The New Mortalverse of Kael's Alphaverse.
The Destruction Dragons, after they had been rescued from the genocidal pursuit of the Creation Dragons, had been kept in the New Mortalverse.
The Hegemony always had a use for all the creatures that were in their sphere of control, and the Destruction Dragons were among them. Just because they no longer had a Primordial or a Heavenly Realm did not mean that the Destruction Dragons were suddenly useless.
They just needed to be brought back up to their former strengths with the lions at the absolute helm of control.
This would be the first time in history that the Lion Race would be taken over the entire race of Destruction Dragons in such a manner.
And they did a pretty good job at it too.
Even though their numbers had originally been ground down brutally by the Creation Dragon Empire, the Destruction Dragons have recovered both their population and their strength.
During the time of Ibadon, Ibadon was the only Immortal in the entire empire, and he was even one of the strongest immortals ever in the whole universe; all the other Destruction Dragons were tier 7 at most.
Now, with the support of the Bees and their True Honey, the strongest Destruction Dragons were Immortals.
There were at least a couple hundred Destruction Dragons in the Low Level Immortal Tier.
However, even with all these changes in their status, the Dragons were still not allowed to hold power. Their heaven was taken away from them and renamed Howl Heaven in favor of the wolves; they did not have any Primordial to join the League and speak on their behalf, and they were seriously monitored by the lions.
They had to be monitored. This was a race that was naturally drawn to the concept of destruction the same way lions were drawn to tyranny and conquest. If care was not taken, they could cause a lot of trouble, like the Primordial Badger.
Because of this, the Destruction Dragons were restricted to inhabit a particular artificially set galaxy in the New Mortalverse.
The Galaxy was named the Annihilation Galaxy, in honor of the dragons and what their new Heaven will be named in the future.
Inside this Galaxy, there was a star sector known as the Imperium Star Sector, and it held the current political seat of the Destruction Dragons.
That particular star sector also had thousands of star systems within it. Among them was the Imperious Star System, a very special star system amongst the many others.
The fifth planet closest to the Star was known as Imperious One, as it was the furthest planet amongst the others and was usually the first celestial object that most visitors would encounter when coming here.
The Planet, Imperious One was a very special kind of planet in the Annihilation Galaxy.
It was a nest planet, a world dedicated to the nurturing and birth of the next generation of dragons.
The Dragons were a race that laid eggs to produce their young. It meant that they didn't need to be pregnant for way too long or hamper their physical combat ability.
In the old days, when the Creation Dragons and Destruction Dragons were still rising, the parents of newborn dragons had to guard the eggs and protect them at all times until the dragonling hatched or was able to fend for itself.
In the modern dragon age, that function had been outsourced in the form of Nest Worlds or continents. Not just the dragons; any lifeform that laid eggs but was advanced enough would eventually reach this stage.
Almost all birds, including the Vultures, had their own set of Nest Worlds and Continents.
This Imperious One was just one of the many, but today, it was going to be the center of attention for all creatures in the Hegemony.
*WHOMP!*
Space twisted and churned out a humanoid figure. A muscular man with blind hair, two lion ears by the side of his head, a long lion tail swerving behind him, and a glorious halo of power behind him.
He was large, in terms of build specifically. He stood above with a height that approached eight feet, and the way his eyes stared down was simply fear-inducing.
With his powerful arms beside him, hands folded into fists, and his two legs out together, the All-King casually descended from the void down to Imperious One.
The transition from the cold void to the slightly warmer atmosphere of the nest planet affected Kael minimally. Voices and tiny roars disturbed the peace in his ears, and his stern eyes became more narrowed and intense.
His descent was like the arrival of a god as the world felt it and physically began to tremble.
The lower he got, the more the clouds began to gather until he had reached a point where clouds that stretched over the sky for many kilometers spiraled around his body.
Kael's clothes and hair fluttered furiously, supporting his absolutely dominating aura. The winds started to sing, literally.
The hums sounded like the chant of a million suffering Buddhas exalting the might of the King of Kings.
Kael's body pierced down from the sky and dropped straight down to the land, stomping unapologetically onto the world he had given them.
*BOOM!*
The wind was dispersed, and the earth trembled terribly. The damage was nearly minimal, showing that the All-King had full control over this dramatic entrance, but he let everyone with the slightest bit of awareness know that he had arrived.
With a simple thought from him, the wind was dispersed, and the land calmed.
His senses covered the entire planet and beyond, searching and instantly finding his targets.
But Kael did not go to them; why should he?
The All-King snapped his fingers.
He thought, therefore it existed.
He willed, and so it happened.
With a casual nudge from Kael's mind, a full Dragon's Nest was pulled from one random corner of the world and magically appeared in front of Kael.
A nest so big that it could be likened to a human mortal city.
"George?" Was the first word that left the mouth of Kael.
