Mona then looked over her shoulder.

Only then did she realize that Lucien Attewell, the last one of Nero’s knights, was already carrying Charlotte in his arms.

"Don’t worry, Your Majesty," Alucard Dionisio assured her. "Melvin is already evacuating them as we speak. The ancient twins are creating a barrier around the palace to make sure that the other palaces won’t be affected."

Mona was relieved to hear that. "Let’s go, then."

NERO only stepped inside the room where the Ancient Devil was when his mother, Dahlia, and the unicorn had already left for their safety.
