Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World

Chapter 971: The All-King May Not Know

Royal Heaven.

At the center of the Heavenly Realm, the All-King sat in his humanoid form on his Crystal Throne, wearing a little smirk on his face.

He alone was dominant in this world; it was the Law of reality here.

But then, the look in Kael's eyes flashed back to a mild state of confusion as the smile on his face disappeared, replaced by a calculating pursing of the lips.

A powerful telepathic wave escaped Kael's mind and surged into the void, traversing the Gap to reach their targets.

The images flashed in his eyes.

The brows of the All-King became furrowed as he instinctively leaned forward.

Suddenly, the area around him began to curve as space and time bent slightly to the changes of Kael's internal state.

The All-King did not bother to try and set himself upright; there was no need. If reality had to bend for him to be comfortable, let it.

"Your Majesty?" The voice of a calm man with a peculiar accent reached Kael's ears.

Kael didn't snap out of his focus on what was happening in the mortalverse; he continued using the Law of Observation to see what was happening right before the Slime God and the Ant God clashed, and everything went blank.

Only then did Kael turn his head to see the person that was talking to him.

Blues.

Blue hair, blue clothes, with his hands kept behind his back. His blue eyes stared at Kael's feet, not able to share equal gaze with his master.

"What is it?" Kael asked, his voice rolling softly into the world.

Blues stood there calmly with his head aimed lower than usual. He had just arrived, and although it had seemed as if the All-King did not know he was there until he spoke up, he knew that was a lie.

"Your Majesty, another Heavenly Realm has been fully conquered, and the others are seeking your guidance on who will occupy it," Blues stated.

He was merely putting into words what was happening in the outside world.

"Oh," Kael looked up, thinking to himself, "It should be given to the Porcupine and named…Bank Heaven, obviously…"

It is such an obvious name.

"Yes, Your Majesty," Blues nodded and was already communicating with the rest of the League through the system to tell them what to do.

Just like that, a whole Heavenly Realm, and the Law of Banking that literally influenced the lives of countless mortals, was compartmentalized and put aside as though it was just one piece in a massive puzzle.

"Your Majesty, there are a few other developments that I fear you may not be aware of as of now," Blues added as his eyes cleared and he looked at his master again.

"Name then," Kael then questioned, considering the possibility that he might not know some things, and it happened. Others may think he was omnipotent, but Blues, who received power directly from the All-King, knew otherwise.

The All-King was just unbelievably strong, and there were indeed things that could evade his notice, especially if he wasn't even looking.

"The new Primordial Dragon of Destruction has been born, Your Majesty," Blues said. That was indeed news that Kael definitely should know about almost immediately, though

"Why didn't I notice it?" Kael asked as he immediately began searching, spreading his senses into the New Mortalverse.

"I'm not sure as well, Your Majesty. But I didn't receive the news as well; I only got to find out after the information was brought to me by George," Blues said.

"George?" Kael tilted his head.

"Yes, Your Majesty. He told me and went ahead to the New Mortalverse by himself to observe," Blues stated.

"How did he know when I didn't?" Kael wondered out loud.

Blues shook his head. "Well, he didn't tell me about that, Your Majesty. He just told me that the Primordial Dragon had been born, and that he was going to check it out. Knowing George, he probably knew that I was going to deliver this information to you, and I am not sure why he could not have told you by himself.

How he knows this is left unknown to me."

"Have you told anyone else about it?" Kael asked.

"No, Your Majesty," Blues responded to Kael's satisfaction.

"Very good then, attend to Marcus, tell him to meet me at the place…" Kael's words faded into the air as he was gone, disappearing before anything could be confirmed.

Blues was left standing there with his blue eyes filled with confusion. He looked around; the throne was empty, and he was the only one in the throne hall.

What did the All-King mean by him attending to Marcus? Marcus was not here.

Blues didn't need to think too much, though, as a portal appeared in front of him. A portal to Grave Heaven.

Almost instantly, someone rushed out. It was Marcus, now in his humanoid form.

Marcus left a black streak behind him as he dashed out of the Portal and landed in front of Blues.

Blues now wore a calm expression on his face with his hands still behind his back, and his gaze kept firmly on the Primordial Vulture.

"Greetings, Marcus, how…" Blues was saying.

"Where is the All-King?" Marcus asked, his black eyes hammered at Blues' soul, and his hands were shaking.

Blues frowned; Marcus looked flustered, like he had just seen a ghost. His eyes shook as though they had witnessed something he could not comprehend.

This was unlike Marcus. Simply being around Kael, there should be a natural immunity to most surprises. What could Marcus have seen to make him this flustered?

"Stand calm, Marcus; you don't look well," Blues said as he scanned Marcus' body to the best of his ability. There were no injuries. That meant the blow was to his mind.

"You don't understand, I need to see the All-King," Marcus's expression went sour. He wanted to see the All-King, not his dog.

"He's waiting for you on Planet Imperious One; he said you should meet him there," Blues said.

Marcus didn't even wait to thank Blues; he immediately turned into a black streak of light and flew into another portal that appeared soon after.
