Chapter 959: Chapter 959: Welcome To Grave Heaven

It could be said that Kael’s Alphaverse had seriously expanded ever since they started their frantic campaign to invade the other heavens.

Realms like the Hive Heaven or the Draconic Heaven, which was now known as the Howl Heaven, were just the start.

Not to mention that Kael, with the help of King Alexander, was able to conquer the Soul Heaven with such efficiency.

Besides that, there have been many more advances from the forces of Kael to swallow up the main universe in whatever way they could.

As it stood, the lions of Royal Heaven were indefinitely divided into three different sides.

The first side was the lions and kings who were usually reserve forces of all lions, the well-protected and well-guarded Royal Heaven.

These lions were just as fierce as the others but for whatever reason best known to them, they were in the Royal Heaven.

Some of them were resting or recovering from an injury they sustained during battle.

Some were just busy with mating rituals or the act of reproducing the next generation of lions and lionesses.

And there were still a few who were just sitting back to manage the administrative process of their clans. Hardly would it be found that a lion was just there doing nothing.

The second side of lions during this era were those that were out and about actively managing their assets and territory.

Because the Lion Hegemony was literally a civilization of kings, it was unsafe and unwise for Kael himself to claim the territory.

Being the King of all these Kings was more than enough, and he had the system which was the true source of control.

Territory was split by the lions based on ability and competence, at least that was the sweet part.

Most territories or assets that any clan had under its possession were taken by force. Most.

Even with exchange systems and a well-placed monetary system, some things couldn’t be traded to the level of civilized agreement.

Most lion clans and their kings were just not willing to sell their territory. They were kings, having territory was their whole thing.

So, they had to be in their field to actively manage the activities and defend it from other lions who were looking for stepping stones.

Most of these territory management lines and lionesses were in the New Mortalverse of the Alphaverse, looking over planets and the newly formed galaxy.

They oversaw the production of resources and the occupancy of planets with an iron fist. Their arkships were positioned in different areas of the New Mortalverse and their shuttles patrolled the orbits of different habitable worlds.

Millions of worlds quaked at this time under the tyranny of the lions. Creatures were beaten into submission either by their fellow race members or by their lion overlords.

Alas, all is well when it comes to the lions. As bleak as it may be, these groups of lions who were focusing on territorial management were keeping a lot of systems running.

They knew what their territories needed and were constantly posting missions and giving out orders. They were like the heart of the Hegemony in an anatomical sense.

The main reason resources kept on flowing was because they pumped it in and out through tributes and resource requests.

That left the last side of the Lion Hegemony during this era, those that were constantly found at the border of the Alphaverse.

It couldn’t exactly be considered a border but these lions were part of the group that was so focused on expanding and invading other heavenly realms.

They were the ones that received the most action and had their highest demographic death rate in the entire hegemony, but they were also responsible for a lot of progress going on.

The invasion campaign was where most of the resources were being poured.

And with all those resources, the kings and their subjects waged a never-ending war for dominance with the main universe, fighting, killing, and destroying in the name of their lionhood and the All-King.

Kael stepped out of the tunnel of folded space and immediately, his surroundings screamed with golden joy.

Looking around, Kael ignored the hundreds of golden screens that appeared around his body and looked at where he was.

The sky here was a mixture of dark brown, black, and grey. Crimson lightning sparked here and there, snaking through the dark clouds and illuminating the grim world.

Down below was a vast expanse of land that reminded the All-King of the Myriad Heavenly Realm.

The Myriad Heavenly realm had the same vast piece of land which was different from Royal Heaven or Howl Heaven, which was made up of many floating continents.

This place that Kael had come to was just like Myriad Heaven, a vast sky above and a vast land below.

What made this world unique wasn’t just the chaotic sky brimming with crimson lightning or the vast land below, it was the objects that dotted the land.

Tombstones.

All manner, all sizes, and all variations of tombstones were set up on the land, rising from the ground and projecting a deathly aura in all directions.

Kael’s body floated down from the sky as Death Essence began to circulate around him. The distant cries of vultures as well as other creatures filled his ears.

In the distant horizon, multiple giant winged figures circled the sky.

Kael had not hidden his aura so everyone with a bit of common sense in this deathly world would know sooner or later that the All-King arrived.

But Kael did not come here for pleasantries or to be worshiped, he came here to take action.

He came here to prepare the forces needed to combat the rising threat of Seth while he focused on getting stronger and resisting the Highest Will with his other plans.

Amongst the many screens that resided around him, one of them hardly moved, even as his foot touched the loose ground and he stood next to a tall tombstone.

On that particular screen, a little string of words shone on the side of Kael’s face.
