield. His creations were in terrible shape, with countless warriors injured or lying motionless across the ruined land while the survivors continued struggling against the overwhelming monster.

The battlefield that had once been filled with organized armies had become almost unrecognizable.

Liam’s expression became serious as he watched them. He had already decided that he wanted to cultivate powerful individuals, but there was no reason to allow the people he intended to cultivate to be slaughtered before they ever had the opportunity to grow.

"I can’t just watch this."

Liam immediately activated Consciousness Override and searched through the battlefield for a suitable vessel. His consciousness eventually settled upon a young human girl who was still alive despite the chaos surrounding her, and without wasting another moment, he entered her body.

The girl suddenly froze as an unfamiliar consciousness occupied her mind. Before she could understand what had happened, Liam had already taken control of her body and turned her attention toward the enormous monster standing in the distance.

Zillagod was still rampaging across the battlefield, its massive body covered in wounds yet showing no sign of stopping. The soldiers surrounding it had already reached their limits, and another attack from the creature could potentially finish off the remaining forces.

Liam raised the girl’s hand. "Enough."

He immediately activated Meteor Summoner.

The sky above the battlefield began to distort as a massive meteor suddenly appeared high above the clouds. Its surface burned violently as it descended through the atmosphere, and the enormous object quickly became visible to everyone on the battlefield.

The meteor crashed directly into the battlefield.

A tremendous explosion erupted across the land, swallowing Zillagod completely while a shockwave tore through the surrounding area. Dust and debris were thrown into the air.

When the dust finally began to settle, Zillagod was nowhere to be seen. The monster that had nearly wiped out the entire army had been killed by a single attack, leaving behind only a massive crater where it had previously stood.

Liam looked at the destruction with slight surprise. He had expected Meteor Summoner to be powerful enough to kill Zillagod, but he had not expected the attack to be so overwhelmingly destructive.

"That should take care of it."

However, before Liam could withdraw from the girl’s body, something unexpected happened. Cracks suddenly appeared across her skin, spreading rapidly throughout her body as the vessel began to collapse under the strain of the power Liam had forced through it.

Liam immediately realized what was happening.

The girl’s body shattered before he could do anything to stop it. Liam had never expected the vessel to completely break apart.

He immediately activated Consciousness Space.

Liam focused his attention on it and realized that her existence had not completely disappeared. Her consciousness was weak and confused, but there was still enough of her remaining for him to attempt something.

Liam remained silent for several moments as he looked at the body. He had not originally intended to sacrifice his physical manifestation, but the situation had forced him into making a choice, and he found himself strangely unwilling to regret it.

Perhaps it was because he had spent too long watching these people live their lives.

Somewhere along the way, they had stopped feeling like simple creations to him.

"They need to become stronger."

Liam looked toward the battlefield where the surviving warriors were beginning to recover. If another catastrophe like this appeared, he could not always rely on himself to arrive at the exact moment they needed him.

More importantly, the threat he had just learned about was not something that could be solved simply by defeating monsters native to his planet. Other players existed, and some of them could eventually become powerful enough to invade worlds belonging to other players.

"I need individuals who can stand at the top."

Liam’s consciousness began moving away from the battlefield. He had already made his decision, and from this point forward, he would pay closer attention to the individuals who possessed extraordinary potential.

And if necessary, he would interfere with their evolution to ensure that they reached heights that ordinary beings could never achieve.

Meanwhile, far away from the battlefield, the three pantheons were sitting upon their thrones in a state of exhaustion. Their bodies were almost melted into their seats after witnessing their descendants being pushed to the brink of complete annihilation, and none of them had been capable of stopping Zillagod themselves.

Fortunately, a mysterious human had suddenly appeared and turned the entire battle around.

"I thought that was it."

The three pantheons remained silent after those words. They had already accepted that their descendants were about to be wiped out, yet somehow, at the very last moment, someone had descended and eliminated the monster with a single overwhelming attack.

