Seth's Alphaverse, wherever it may be.

The Luthor Patriarch had his hands behind his back, watching the trail of arkships and arkworlds fly into the Alphaverse from the shimmering barrier.

His blue eyes were narrowed, and his mind remained a mystery.

Currently, he is overseeing the retrieval of the rest of the Feline Assembly into Seth's Alphaverse.

Two months ago, the first migrating fleet of cats was attacked by vultures, and many of them lost their lives.

Luckily, Seth had opened the entrance at the right time just before the Luthor Patriarch had run back to save Zayna.

Unfortunately for the cats, many had also been caught in the shockwave's blast radius from the clash between the Slime God and the Ant God.

Almost nothing that was still outside in that split second had survived. The only ones who did were Zayna, the Luthor Patriarch, and the cats that had managed to fly into the safety of Seth's Alphaverse.

The Luthor Patriarch had rushed back to rescue Zayna, and both of them had been caught in the blast right before they reached the Alphaverse. Thankfully, they were Supreme Level Immortals, and they could easily shrug off that kind of hit.

They made it to Seth's Alphaverse safely, where they began to recoup and plan their next course of action.

It came as a welcome surprise how durable the barrier that protected Seth's Alphaverse was.

Even though it was made up of a combination of Freedom Essence and some other Law Essence, the Luthor Patriarch wondered where his son had managed to get so much energy to spare in the first place.

Knowing how to create an Alphaverse was one part; having the energy to do it was the major work.

Now, after two months, Seth's Alphaverse and the inhabitants on the inside are reuniting with the rest of the Feline Assembly.

The Luthor Patriarch, however, was not the least bit excited. Not at all.

As he floated there, with his two arms behind his back and his two legs out together, his furry cat tail swished quietly behind him.

The light of the shimmering barrier illuminated the left part of his whole body, leaving the right part dark, giving him an ominous look.

Although his ghostly blue eyes stared at the long and insanely lengthy procession of arkships and arkworlds flying through the massive star-sized glowing entrance, his mind was elsewhere.

'I had to beg him…' The Luthor Patriarch said to himself. He had been repeating that sentence to himself for a few outs now, and every single time it made his blood boil.

He had to beg him; he had to beg Seth. He had to beg his own son.

Behind his back, the Luthor Patriarch squeezed his fist so tight that diamonds would have been turned to fine powder in his grasp.

He literally had to beg Seth for him to open up the Alphaverse for the rest of the Feline Assembly.

It was preposterous. Seth was actually willing to look away as the main universe went to shit while the rest of his former allies died one after the other.

Had he forgotten who had his back when he was doing all his things?

The Luthor Patriarch was angry. He wasn't angry at Seth; he couldn't be.

The Luthor Patriarch, like any self-respecting entity that understood how power works, knew that it was pointless to be angry at those above. You either join them or die.

That was the case for Seth now; he was starting to show everyone, including his father, who he truly was deep down.

Seth now held the power. Still a High-Level Immortal, he had an Alphaverse and obviously had a lot of leverage in this place.

His word was law.

Everything that entered this Alphaverse did so under his control. So, he could do almost as he pleased.

This wasn't a Heavenly Realm, but it acted like one.

The Luthor Patriarch sighed, easing his heart. What could he have done?

He was starting to realise that Seth might have perhaps never cared deeply about the Cat Race, or any feline race for that matter.

The Tigers, Lynx, Cougars, Panthers, Cheetahs, and all the many who were assisting him for the same goal. Seth did not care about them.

They were all just variables in his ever-changing plans. Buttons to be pushed, tools to be used.

Just like the All-King…

Only that the All-King would not hate or laugh about it. He did not need to give an explanation as to why he was treating others like a tool; he just did it.

Seth, on the other hand, always seemed to have a list of reasons why he was doing it or not doing something.

The Luthor Patriarch winced when he remembered the flimsy excuse Seth had tried to use to justify not letting the Feline Assembly in.

"They might be corrupted, they might be influenced by the All-King, or worse, the gods.

The less load we carry, the fewer liabilities we have to take into account…"

Those were his exact words.

Liabilities.

'He called the fucking coalition of the strongest civilizations liabilities!' The Luthor Patriarch took a deep breath and tried to calm down again.

He couldn't believe that Seth, if all people saw the Feline Assembly as liabilities. Sure, they might draw attention, but that was expected.

It was only when the Luthor Patriarch reasoned with Seth and told him that the Feline Assembly could help in defeating the All-King that Seth finally agreed.

The fear of Kael was the only thing that moved Seth; if not, he would have turned a deaf ear to his father's pleas.

Seth needed the Feline Assembly to not only populate his Alphaverse, but also bring in some elements that may contribute to its growth. It wasn't much, but it would help just in case the All-King ever came for him.

The Luthor Patriarch sighed once again, then his mind folded into itself, looking at a corner of his mind space where a signal node was quietly blinking.

It was a signal node that had been implanted into his mind the day the Grace Keepers appeared.

The Luthor Patriarch could easily wipe out this signal node. It was harmless, which is also why he left it there.

The person who kept this signal node only wanted to talk, hence the constant blinking that had plagued him for two months.

The Luthor Patriarch had wanted to ignore it forever, keeping it just in case he ever needed to contact the other person on the other side. He never knew that he would be urged to look at it once again.

The Luthor Patriarch knew who was on the other side of the signal node. He was curious as to what that person could possibly have to tell him.

He was curious, added with the events of today, it was enough.

With a stern expression on his face, the Luthor Patriarch willed a connection.

"All-King, what do you want?" He spoke softly.
