The elven soldier advanced with quick steps through the throne room, and walking by his side was the small brown-haired demon without horns.

Ophelia, who was watching from the end of the stone table, narrowed her eyes upon seeing the small figure enter.

"Zelyn?" Ophelia called her by her name, breaking the room's silence.

The small demon looked up immediately, searching for the source of the voice. Upon seeing the imposing woman sitting at the table, her eyes widened with pure surprise. She took a hesitant step forward.

After a few seconds, the little girl seemed to realize exactly who the person in front of her was.

"You are... the witch of chaos," the small demon said with a soft but clear voice, while slowly approaching the immense stone table.

The elven soldier, seeing that his escort task was finished, stood to the side, maintaining a military posture without saying anything else so as not to interrupt.

Ophelia frowned, visibly annoyed at hearing that old name. She looked at the small demon sternly.

"Do not ever call me that way again," Ophelia ordered.

Ryan turned toward the demon queen and could not help but let out a slight, mocking laugh.

"The witch of chaos?" Ryan asked, resting his chin on his hand.

The girls in the group did not take long to comment on that curious nickname, formulating theories about how Ophelia used to be.

And before any new conflict could start.

Ryan nodded toward the soldier. "You did a very good job taking care of her. You can go with the others now."

"It is an honor to serve you, Your Majesty. I will retire now to inform the rest of the troops that the inner perimeter is completely secure," the elven soldier replied with a bow, turning around and leaving down the hallway.

Ophelia let out a light sigh, settling into her stone chair. "It is just an old, unimportant title. The high commands used to call me that in the past, when I served the previous demon king. But that was a long time ago."

The demon queen shook her head, clearing away the unnecessary memories, and turned her attention back to the truly important political matter they had in front of them.

"Zelyn," Ophelia said, using a much more formal and authoritative tone to address the demon king Rohan's daughter.

But the answer she received bewildered everyone at the table.

The small figure with long brown hair clenched her fists and looked her straight in the eyes.

"Do not call me that," she replied with a firmness that did not match her size. "I will never use that damn fake name again."

Faced with the confused looks from Ryan's group, the young demon decided to reveal the truth of his lineage.

"Because of the noble demons' dirty internal politics, my father forced me to take my deceased friend's identity and act as if I were a woman in front of the whole world," he said, lifting his chin. "But now that I am far from that place, I will not do it anymore. I am a boy."

Despite his young age, his words sounded with a lot of determination and a clear resentment toward his home's rules.

Ryan's girls widened their eyes at the sudden turn of events. The supposed valuable daughter of the demon king Rohan, the great hostage they were going to negotiate for, turned out to be a boy in reality.

To Ryan, however, it seemed like a highly curious detail rather than a problem.

'Wow, that certainly is a complicated family,' Ryan thought, rubbing his chin and reflecting on the situation.

'I suppose what the demon king said is that his daughter, or son, whatever. Died when they tried to sacrifice him. According to Ophelia, it was his own mother who did that, how pitiful.'

"That was what I wanted to tell you earlier, Ryan," Ophelia commented. "Although, it is not like it matters much either," Ophelia added.

"Yes, you are right," Ryan confirmed.

The meeting at the cold stone table continued for a while longer.

Ryan took the floor again and clarified all the details of his future plans for that small demon who turned out to be a boy. He coldly explained how they would make the most out of the situation.

Ryan dictated that, in exactly one week, he himself would send a formal invitation letter to the demon king's territory so they would come to negotiate for the young demon.

When he heard that, the young demon let out a bitter, hopeless laugh. He assured everyone at the table that his father, the immense demon king Rohan, would never bother crossing the border and coming in person just for him.

Ryan replied with total calmness, saying that was something he already expected from the beginning.

But Ryan made it very clear to the boy that this would not change anything about his plan. He was completely sure that Rohan's faction would send someone with the necessary capabilities and authority to negotiate.

And in that structured way, the great tactical meeting between Ryan's assault group and the demon queen Ophelia's faction concluded.

Ophelia stood up, adjusting her trench coat, the same one Ryan had given her when she returned to her normal size upon being freed from the seal.

Ivis also stood up and prepared to leave along with her mistress.

Before crossing the hall, Ophelia looked at Ryan seriously. She warned him that he now had to make himself known. Most likely, the noble demons and the city leaders who were previously under Rigal's absolute control would come to this castle very soon to see him with their own eyes and evaluate whether they should submit or rebel.

To avoid unnecessary chaos, she explained that she would make the news public that there is a new demon king ruling the north. She herself would make the official announcement so it would be completely credible to the masses.

Karol, always analytical, took a step forward and asked what exactly would happen with them now after the announcement.

Ophelia looked at her and replied that this would simply be their new beginning at the true summit of the world. But she very seriously advised them not to relax at all. Because, although it has not happened in a long time, it is highly possible that the other demon kings of the continent will want to call a formal meeting upon finding out about the existence of a human in their circle of power.

"If that happens, can I simply refuse to go?" Ryan asked, having no interest in demon politics.

"Of course not," Ophelia declared. "But, you should not worry too much about it. We are official allies now, and I have much more influence than you think."

That kings' summit was something Ryan already expected upon taking the throne, so he did not dwell on the matter any longer.

And so everything concluded. Ophelia walked toward the door, saying they would be in contact very soon. Before disappearing, she sincerely thanked each of the members of Ryan's group for their bravery in the battle.

After Ophelia's immense army retreated and they were finally left alone in the shattered stone castle, the group began to organize themselves.

They quickly agreed that Chloe, the terrified holy knight, would now be in charge of taking care of the young demon full-time, giving her a useful purpose to keep her alive.

While walking through the ruined hallways, Helen wrinkled her nose and complained aloud that absolutely the entire castle smelled like that disgusting beast demon king and dried blood.

Ryan agreed with her, looking at the grotesque statues and shattered pillars around them. He said that this castle's original design had terrible architectural taste anyway, and announced that he would simply demolish it completely down to the foundations.

Upon hearing their leader, Alicia took a step forward with a huge smile and her wolf ears raised.

The young beastwoman said she would prepare the entire grounds immediately. With a lot of enthusiasm, Alicia assured him she would make the elven builders in their army work hard day and night to raise a completely new and luxurious castle in just one day using earth magic.

...

And so, in a blink of hard work, two full days passed.

The Ryan faction's new castle was created and stood imposing on the snowy mountain. It was an enormous, modern, and elegant structure, far superior to Rigal's rustic fortress.

And the most important thing about the new construction was that it had a large and beautiful private, personalized room for each of the girls in the group, giving them the luxury they deserved after so many battles.

However, and precisely because of that exact architectural detail, there were huge fights in the main hallway that very night.

Ryan found himself cornered against the wall of his immense main chambers. Helen, Beatrice, Mirian, Karol, Alicia, and Irina were standing in front of him, arguing heatedly among themselves.

Lise, despite being the one who just joined Ryan's group, argued fervently against the rest of the girls.

Absolutely all of them firmly stated and demanded that their true resting place was not in their individual, solitary rooms, but in the immense main bedroom, sleeping in the same bed with Ryan.

The argument reached a stalemate, and the seven girls turned toward him at the same time, crossing their arms and looking at him with overwhelming intensity.

And refusing to take no for an answer, they told him in unison:

"You must decide which of us you will sleep with tonight."
