"RAAAAAAAAAARGH!"
Ozia's chest was emptied of air as he let out a powerful roar that caused his surroundings to tremble.
His body was bloody, his claws were bloody, his hair was soaked, drenched in the blood of his enemies.
In his humanoid form, Ozia stood shirtless in the center of the carnage.
Like any other battlefield, the elements here were moving way too fast for the average mind to comprehend.
Ozia had just finished ripping one immortal Moth in half when he was bombarded from above by a green ray of light.
*BOOM!*
His body was blasted downwards, all the Moth blood on his body evaporating into cakey substances within that millisecond.
He could only raise his black metal arm to the sky, shielding his face temporarily.
"SON OF THE ALL-KING!" The voice of a Stellar Sovereign reached the ears of Ozia.
There was hardly a distinction between the light and the rest of space in this world. Every single corner and every single inch was illuminated, bright enough to blind many creatures.
"I'LL MAKE SURE YOUR FATHER RECEIVES YOUR CORPSE!*
The owner of the voice spoke with objective disdain and utter indifference to the status of the person he was attacking.
Why should he?
Did Ozia ask any of them how they felt before he started the killing?
When the First Son of the All-King charged into Stellar Heaven, screaming like a deranged lunatic with mental issues, he did not care about the Moths.
When he drove his metal arm into the chests and carapaces of thousands of moths, he did not care about them.
When he declared to the whole realm that he would personally quench all stars in the name of The Conquering, he did not care about his enemies.
When he led his army of hyenas and goats to raid all the Illuminary Continents and steal all the resources, he did not care.
Ozia, the First Son of The All-King, had proven to everyone that he was truly his father's son; he had paid his homage in blood and with the tears of his enemies.
Ozia had been hopelessly brutal and merciless, killing both young and old with the same look in his eyes.
When he killed the young, barely month-old Moths, he had a stoic expression and a fierce look in his eyes.
When he killed the old warriors and the resistance, he did so with the same unblinking look on his face.
Up above, the entity that was blasting him with so much green light was a Moth, a Low-Level Immortal, and a Stellar Sovereign.
Stellar Sovereigns held the highest authority in the Stellar Heaven and answered only to those stronger than them or Star herself.
His wings were vast and spread out, capable of covering continents with a single flap.
His two feathery antennae lit up, holding the source of the light beam blasting downward.
However, something started to feel wrong.
The Moth had been blasting his beam of green light down for a while now, and he had not yet felt any resistance.
Well, technically, he would not feel any resistance, since his power was Light, and light could not really relay information back to him in the manner in which this beam was structured.
But he should have at least met some resistance. It shouldn't have been so easy to take down the First Son of the All-King.
*BAM!*
A black metallic fist smashed into the face of the Moth from the left side. It did not see it coming at all.
Time flipped, reversing backwards as the metallic knuckles shattered all the layers of defense the Moth had put up.
"..." Ozia was silent as he started raining punches and chased after the Moth as it flew away.
But that silence was deafening; it was filled with nothing but quiet killing intent.
Ozia kept on attacking like a man gone mad. If one looked carefully, they would see that his eyes were lined with a certain golden glow.
Even now, his father lived through him and guided his actions.
Scenes like this were occurring at different coverages of the Stellar Heaven.
The main protagonists of this conflict were the children of the All-King, all of them.
From the moment it was discovered that the Stellar Heaven had a literal god backing them up, all the children of the All-King had flocked to her like moths to flames.
How ironic.
Not just the children, but the in-laws and grandchildren. Well, the only grandchildren Kael had came from Ozia.
But why did they all come here?
////
"Mortality? Are you sure you didn't do something?" Star asked, wearing an unpleasant frown on her face.
She and Mortality were standing on an isolated and dark planet in Stellar Heaven.
From here, Star could monitor the general power fluctuations and battles going on inside her heavenly realm.
Standing not too far back on the same dark and hard ground that she stood on was Mortality, wearing his stylish black and white office suit and his snow white hair.
Mortality shrugged his shoulders with a slightly bored expression, "I don't know," He said nonchalantly, hands in his pockets.
"Then why are they all rushing here like that?" Star asked calmly, but her frown got deeper. "I thought the knowledge of you being with me would deter them, but it seems it just made them more provoked."
Star was genuinely stunned; she didn't know why this was happening. No rational creature would do this on such a scale.
Not to mention that all the leaders of this invasion were the direct children of the All-King, each carrying a massive risk as their father could channel his power through them at any moment.
He would not let them die so easily; if not, Star would have gone out herself to kill them all.
Mortality suddenly seemed to think of something as his expression brightened. He ran his fingers through his black hair and sighed.
"Ah, it makes sense now," Mortality nodded.
"What?" Star turned to look at the white-haired suited man.
Mortality blinked. "They want the pressure. The lions, they want all the pressure.
They are actively searching for unbeatable opponents. They genuinely want me to fight them…"
"Why?" Star wondered out loud, "You would kill them easily," She said.
"I would," Mortality smiled, "But something tells me that is exactly what they want.
Bunch of crazies, all of them."
"Are you saying…" Star trailed off, not sure of it as the logic did not add up in her mind.
"You've already seen some of them come back after being killed," Mortality said. "They wish to use me as a grinding stone to get stronger.
On one hand, they definitely want to conquer your heaven. On the other hand, they wish for us to fight back with everything we got.
They seek to boost their individual power as much as possible. And the best way to do that is to keep fighting an impossible battle until winning becomes possible."