Moleius the Wise slowly looked toward the battlefield in the distance. His expression carried none of the relief that the others expected, instead showing the solemn understanding of someone who had begun to see a deeper meaning behind what had happened.

"The Entity had already woven the outcome from beginning to end."

"We believed ourselves to be standing before the end of our descendants, yet the hand that could alter the outcome had already been watching from beyond our understanding."

The other two pantheons remained silent, unable to argue against his words. They had failed to protect their own descendants, and the fact that another being had intervened at the final moment only made that failure more apparent.

Suddenly, the throne at the center of the divine domain began to shimmer with strange lights. The surrounding space distorted as countless fragments of reality began gathering together, slowly constructing something within the empty space before the three pantheons.

Reality formed piece by piece.

Light gathered around the throne as the surrounding space stabilized. What had once been empty air gradually transformed into a complete structure, and from within that newly constructed reality, Liam appeared.

The three pantheons immediately shut their mouths.

All three turned toward him at the same time, their expressions becoming solemn as they felt the overwhelming presence that had suddenly descended upon their domain. None of them dared to speak before him.

They immediately lowered their heads.

"Your great pantheon greets the Entity."

Their voices echoed together throughout the divine domain. The three pantheons remained bowed, refusing to raise their eyes until Liam acknowledged their presence.

Liam stood before them without speaking.

His arrival alone caused the atmosphere of the entire domain to change. The surrounding space seemed to become heavier, while an indescribable pressure spread outward from his existence, reminding the three pantheons of the vast difference between their authority and that of the being standing before them.

After allowing the silence to linger, Liam finally spoke.

"You witnessed the first challenge that descended upon the world."

The words were calm, but the authority behind them made the three pantheons instinctively lower their heads even further. They knew exactly what Liam was referring to.

Moleius the Wise was the first to respond.

"We apologize, Great Entity. We sought to repel the calamity, yet the strength within our hands proved insufficient to bring that monster to its end."

The other two pantheons remained silent beside him. None of them dared to meet Liam’s gaze after admitting their failure, especially after witnessing their descendants nearly disappear before their very eyes.

Liam looked at the three pantheons for several moments.

"Very well."

His voice echoed through the divine domain with quiet authority. There was no anger within it, yet somehow that made the words feel even heavier.

"The failure is yours to remember, but it need not become the fate of those who come after you."

The three pantheons remained motionless.

"Next time, I hope the hand of the Entity will not need to descend."

The words carried the weight of a divine decree rather than a simple warning. Liam had not come to punish them, but he had made his expectations unmistakably clear.

The three pantheons bowed deeply.

"We shall not fail again."

Liam’s gaze moved across the three divine beings before him. His expression remained calm as he prepared to reveal the reason for his arrival.

"I shall soon bring more individuals."

The three pantheons immediately focused their attention on him. They did not know who these individuals would be, nor why the Entity had chosen to bring them into their world, but they understood that questioning his decision would be meaningless.

"You will guide them."

Liam’s voice carried a deeper authority.

"Teach them the laws of this world, guide their steps when they stray, and nurture their strength without allowing it to become ruin. Let their arrival become another step toward the prosperity of the world entrusted to your hands."

Moleius lowered his head.

"We shall obey, Great Entity."

Liam looked beyond them, his gaze seemingly passing through the divine domain and toward the world below. His consciousness could already see the civilizations recovering from the battle, unaware that their creator had just begun making plans for the future.

"The era ahead will demand more from this world."

His voice remained calm.

"The first calamity has already revealed how fragile your descendants remain."

The three pantheons did not respond.

"Therefore, prepare them."

Liam’s presence slowly began to fade as the reality surrounding him started dissolving. The divine domain became brighter for a brief moment before the figure of the Entity began disappearing piece by piece.

"The next challenge may not be something I choose to resolve for you."

His final words echoed throughout the domain.

"Become worthy of protecting what has been entrusted to you."
