Chapter 944: Chapter 929: Ambush War (15)

His eyes suddenly sharpened, and under the dual pressure of Lei Tong’s body and hands, the drowsy Japanese student quickly woke up.

He probably never dreamed that he would be taken hostage in the middle of the night.

So, after being dumbfounded for a few seconds, he only managed to react from the numbness of a hangover. Immediately, he began to violently twist his body in an attempt to break free.

But the strength exerted by Lei Tong was not something this mere Japanese student could escape from.

After a bit of wrestling, Lei Tong had no time to play with the person beneath him and immediately lowered his face and coldly shouted: "If you don’t want to die, stay quiet!!"

Looking at Lei Tong’s stern face, the Japanese student, who was trying to resist, immediately gave up.

To completely eliminate the other’s defense instincts, Lei Tong took the "tooth dagger" from between his teeth, and after shaking it a few times in front of the Japanese student, he squinted his eyes and threatened: "Surely, you don’t want to be pierced by this thing, right?"

Seeing Lei Tong’s hand flick the sharp tip of the "tooth dagger" across in front of him, the Japanese student shivered as if shocked by electricity.

With his mouth blocked and unable to speak, the Japanese student could only nod repeatedly to express his willingness to "cooperate."

"Good!" Lei Tong nodded disdainfully, but inwardly cursed: Still bragging about Japanese spirit all day, huh, in the face of death, you’re just a coward.

Time was limited, and Lei Tong knew this was not the time to waste words with the other party.

After confirming that the Japanese student would not act out, he pressed the dagger against the center of the other’s throat.

"Remember! Don’t try any tricks, or I promise you’ll die a very exciting death!!"

The Japanese student hastily nodded his head, fearing that one delay would send him to the Western Heaven.

"Alright! Now I’m going to ask you a question, and you have to answer truthfully, understand?"

"Mm, mm!" The Japanese student struggled to make a whining sound from his mouth.

Lei Tong nodded, moved his hand away from the other’s mouth, and with a low voice asked, "Tell me, where is the key to the iron door outside?"

"It’s, it’s..."

Applying light force with his right hand, the "tooth dagger" immediately pricked into the skin of the Japanese student’s neck.

Feeling the sting, the Japanese student shook like a startled duck and, trembling, stuttered a reply: "On the desk over there."

Following the direction of the Japanese student’s finger, Lei Tong looked over and indeed saw a key on the nearby desk.

Having confirmed his target, Lei Tong did not forget to continue intimidating the Japanese student: "You better not be lying to me, or else!!"

Causally pulling down the student’s pants, Lei Tong yanked off the belt and ordered the Japanese student to stand up.

After that, he swiftly tied him up tightly.

After binding his hands, Lei Tong used the remaining pants to securely tie the Japanese student’s feet as well.

Finally, he connected the hand and leg "ropes" together, making the Japanese student like a hanging "crab," unable to move even if he wanted.

With this done, Lei Tong grabbed the Japanese student’s head, yanked off his stinky socks, and without waiting for any protest, gagged him tight.

Only then did Lei Tong stand up, quickly walked to the desk, took the key, and swiftly exited the classroom.

"How is it? Got the key?" Old Xu didn’t look away, his eyes still fixed on the corridor ahead.

Lei Tong didn’t waste words; he opened his palm and handed it to Old Xu’s sight.

Old Xu nodded, raised a hand, pointed at the iron door next to him, and signaled, "Go unlock the door."

"Got it!"

Upon receiving the order, Lei Tong said no more and took the key to the door.

He gently inserted the key into the lock, but after turning, the lock didn’t respond.

Damn it!! Obviously, the key tried was not matched to the lock.

However, Lei Tong was not disheartened because there were more than 20 keys on the keychain. It should be the keys to this floor of the teaching building. So Lei Tong still had a chance to open the lock.

Setting the failed key attempt aside, Lei Tong continued to experiment.

But failure seemed to be contagious, as his efforts continued without success, dealing a blow to Lei Tong’s initial confidence.

Old Xu did not bother with what was happening behind him, his eyes remained alertly watching the surroundings, his body like a crouching predator ready to strike.

As time passed with Lei Tong’s repeated attempts, Hua Biao and Li Xiaoxin finally reached the school after a long journey.

To say it was smooth would be inaccurate; their path was quite tough.

After all, when Old Xu went to the school, he had Derek to guide him; moreover, it was in daylight.

But Hua Biao and Li Xiaoxin had only Old Xu’s verbal directions; the nighttime channels were much harsher than they were by day.

However, fortunately, Hua Biao and Li Xiaoxin were professionally trained soldiers.

Moving in the dark was already a skill for them, so objective difficulties couldn’t pose significant troubles.

If there was anything inconvenient, it was never knowing where the bloodthirsty zombies might hide to deliver a fatal blow.

But Hua Biao and Li Xiaoxin were lucky; though they often heard zombies’ noises, they didn’t actually encounter any beasts.

For the two moving in the dark, this was undoubtedly a blessing in disguise.

Climbing out of the channel, Hua Biao resealed the manhole cover.

No matter what the outcome today, this sole escape route leading outside the school had to be properly handled.

Once the channel was secured, Hua Biao and Li Xiaoxin immediately began climbing operations.

At this moment, Lei Tong finally succeeded in unlocking the iron door after dozens of failed attempts.

The crisp sound of the lock opening was clear to Old Xu. In an instant, Lei Tong flashed an "OK" hand gesture to him.

For Old Xu and Lei Tong, the next step was to wait.

Wait for Hua Biao and Li Xiaoxin to arrive, wait for them to deliver the necessary equipment.

As time ticked by, Old Xu wasn’t worried about Hua Biao and Li Xiaoxin’s stealth skills.

He only feared he hadn’t explained clearly enough since the teaching building’s structure is quite complex, and without a guide, it’s easy to lose the way.

Furthermore, there are still many zombies in the teaching building. With a slight mishap, they might end up surrounded by beasts.

If that happens, not only would Hua Biao and Li Xiaoxin’s lives be in danger, but even their side could possibly be disturbed by the noise they make, alarming the sleeping Japanese students.

But this time, the heavens were obviously on the rescue team’s side, so the worries in Old Xu’s heart ultimately didn’t materialize.

Under the guidance of Old Xu’s pre-explained map, Hua Biao and Li Xiaoxin successfully reached the meeting point. (To be continued.
