This galaxy has already been stripped of anything it could offer and no longer harbours any form of life anywhere.

All the planets that were here were those that were too barren or useless to be taken away and the few stars that were here were those that had been calculated to die off within the next one thousand years.

There was no point in taking these assets due to their inherent instability and unpredictability at any moment.

The tendency for them to become liabilities in the near future outweighed any resources that could be extracted from them.

Besides, for a vast cosmic civilization like the Lion Hegemony, a few barren planets and dying stars were not that appealing anymore.

They could afford to let it go.

One of these barren planets, a small spherical rock filled with stony rocks and glass that was a byproduct of the sand melting.

The sands had melted into jagged layers of rough glass because they were close to a dying star that was currently expanding outward, increasing and shedding more radiation to all objects nearby.

This planet did not even have a good atmosphere, let alone a good ozone layer that could be used to protect the surface from the burning cancerous heat.

Suddenly, under the crimson light of the dying star above, a Dimensional System Portal opened up on the surface of the planet.

The portal was round, eight feet tall and wide. The edges, looking like shattered glass compressed into a transparent rope, twisted the space around it.

The portal flashed, allowing a glimpse of the other side to be visible, a dark chaotic world filled with graves.

A foot phased out of the portal and a tall lanky man with pale skin stepped out of the portal completely.

He was bald, tall, and clad in dark robes. His pitch-black eyes scanned his surroundings with a casual gaze, searching for life.

When he saw that there was none, he nodded.

Marcus flicked his fingers as he continued to walk forward. In response to the flicking of his fingers, a few more figures rushed out of the portal behind him.

All of them tall and slender, each being at least six feet tall. Their noses were usually crooked with a few possessing some other variations.

None of them had pale skin like Marcus though, and they all looked different, showing that the genetic diversity was very prevalent in their race.

As they poured out from the portal, it was revealed that more than a thousand had now set foot on this barren planet.

By the time these humanoids stopped passing through and by the time the portal closed shut, there were ten thousand of them.

All were vultures in human form.

"There it is," Marcus said, standing in front of the robed army with his healthy but pale finger pointed at a distance.

His gaze ignored the light of the dying star above them and focused through the Warp Effect, locking down on a single point in space and time.

There, at the end of his distant gaze was a singular white dot. A sphere if one looked closer, a massive sphere that seemed to be getting bigger and bigger.

"An Alphaverse that does not belong to the All-King," Marcus added, his voice chillingly hostile as he narrowed and widened his eyes.

He had received all the information he needed to have from the All-King’s mouth and understood what he was seeing.

Any Alphaverse that did not belong to the All-King was a universe that did not, should not, and must not be allowed to exist.

It must be dealt with.

Marcus brought down his hand while keeping his gaze on the white dot. Others behind him, the robed army, all looked in the same direction as well.

That white dot was Seth’s Alphaverse, the one that he had created using the energy of the All-King.

The All-King had created his own Alphaverse in the Original Heaven and released it fully in Leonine Heaven, so no one ever truly saw how big it was because it was immediately integrated into the heavenverse for conquest.

Seth’s own Alphaverse was created in the Myriad Heaven and was banished away by the Slime God to the mortalverse.

There was no dimensional foundation for Seth’s Alphaverse right now, which was why they could all see it as a massive expanding sphere of white energy.

That was an Alphaverse in its rawest form.

Right now, although Seth had this Alphaverse, it was not yet as powerful or as mature as Kael’s. It was still ripe for attack.

"The All-King said that the entrance into the Alphaverse is sealed, but there should still be ways to enter.

The All-King will guide and support himself!"

As Marcus spoke, his black eyes reflected a clean golden flash that came and went almost immediately.

"One immortal per group, split up," Marcus barked as he straightened his spine.

The robed army behind him began to move as well. They shifted their feet or floated off the ground, sending telepathic messages as they found their respective groups.

There were at least ten individuals in each group, which meant that there was one immortal in each group also. This also meant that there had to be at least one thousand immortals in this army.

One hundred groups in total.

This was a significant force anywhere in the universe. Marcus was at the Mid-Level Immortal Tier and there were a few other vultures who were also like him.

And this was also a very special group of vultures too. An army personally trained and managed by the Primordial Vulture.

The Grave Keepers.

None of them was an ordinary vulture at all as they had all been blessed by the power of death.

Marcus did not say anything else, sensing that they had all found their groups, twisted his neck.

As his body reformed, a black glass appeared out of nowhere and surrounded his body. It soon dissipated, leaving behind the figure of a massive pale-headed vulture.

Letting out a loud bird cry, Marcus spread out his death ensnared wings, allowing his black feathers to soak up the warmth of the red dying star.

Then, he flapped those massive and powerful wings, charging like a black bolt toward the sky and leading the start of the first small-scale Multiversal War.
