"Alicia," Ryan called in a calm voice.

She twitched her ears slightly upon hearing her name. And she fixed her eyes on Ryan immediately, giving her full attention to her leader.

"Your Majesty," Alicia said.

She took a step forward, separating herself from the rest of the girls gathered in the throne room.

"So that everyone is aware, do you have the report I asked for?" Ryan asked from his seat.

He wanted his whole party to hear the details about the place they now ruled.

"Yes." She nodded her head, showing confidence.

"I will give it right now," the beastwoman added.

From her place in front of Ryan's throne, she began to speak in a loud voice so that everyone could hear her clearly.

"This nation, Kowarre. It wasn't exactly the most developed nation among the demon kings," Alicia began to explain.

"Rigal sought power, he didn't care about the comfort of any of the demons. Kowarre has eleven large towns. I estimate that there are at least eleven thousand demons across all those towns. According to my evaluation, each town has between five hundred and fifteen hundred inhabitants," she explained, detailing the numbers she had calculated.

She stared at her king, waiting to see his reaction to that data.

"Which is a very low number, considering the neighboring nation, Ophelia's kingdom," Alicia commented.

Ryan listened to her in silence.

"Eleven thousand, huh," Ryan said in a thoughtful tone.

'That's a small number of inhabitants for such a large territory,' Ryan thought.

He knew that ruling an almost empty place would bring problems, but also make it easier to impose his own rules without much resistance.

"Yes, Your Majesty. If you like I can tell you the exact amount per town," Alicia suggested, willing to give a much longer report.

"That won't be necessary," Ryan said.

He didn't need to know the exact numbers for each village right now. Knowing the total was enough for his plans.

"And what about the town at the foot of this mountain?" Irina asked with curiosity.

The elven princess looked at Alicia. Irina was interested in knowing the state of the places closest to their new base.

Alicia cleared her throat before answering Irina's question.

"That town actually functioned as a base for Rigal's demons. I mean, only soldiers lived there. And we killed them all during the attack," she clarified so there would be no doubts about the inhabitants of that place.

That night they had left no survivors among the enemy troops who tried to stop them.

"Naturally the town did not suffer any damage because the battle was fought on this mountain and in the sentinel towers," Alicia concluded.

Ryan remembered what the terrain of his new home was like.

The former demon king's castle was on top of a mountain. But the mountain itself wasn't that high. From a distance, it looked like it had been cut in half by some immense power in the past.

What it does have is a very wide stone platform at the top. That is exactly where the current castle the elves built is located.

In the exact center of the mountain is Ryan's castle.

And there are at least four hundred meters of leftover space. It is completely flat terrain that surrounds the main building.

That was where the sentinel towers were. But those towers were also destroyed, since Ryan did not plan to copy the demons' policy of adding sentinels among his members, he planned to have his own elite team, with a different name that represents them.

Furthermore, in that same flat space there is a kind of very large stable. That place held eight giant wolves inside that Rigal used, and that now belonged to Ryan.

"Rigal's demons were very weak," Helen commented aloud, breaking the silence of the room. "You were able to defeat them even though I wasn't there," Helen added with a smile of superiority.

She insinuated that the enemies weren't a real problem if the rest of the party was able to clear the area without her direct help on that part of the mountain.

The archer did not like Helen's arrogant comment at all.

Mirian frowned. She remembered how difficult it was to fight that enormous earth beast to protect Ryan's rearguard.

Karol, Alicia, and Beatrice nodded their heads at the same time. They supported Mirian's words, remembering the effort they made that night.

"Besides that, the darkness dragon killed most of the higher-ranking demons," Irina explained.

The elf wanted to make it clear that Janina did a large part of the heavy lifting against the leaders of the enemy army.

Irina did not want Helen to belittle what happened outside the castle.

"So what?" Helen intervened, giving no importance to her companions' explanations.

"I fought against the demon king," Helen said, raising her chin with great pride.

For her, having fought alongside Ryan against the leader of the nation was the only thing that really mattered from that night.

Lise remained silent in her place.

The dragon almost completely ignored the conversations around her. She only looked at Ryan, disinterested in the fights of the human girls.

"Whatever. Since that town is intact, the elves and beastmen from the village will be moved there," Ryan concluded, cutting off the small argument between them.

He made the decision to use the empty town at the foot of the mountain to accommodate all his allies who were still hiding in the sky dungeon.

Irina's eyes lit up upon hearing his words.

The elven princess smiled with great joy. Finally, her people would have a safe and spacious place to live without fear of the humans from the church.

The sound echoed throughout the room, drawing the attention of all the girls present. At the entrance was the small figure of the demon king's son. The boy had managed to leave his room and walk through the corridors until he got there.

"Fools," the brat said in a loud voice, despite being only a child.

He walked a couple of steps into the great hall, looking at Ryan and the girls with a lot of anger on his face.

"My father has no feelings for me. You won't get anything from him just by handing me over, maybe he'll even kill you all."

The young demon said, trying to ruin the plans they had. He raised his arms in front of his body. The boy was pointing directly at them with a magic staff.

"Ah!" Karol screamed suddenly, widening her eyes.

The mage took a step towards the boy, recognizing the object immediately.

"That's my staff!" Karol exclaimed, pointing at the weapon the boy was holding.
