At the edge of the arkship fleet, this one particular arkship drifted slightly from the set path, its hull curving further and further away from the main fleet by several hundred meters every second.

The Luthor Patriarch's feet landed softly on the hull of the silver colored disc shaped arkship. His mass alone was enough to stop the arkship from drifting as it was.

From the place he stood, the Luthor Patriarch could see the gaping hole at the center of the arkship. Whatever had done this had pierced cleanly through the metal plating and cut through various chamber worlds within the arkship, including the Command Chamber.

Through this massive gap, both Zayna who was hovering behind the Patriarch, and the Patriarch himself, could see the various bodies of the dead cats floating around.

Among these cats, one was slightly larger, with a lot of fur, and had remnants of an earthly aura. The aura depicted that the cat was at least tier 6.

His body had survived the damage but his organs were now all turned to mush.

The Luthor Patriarch used his powers to scan the minds of all the dead cats at once.

"What did this?" Zayna asked as she looked around. She checked properly but couldn't find any traces of what had done this.

The only reason they even knew an ambush had occurred was because of the explosion that had occurred not long ago.

She could only look to the Patriarch for answers as she waited for him to finish scouring the dead minds of the cats.

"Hmm," The Patriarch's glowing blue eyes dimmed as he stopped searching their minds. Plastered on his face was a calm expression but his eyes were very cold and held a dense killing intent.

"Has that golden lion become so bold? Even sending his stupid birds to disturb us now!" The Patriarch thundered.

Before Zayna could ask, he sent her the image of what he saw in their minds.

The leaders of this arkship crew, the tier 6 cat with an earthly aura, had been standing inside the command chamber when it happened and had also been staring at the holographic screen.

That holographic screen had captured the image of the entity that had done this right before it happened.

It was a bird, a really large bird with wings wide enough to cover continents. Its head and neck were featherless, colored in black with a few glimpses of silver.

The feathers of this bird, those that it had, were all metallic-looking, with each having extremely sharp edges.

The holographic screen had captured the face of the large bird. A face that was fierce and ghostly, with blue eyes filled with a hunger for action.

The bird, obviously a vulture, had used its bare body to pierce the arkship almost immediately as soon as it appeared.

Where did it come from? Where did it go? How could something so big appear and do so much damage without anyone noticing it?

"An immortal," Zayna muttered, her black eyelids half closed as she thought to herself, "and an unfamiliar one at that. The All-King seems to have more immortals to spare since the last time we clashed with him."

The Luthor Patriarch didn't answer or respond or add his own opinion. His spiritual power surged gloriously from his body and his eyes lit up again.

His ears, the six odd ears that had always rested on his head, finally shivered and twitched.

His feet were lifted off the ground as he took a battle-ready stance. Those six ears of his flapped elegantly on his head, sending out an ethereal expression of his power and sucking in any signal.

How powerful were these ears?

The Luthor Patriarch barely started listening when his head snapped to one direction and his eyes flared with rage.

"There!" He shouted and dashed away, turning into a blue beam of light that streaked down the side of the still expanding fleet.

Just two seconds. That was all it took for him to find an immortal that was intentionally hiding from the senses of Supreme Level Immortals.

Zayna followed almost instantly, her eyes glowing with a bright yellow light as yellow glyphs began to shape up on her arms.

"INSOLENT!" The Luthor Patriarch thundered as he suddenly stopped, his power did not stop though. It rolled forward in the form of a blue spirit energy tsunami that washed over thousands of arkships in that instant.

Suddenly, out of a spatial fold, a crack was heard. Seriously, a crack was actually heard in the void of space where there was not supposed to be any sound.

It was a sound that was propagated spiritually and could only be heard by the souls.

It was the sound of someone's mind being crushed under the absolute might of a supreme entity like the Luthor Patriarch.

Then, there was a loud telepathic screech as a massive continental-sized bird flew out of a spatial crack. It was the same bird, the vulture that the Patriarch had seen in the minds of those dead cats.

The vulture, having been discovered so easily, panicked. In front of two supreme-level immortals who were clearly angry, anyone would panic.

The vulture shrieked, flapping his massive wings and shooting a barrage of gigantic metal feathers in every direction.

Those feathers naturally stopped before they could hit the Patriarch of Zayna who had just arrived.

But the rest skewed through the surrounding arkships easily. All of a sudden, thousands of arkships saw their hulls breached by sharp and gigantic metal feathers.

A lot of cats did not survive this frantic attack.

Seeing that his attack had no effect on the Patriarch or Zayna, the vulture attempted to flap his wings again and use the Warp Effect to fly away.

Unfortunately, he was in the presence of the worst kind of enemies.

*SHING!"

A golden flash cut through the dark canvas of the world, splitting the vulture from head to toe.

Zayna appeared at the tip of the tail feather of the vulture, her right arm was encased in a cast of sand taking the form of an arm blade.

She brought the arm down to her side and flexed her shoulder while easing her cold expression.

A mid-level Immortal had just died by her hand with a single move. She didn't even look stressed, just annoyed.

Meanwhile, the body of the massive vulture had been split in two from head to tail feather. The two sides were starting to drift away from each other, leaving a bloody mess and a patch of sticky red strings in between the both of them.

"Hmm," The Luthor Patriarch who had observed all this suddenly snapped his head in one direction.

But it was too late.

A series of explosions rocked the telepathic channel, multiple attacks. It wasn't an ambush, it was a full-on continuation of a war that was not finished.

And the felines were not ready at all.

All this, every single second, was observed by Seth.
