Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World

Chapter 970 - 690: I WILL DESTROY YOU!

While Marcus watched Seth's father and Zayna rush toward the Alphaverse, he communicated with the rest of the Grave Keepers.

For reasons best known to the Vultures, they had stopped attacking. The Undead Carrion Beetles had stopped flying after the cat fleets and just floated with blank expressions in the void.

Meanwhile, there were a few arkships that had been attacked by the Vultures but had not been destroyed at all.

These arkships were inconspicuous, as the pilots and crew members probably thought that they were lucky to escape the undead insect swarm.

Little did they know that they had been infected.

In the heat of the moment, when everyone was so focused on running to gain cover behind the barrier of an Alphaverse, no one bothered to check everyone properly and everything that was entering.

And so, soon enough, Marcus was left floating in space with his wings slightly tucked close to him and an army of undead Carrion Beetles behind him.

Ahead, he watched the enemies flee, but he did not feel ashamed; nor did he feel dejected.

The cats were not the main targets originally. When Kael sent them here, they all knew of the possibility of Seth not yet meeting with the rest of the Feline Assembly.

But since they did and the Feline was here to completely integrate with Seth's new power space, they adjusted their plans and took advantage of it.

The original plan was to bombard Seth's Alphaverse barrier with swarms of undead beetles. It was blunt and sounded stupid, but the Grave Keepers were not stupid.

If they chose to blast the walls of an Alphaverse, it was because they had the backing of the Law of Death as well as the absolutely unstoppable Law of Conquering.

That method would have cost them a lot of their undead assets, but it was all for the sake of the All-King, so it didn't matter.

They had achieved what they wanted anyway.

"For The Conquering!" Marcus chanted telepathically as he turned around and looked on as his undead army parted ways for him.

He saw the rest of the grave Keepers, every single one of them possessing a particular golden luster in their eyes.

The Golden Luster did not just linger for a few seconds. No, it stayed, showing clearly that there was a very dominant pressure positioned behind their gaze.

The All-King was here, the omnipotent and the omnipresent; his will be done.

Marcus felt his heart shudder from a mixture of fear and excitement. His fear of the All-King had reached extremes.

In his eyes, the reason why he could fight and survive the presence of two Supreme Level Immortals was not by his own power but because of the careful and strategic placement by the All-King.

All that he had today was because of the might of the All-King, and if he could fight anything today, it was by the All-King's will that he survived such battles.

Wasn't that omnipotent? Wasn't that omnipresence in action?

*...*

There was no sound, but everyone suddenly felt a powerful wave wash through their body.

Marcus's eyes widened as he looked up. There was no true direction in the emptiness of space, so when he looked up, he might as well be considered as looking forward.

All that didn't matter because what he saw was absolutely shocking.

"Hahahahahaaaaaa!" A loud telepathic wave of laughter drummed into the minds of all beings present. Even the cats that had finally retreated to the safety of Seth's Alphaverse were not spared.

Their brains rang with confusion as many could no longer tell if they were alive or dead, even though they were conscious.

Within the massive and seemingly infinite Alphaverse, Seth had been standing at the center of it all. His Alphaverse was quite large, so it would take a while for his father and the rest of the cat fleet to reach him.

However, he too heard that maniacal laughter and sought to lower his head instinctively. It was an instinctive reaction that occurred due to trauma.

Yes, Seth was indeed traumatized, and even he had not known it.

He recognized that laughter, that voice. He recognized it everywhere.

The Mad God.

"No…" Seth's eyes flashed with light and the images of that day surfaced in his mind. The sight of an entire realm being turned upside down after a single punch shook the core of his being.

He remembered seeing that mind-racking scene and wondering how that was even physically possible.

"We're going!" Seth announced. His words were sent directly into the minds of all who were inside his universe.

Instantly, the entrance to the Alphaverse closed off, sealing them all from the outside world.

"Wait! The rest of the fleet has not arrived!" The Luthor Patriarch shouted as he left Zayna's side and rushed to his son, the center of the universe.

The fleet was not yet completed. The cats had three Supreme Level Immortals; one was still missing, and there were also the other Feline races that were in alliance with them. Those had not yet arrived.

But Seth ignored his father; he, on his own, knew that the fear of the Mad God was the beginning of wisdom, and so he acted.

Outside the Alphaverse, Marcus and his Grave Keepers were the ones to see an absurd sight.

The universe, the known universe, space and time, the stars and planets, and everything that was to make sense stopped making sense as though someone had ruthlessly ripped the script from the books.

Reality was turned inside out as a massive slime fist dove through the Gap and flew directly over the shimmering white Alphaverse.

Seth had not even started moving, but he was directly in line with a heaven-shattering force.

Fortunately for him, the attack was not aimed at him.

"Get out of there, NOW!" The voice of the All-King shook the hearts of the Grave Keepers as a loud tearing sound intensified.

"I SHALL DRAIN THIS ETERNITY FOR YOU, CHANGE!" The many voices of Order, the Ant God, echoed from every impossible angle.

"I WILL DESTROY YOU!"

*BAM!*

The cosmos crumbled.
