Reincarnated as a Half-God with SSS Abilities
Chapter 227 - 2.104 [Castle Bonus] The Higher Powers"Do you feel better sweetie?" Diana asked.
"Yes, thanks. Did you listen in?"
"Nah, I didn’t even need to. I don’t fully understand it like you do, but I feel like we just skipped four years of our lives while living it, if that makes sense."
"It makes perfect sense, I just feel like I’ve done that since I was a kid. I’m just lucky to have you and a great family. I guess we need to start looking at things as a god and goddess now."
"Yes we do. We aren’t like everyone else anymore and the thing your parents always had was they were people for a while. I got to be one too. You’ve always been a god so your path has always been different. I’m sorry Xander."
"Don’t be! I have you and we can wipe out these stupid werewolves and get ready for Xades’ creepy army."
Julius and Xander caught up about things and they joked about both losing their virginity on their wedding night. Julius made him feel a lot better because Jules always knew that Xander was going to be older than him one day, it was just a matter of when. He also explained he had no desire to pass the trial of the gods and when his time in this world was over, he would simply hope that being a Lockheart and living a good life like his mother did would get him into heaven.
Xander realized Julius didn’t have much of a childhood either. He was a demon prodigy who was always looked up to and watched because of his Dad’s powerful status in the demon army.
"What was it like growing up with your dad always gone?"
"It sucked man. My mom was always there though. That’s the thing about our parents, they’re always there for us, no matter what. I’m surprised they even let you go to Paradise for two days if I’m being honest. Your dad doesn’t seem like someone to miss out on his kid’s life."
"Our dad," Xander smiled.
"Yeah, you’re right. So does that make Rissa your sister in law?"
"I guess it does." Xander laughed. "Alright man thanks for the talk, I’m going to get some sleep."
"Anytime man and if you want to spar, just let me know."
"For sure, like the good ole days."

Levi and Sasha left and left the kids to talk and explained everything with Xander. Sasha was glad Levi was there for him and was wondering if and when they were ever going to be parents. She didn’t want a kid during the war, though. She knew the fight against the werewolves was coming and she told Levi her fear was that Hades’ would show up and catch them off guard when they attacked Obsidian Hollow. Levi said that’s now how Hades acts and he probably doesn’t even care about the werewolves.
Rissa and Diana laughed about how they were the same age and also talked about their wedding nights. They agreed to have a girls night soon and everyone went their separate ways.
The next morning came and the gods were ready for their meeting. The party knew it was going on because neither Sora nor Brie ever kept a secret from any of them.
"Ok, so let’s just lay everything we need to lay out on the table today so we can get past this." Celeste said to everyone sitting in one of the smaller conference rooms they used to use for strategies.
"I’ll go first. I never got to be a kid and it sucked. A lot of it is my fault for messing with time, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. The time in Paradise with Nana Fena was invaluable and I should probably stop calling her that, but I feel like if I don’t, my life is fully dedicated to being a god and I lose all traces of being a person."
"Xander..." Brie said sadly. "I’m sorry and both your father and I know this. You also need to hear it from us: You need to stop worrying about the decisions and things we have to deal with. We appreciate all of your help but you’re only 18. We’re not saying we’re so much older than you, but really, we are... we’re your parents, have been gods longer than you and yes, you have Zeus’ blessing, but that shouldn’t make you or Diana feel like you need to take this stuff on alone."
"I’m sorry that I told Pride about Sora’s history, but it was something he needed to know." Eris said calmly.
"I’m curious, why did you feel that he needed to know about my history when he could have just talked about it with me?" Sora asked politely. "I’m not upset or anything, but what is it about Pride that makes you so attracted to him and willing to trust him? Did you not consistently mock Azazel and Helen? Myself and Brie? What’s so different about him?"
"See, that’s what you don’t understand. The sins weren’t created by Azazel, they were created by Helen."
"Wait, what?!" Celeste exclaimed.
"Yes, Azazel was essentially a puppet who was powering them up, but Pride could have snapped his, or any of the sins heads off in an instant. The sins were Helen’s fail safe. She used magic to trick Azazel into thinking they were his and all of the sins aside from Pride fell under her spell. Pride just hid it very well, but thousands of years ago, he told me about everything. That’s why I can trust him."
Sora and Brie shook their heads in disbelief. Xander and Diana just stared at each other speechless.
"So, this entire time, Pride is actually a creation of Helen and is a god?" Brie asked.
"My titans were not gods, they were creations by a god. The difference is Helen infused parts of the creation magic gods have with the sins where I did not with the titans. Xander, what color is his morality?"
"Silver, like the other mythicals. It’s not gold like a god."
"Such a silly boy." Eris shook her head. "You should be smarter than that."
