Chapter 919: Chapter 727: A Difficult World

After Qin An heard this, he frowned slightly, a hint of doubt appearing on his face. "You still have some way to help me turn the situation around?"

Right now, he had pretty much thought through all the possible plans. The most important thing was to help him speed things up—get other worlds to learn of his existence as soon as possible, and have those worlds help his own world resist the arrangements on the Heavenly Demons’ side.

So what he needed now wasn’t anything else, but time.

Now that Zheng Yuanze said he could help him gain a great deal of time, naturally Qin An wanted to know what exactly this was about.

Zheng Yuanze paused slightly, then slowly said, "Though our worlds were destroyed by the Heavenly Demons, there are still some people like us, barely hanging on."

"And at the moment of destruction, we actually came to understand the truth of this world—we learned that this world has other places, just like us, all suffering the pain of annihilation."

"So after countless years, we finally came up with a way. We exhausted countless methods and in the end connected some of the broken, withered worlds together. Though they can’t exchange resources, we each left ways to contact one another."

"The way we contact each other is very complicated, so I won’t go into detail with Mr. Qin here."

Hearing this, Qin An’s eyes flashed with a sharp light as he said calmly, "If that’s the case, then perhaps there’s still room to maneuver."

To use a very simple example: if he visited each world one by one, then for him the amount of wasted time would be enormous.

Even if he spent only one day in each world, it would still cost far too much time.

On the Heavenly Demons’ side, though, it was much simpler. There were many Heavenly Demons; they could split off large numbers of people to go notify each world.

And once they finished notifying everyone, if a large number of broken worlds were willing to submit to them, then for Qin An and his side, the advantage of moving first would be lost.

Without the first-move advantage, the war situation would suffer irreparable damage.

Now Zheng Yuanze was telling him there was another way to reach those broken worlds, which would undoubtedly slash the time needed by a huge margin.

When Zheng Yuanze heard Qin An ask how to make contact, he showed a bitter smile and said helplessly, "Mr. Qin, to be honest, back then we acted very cautiously and set up many permissions."

"We can only contact the single most powerful world among all the shattered ones, and then that strongest world is responsible for passing messages on to the others. Aside from that, we have no other way to contact them. This was also out of caution."

"So, Mr. Qin, what you need to go to is that most powerful world, and have it transmit the message to every broken world. Only then can we achieve the goal."

Their worlds had been destroyed, and now they were just barely surviving. To preserve the last spark of hope, they had taken many cautious measures.

For example, right now, if they could contact other worlds at will, it would increase the risk of exposure. But as things stood, all the risk had been shifted onto that most powerful world—this was, in their eyes, the best way.

So if Qin An wanted to quickly contact the other worlds, he had to go to the most powerful among the destroyed worlds, and then use it to pass the message on to every broken world.

Qin An thought for a moment, then looked up and said, "Alright. In that case, tell me how to reach that strongest world."

The plan was already laid out, and he felt it was feasible—it could reduce an enormous amount of time, after all.

Time was exactly what he lacked now, so he didn’t waste a single word and spoke directly.

Zheng Yuanze showed a trace of hesitation and explained, "Mr. Qin, there are some matters here that are rather difficult to handle. I need to make them clear to you first."

"Difficult? How difficult?" Qin An asked. "Is it that you can’t find that strongest world, or that I’m unable to descend into it?"

Zheng Yuanze shook his head. "No, it’s not that. I can guide Mr. Qin by special means and let you land precisely in the most powerful broken world."

"But the biggest problem we face is that the leader of that world has already become conservative."

When this sentence fell, Qin An’s brows drew together tightly as he sank into thought.

Of course he knew what it meant to be conservative. To put it bluntly, it meant they were scared.

Zheng Yuanze continued, "The leader of that world actually leans more toward clinging to life. They face the Heavenly Demons’ presence every day and have bred endless fear. So getting them to help will be extremely difficult."

"Unless Mr. Qin can persuade him. But persuading him is even harder. I can only recommend that you give it a try. If you succeed, that’s wonderful. If you don’t, then you can only follow the method you mentioned yourself—spend a great deal of time exploring them one by one."

Qin An nodded. "Tell me right now how to go to that most powerful broken world."

He had already figured it out just now—anything, you have to at least try. Since this could save a huge amount of time, he had to give it a shot.

In other words, even if the attempt failed, it wouldn’t change much for him; he’d simply keep carrying out the original plan.

Knowing that Qin An needed to race against time, Zheng Yuanze didn’t waste words. He raised both hands and formed a spell in front of him.

As soon as the spell fell into place, a black fog suddenly appeared ahead.
