Chapter 947: Chapter 947: Seth’s Ultimate Goal

Kael, hovering in his humanoid form with his fists by his side and his knuckles drenched in insect fluids.

His eyes narrowed as he backed away from Seth, his golden hair flowing casually in the harsh wind.

He flattened his palm and swiped at the space in front of him.

Immediately, laws manifested and converged on the spot, forming a deep, dark, and sharp arch that cut forward with a width of several thousand kilometers.

The sharp arch slashed cleanly into the distance, destroying countless ants that were rushing at them and clearing a path.

Kael observed this path with a scrutinized gaze as he lowered his hand. He did not move forward to take advantage of the clear path, nor did Seth.

They were so close now.

Kael sighed and flexed his shoulders. He flexed his fingers, his wrists, his ankles, his tail, and his neck.

Was he tired? Physically? No. Mentally? A little.

They had been here for two years plus now.

Two years.

And Seth had not finished constructing the Freedom Formula required to push a god out of this Myriad Heaven.

Kael also couldn’t complain. He too could not do what Seth was doing.

Well, technically, he could but he would need the Primordial Rat, the subordinate with the Law of Freedom, to do a lot of things.

And unfortunately, the Primordial Rat was not strong enough to create the level of Freedom Formula required for Kael to also reflect the insane ability.

Even if he didn’t want the Primordial Rat to do anything, Kael could still create the Freedom Formula as he had done at Original Heaven.

Except that time, he was transporting himself and several million lions as well as fifteen thousand immortals, and he had serious help from the newly made Alphaverse at that time to envelop everything.

Wait...

Kael suddenly thought of something as his eyes narrowed down to slits.

He turned back and ignored the vast horde of ants still clashing with the various uncountable slimes as well as the closing path.

All that did not matter now as Kael had reached a frightening conclusion. He looked at Seth’s back.

The back was not as strong or as powerful as his. Not that it mattered anyway, muscular structure did not determine the depth of power for people of their caliber.

What Kael was looking at was the connection node inside Seth, the connection node that was supposed to lead to the clone on the other side.

And this time, Kael did not try to hide his gaze. He looked in directly with an intensity that surely alerted Seth.

His senses bored into Seth’s body despite the layers of defense he had and he was able to look into the connection node.

And Kael saw it again, the thing on the other side of that node. It wasn’t another Seth.

It was Chen, the supposed leader of the Tiger Civilization.

But here he was, in a mysterious space, emitting the aura of a law that Kale couldn’t describe yet.

But Kael did not just linger his gaze on Seth or the mysterious Chen. His gaze went deep and he operated faster.

Within a few milliseconds, he scanned everything he could and extracted as much information as he was allowed to.

Then suddenly, his vision was cut off as Seth shrugged his shoulders.

Seth still had his hands in front of himself, fingers spread out in a cupping motion as he held the still manifesting Freedom Formula.

It was no longer a transparent blurb of power, now it was tangible, with weight, mass, and a whole lot of force contained within.

All the strings and dashes that could be seen on the surface were the intricate patterns the Freedom Essence had to be in for the Formula to even exist.

But there was something very odd about what was happening right now.

Kael, having his vision cut off, frowned and his gaze grew terrifyingly cold. He looked at Seth as though he were looking at dead meat.

"I see what you did now," Kael said, his voice painfully deep and intimidating. Even though Seth was now at a higher level, he still couldn’t help but feel a chill down his spine.

The All-King had finally noticed.

Seth steeled his face and shrugged his shoulders, "I did what you would have done," He said.

Kael smiled. But the smile wasn’t really a smile, more like a mask that he used to express the sheer amount of malicious intent he now held within.

"Of course..." Kael said, then snapped his fingers. Immediately, the consistent inflow of energy into Seth was cut off and Seth was left with his own direct power reserves.

Feeling this, Seth did not panic, with the Freedom Formula still in his hand, he turned around and looked at Kael.

Those golden eyes held absolute killing intent within and it was clear that Kale wished to kill him.

But Kael was also looking at the Formula in Seth’s hand. This was something he had thought of possibly happening, but since the possibility was so low, he never actually thought of what he would do if it actually happened.

This was an extreme case.

"You can’t expect to be the only one to survive and thrive now, can you?" Seth asked with a smile on his face. His two glowing white eyes scanned the All-King properly.

"You don’t scare me anymore, Kael," Seth said, implying that he actually used to be scared of Kael before.

"...And there’s nothing you can do about it anymore," Seth finished as he held up the formula in his hand.

Kael frowned. Seth was already taking action to finalize what he had been doing all this time. He had to move fast.

Allow Change to escape? Or allow a potential enemy to go free?

Not after Kael’s first experience.

He would rather that none of them escaped at all.

Meanwhile, behind Kael, more ants were piling over. Some of them could fly and had bloated out the skies. Others had to crawl and they did it very fast.

They left behind storms of dust as they rushed over the soil, hoping to get to Kael and Seth first.

The slimes that had been given the order to protect them were not standing idle either. They swarmed in from both sides like the collapse of the Red Sea, crushing as many ants as possible.

This was how it had been for a while. The ants were clawing and gnawing on the mucus-like body of the slimes and the slimes were taking different forms that would allow them to fight against the ants.

And although many slimes were surrounding Kael and Seth, some ants still reached them once in a while which explained why Kael had to act out to eliminate some of them.

Alas...

Suddenly, Kael’s hands formed claws as the Law of Connection lined his fingers. He turned into a beam of light, rushing toward Seth with his hands positioned for a fatal attack.

Seth saw this but to him, Kael’s movements were still very fast. He didn’t have time to gloat about his inevitable victory since it was clear Kael would now tarnish his own plans just to make sure his enemies did not succeed.

At least, what Seth was doing was succeeding to the extreme, and Kael could not allow that.

And for that same reason, Seth had no choice.

With the Formula in his hand and Kael coming at him at blinding speed, Seth resolved his heart. He was finally here, at the position where he wanted everything to be.

It was time the world understood his own ambition.

It was time everyone knew what kind of person he truly was.

Seth released his grip on the Freedom Formula, allowing it to expand to vast proportions in the blink of an eye.

The Freedom Formula itself was meant to be an ethereal object, even though it had mass. It was meant to be like gas, easily passed through.

And Kael had been flying straight toward Seth at full speed. Technically, he should have passed through the expanding freedom formula and slammed straight into Seth.

But that was not what happened.

*BAM!*

Kael slammed into a hard surface, bouncing back and into the ground, leaving a long fissure as his body dug through the ground.

At the same time, the Freedom Formula continued expanding, becoming bigger and bigger. And as it did, many things became clear.

That thing, it wasn’t just a Freedom Formula, Kael concluded as he stomped out of the crater and looked at the rapidly growing mass of energy.

The Freedom Formula was just the cover, the blanket used to hide the main thing. And it could be seen how Seth was smiling right now that he had indeed succeeded in doing what he wanted to do.

Kael saw everything for what it was now. With Seth no longer using the Freedom Formula and Foreign Essence to mask the aura, he saw what Seth had hidden within it.

The Formula was always the main plan, but what Kael saw was just the ultimate goal.

An Alphaverse.

Seth had created and hidden an Alphaverse within the Freedom Formula.
