Chapter 948: Chapter 948: A Plan With No End

Seth had done the calculations so carefully that they seemed insane.

He did not have any backup plans for this plan, he never did. This was always the plan even though he didn’t know this was the plan.

Right from the start, from the very moment that he gained some autonomy from his father, Seth had always hoped for something like this to happen.

He had always hoped to not just be free, but to be unchained and boundless in concept and in literal terms.

His visions pierced the future, seeing how his life could be. What he wanted had always been hard to describe or put in words but he had always known that he wanted it.

He didn’t know exactly how he was going to get it; he never knew where he would get it from, and he didn’t even know if he would get it.

But he wanted it.

Throughout his life, by working for his father, he played the long game silently and quietly.

Careful, he was very careful with everything he had been doing for a very long time.

No one knew but Seth had been acting on his plan even before he finalized it. No one ever knew because it always looked like Seth was going with the flow when he in fact wasn’t.

He was just planning on the way because he himself never knew what he was planning for.

The first time he got a solid grasp of what he could do with his time was when he was sent to Draconic Heaven by the Ancient Council of Felines to help Ibadon the Abomination fight against the lions.

Back then, he knew that the Ancient Felines had been planning against the likes for some time and it wasn’t a regular type of planning either.

He was merely acting as their spoon in the poor of schemes, stirring the ingredients so that it could all come out properly.

It was from there that he began his work with Chen. It was also at the Draconic Heaven that Seth had found the Beyonder which he used to send Chen outside the universe.

Sure, Ibadon had ended up being drowned by his desire for revenge, but it still allowed Chen to hide some of his actions.

From there, he had worked with the two ancient guardians of the Outerverse, receiving information on how and when he could go there to do what he wanted to do.

Slowly and gradually, what Seth needed to do was becoming clearer, but he didn’t really know the end thereof still.

But he kept moving though. He ignored a lot of his father’s calls and intentionally did some very stupid things around the Felines.

He was even willing to retreat the entire Feline Assembly when Kael came to take revenge and fight him.

At the end of the day, he wasn’t as committed as Kael to doing something because of one simple reason. Kael already knew what he wanted to do.

The All-King already had his final stage right before his eyes.

The Alphaverse, that was the most important game-changing element in the whole grand scheme that was happening.

How Kael had managed to escape from the Original with so many immortal lions at the same time, Seth had a few guesses for that.

But as for how Kael had been able to create a literal private universe for himself within the main universe, that was a complete mystery.

Still, Seth did not relent. He may not have known it at first but he knew it eventually.

As things went on, Kael came to him and asked him for help. Seth originally would not have accepted but he sensed an opportunity.

It also made sense that Kale would want to release Change as that would force the Highest Will to slow down whatever he was doing.

This was something that would benefit Seth and pretty much everyone as well.

But Seth felt that he could maybe get the Primordial Rat from the deal as well. If he could get the Primordial Rat, he could kill it and become a Singularity, fulfilling a mission that his father had wanted him to do.

But as Seth and Kael were chased through the Gap and into the Myriad Heaven by the Ant God, Seth began to see more clearly.

He wanted what Kael had, but he didn’t want to have to do everything that Kael had done.

So, Seth decided to do something that he had not actually planned properly, as always.

Out of all his plans, this was the most immediate and spontaneous one. Yet it was also the most important plan he could have ever cooked up in his head.

Even the plan with Chen, turning the tiger into a puppet, and then turning him into the Avatar of the Law of The Foreign, was not calculated well.

By the time Chen had gone to Draconic Heaven to help Ibadon, he was already very much aware of the many plans that the Ancient Council of Felines had for the lions. This included the methods to turn someone into an Avatar.

Chen had done his research and he didn’t pick the Law of The Foreign for any other reason other than it was quite low key.

The requirement to become the Avatar of some Laws always differed. The method to turn Gabriel into an Avatar was completely different from what Seth had used to turn Chen into an Avatar.

Chen had it simple, he just exposed Chen to the existence beyond the Outerverse where Foreign Essence was most common, allowing the conditioned tiger to navigate his way to what Seth had already programmed into his mind.

Through the eyes of Chen, Seth had seen many things that he could not quite explain up till now. And that was a serious matter since Seth had actually seen a lot of things.

He was able to create a clear image of any law manifestation in his mind with utter clarity. There was almost nothing too complex for him not to understand.

Almost...

The things Chen saw beyond the Outerverse were not just unfathomable, they were just...wrong.

Seth hardly thought about them though. Those were not his priorities. What mattered was the progression of his plan which he didn’t even know the end of.

Until today.

When Kael poured such a vast amount of energy into him, Seth realized something.

Kael, the All-King, had seriously underestimated his capabilities, and Seth took advantage of it.
