Reincarnated as a Half-God with SSS Abilities

Chapter 228 - 2.105 [Castle Bonus] Hidden in Plain Sight.

The room thought long and hard in silence about Eris’ statement. Sora figured it out right away but didn’t want to tell anyone. It finally clicked in Celeste and Brie’s head but Xander and Diana still looked confused.

"Xander, what is Eris’ ability?" Sora asked him with a smile.

Eris smiled. She knew Sora was always ahead of Hades and Athena always spoke so highly of him. ’If my sister was that confident he was this smart and this aware, that we should trust him undoubtedly. She’s never wrong. Otherwise I wouldn’t have wasted away my life in that stupid makeshift prison. I just wish Xander was around back then... would have made things so much easier.’

"So I could have just sped you up, right?" Xander smirked.

"She can manipulate other people’s magic." He continued.

"Oh, I get it." Diana said calmly. "He doesn’t have a silver hue doesn’t he? It’s gold, you just manipulate it consistently to make it look silver."

"Smart wife you have there Xander," Brie smiled.

"So Pride is a god?! Why isn’t he here?" Xander asked, shocked.

"I am. Again, you fail to misread Eris’ abilities." Pride said as he appeared sitting down next to Eris with his arm around her calmly.

"So you manipulated mine too." Celeste laughed.

"I can’t believe none of you realized this," Sora laughed. "Brie and I are the second youngest gods in the room and I knew way before this meeting."

Brie looked at him. "The man who lived under a rock for his first 2 years in Exteria knew all of this... please explain yourself."

"Why else couldn’t he speak about anything he was doing with Xander? Sure, the sin bond but he knew Hades’ was watching and had been to the secret realm." Sora started explaining.

"Ok?" Brie said. "Continue..."

"After we fought, why would he know so much about Eris? Also, why would he formally agree to come fight me one on one, agree to a soul shattering battle if he didn’t know Athena or Hades’ would just do it if he didn’t pick a side?"

"That still doesn’t explain how you knew he was a god." Brie smiled. "But still, impressive."

Xander and Diana just sat in amazement. Xander couldn’t stop thinking about how young, stupid and naive he was to snap at Eris the night before.

"Well, then she revealed her ability when she basically let Xander beat him. She can manipulate anyone in the party’s ability, including mine. She could manipulate time beforehand."

Eris smirked. "Now I see why my sister likes you so much."

Sora laughed. "When you disappeared, it had to have been because you couldn’t protect Pride anymore and Hades gave you those creepy eyes and probably sent you on a mission. So you hid in plain sight in Limbo until the time was right. Once it was time to switch back over to the correct side, you froze time for everyone in that space just for a few moments so you could make sure that Pride’s color always appeared silver to Xander."

"Impressive." Pride smiled. "You never explained how a demon could be a god, though."

"Do I really have to explain that Athena, any of her sisters, Zeus, Hades could create any type of being they wanted? I was half god and half Uthra, although born naturally from... one of Zeus’ daughters. It’s really pretty simple. Hell, Dorian exists because the gods allowed him to create a vampiric race. Selene’s probably a vampire herself. Nyx is probably a werewolf. None of it matters, the children of Zeus are on a different playing field which means Hades is insanely strong because he’s his brother." Sora smiled.

"Dad, you’re unreal smart..." Xander trailed off. "I’m sorry Eri–"

"Stop apologizing. You are a god. Your wife is a goddess. Your parents, brothers and sisters, aside from Julius, are god and goddess. When this Exterian thing is over, Athena will have different orders for all of us. Sora and Brie will probably get to relax or take over someone’s job. Athena already told me that Pride and I can finally have a kid or do whatever we want. Celeste gets a nice break too. I don’t know what she has in store for you and Diana, but it’s obviously important otherwise she wouldn’t have had us wake up my dad."

Xander and Diana just sat there, silent. Everyone in the room now fully understood what Athena meant when she said, "You need to learn to become a god and goddess." They didn’t feel deceived, nor did they feel lied to. They were just amazed that their parents and now they played such a large role in the Universe and all these matters on Exteria seemed small, yet still so purposeful.

If they couldn’t save this planet, Hades’ and company would get stronger and the ensuing war would be that much more difficult. Sora and Brie had always known this, as did the rest of the group, but Xander and Diana were finally up to speed on what to do.

"So Emma and Emery, Iris, none of the kids or the parents of kids are going to have to fight in the war against the werewolves, are they?"

"Nope. Your mom and dad will, and you and Diana are free to, but trust me when I tell you, Azazel wasn’t as strong as you think. Just look at what Ignis did to him. He flat out tricked him into thinking he killed him and read his mind and saw all his memories." Eris smiled.

"I am sorry that I deceived all of you but it is like I told you Sora, if I wanted you and Brie dead that day, you would have been dead. The only thing that truly was hard for me to do was the things I had to do with Leila. I didn’t want to just reveal myself as a god because that’s a cheap way of explaining to someone you tortured you were "doing it for the bigger picture." She sat locked in a damn tower for 2500 years and I physically and mentally tortured her for two months.

"Well, you can’t change that now, so just keep moving forward like you are."

Xander and Diana both laughed.

"Are you glad to not have to do that anymore, Eris?"

"Yes! Consistently manipulating magic is exhausting."
