After carefully assessing her condition, Bella said excitedly, "Sister, I feel all warm inside. I think I’ve gotten stronger."
Cole Kensington, at her side, nodded repeatedly. "Me too."
’So this is what obvious progress feels like.’ Suddenly, Cole Kensington was eager to go again.
They were never afraid of death. Their only fear was their strength declining.
’If I were just a little stronger, I might be able to go back and avenge my entire clan by myself.’
"It’s good that you can feel yourselves getting stronger. Go take a shower, change your clothes, and get some rest for now." Faye Yardley’s words were not only for them, but also for herself.
Right now, aside from her Constitution, her other three Attributes were just a point shy of 40.

Faye Yardley checked the caller ID and was surprised to see it was Logan Langdon, whom she hadn’t heard from in a long time. She told Bella and Kingston to leave first,
then hesitated for a moment before answering.
"Congratulations, Gorgeous Yardley. You’re ahead of all of us once again."
"Thank you, Island Master Langdon, you’re too kind. If we’re talking about being ahead, that would be you. Taking in 100,000 people at once—that takes real guts. I wouldn’t dare do that. I’ve had two or three groups of people arrive on my island, and the total still isn’t even 2,000 yet." Faye Yardley figured it was best to exchange some pleasantries with people she wasn’t close to.
’After all, you couldn’t go wrong with a few compliments.’
And just like that, the smile on Logan Langdon’s face on the other end of the line seemed much more genuine.
"Gorgeous Yardley, I’m calling because I’d like to trade some resources with you. Are you interested?"
"A trade? For what?"
Logan Langdon got straight to the point. "Since you aren’t planning on taking in many people on your island, I was wondering if you have surplus basic supplies. I can trade Ordinary Island Entry Orders and Dungeon Invitation Cards for them. Of course, if you’d rather trade for things like sanitary napkins or basic farm tools, that’s fine too."
Faye Yardley mulled it over for a moment before replying, "For basic supplies, you could just organize a team to run Dungeon 3. You can kill zombies for points and exchange them for what you need."
"We don’t have that many Dungeon 3 Fragments. The other Dungeons don’t provide points, so..."
Faye Yardley said, "Oh." Then she added, "I don’t have a lot of basic supplies to spare, but I could trade you a Dungeon 1 Invitation Card for some basic farm tools and other goods."
’Since she didn’t have the blueprints for basic farm tools, trading was her only option to get them.’
’She still had two Dungeon 1 Invitation Cards, so it was no big deal to trade one.’
The two of them haggled back and forth for a while before finally reaching an agreement.
In addition to one Dungeon Invitation Card, Faye Yardley also offered a batch of fast-growing vegetable seeds. In return, she received a supply of basic farm tools, two sets of carpenter’s tools, twenty rubber tires, and a supply of sanitary napkins.
It was hard to say who got the better end of the deal; it was more a case of both parties getting what they needed.
She had just hung up with Logan Langdon when her brother called to check in.
"Bro, is this urgent? If not, I’m about to go take a shower."
"No, I just wanted to see how you were doing. You seem to be in good shape and aren’t hurt, so I can rest easy. It’s getting late. Go get some rest after your shower."
"Okay. Goodnight, Bro."
Feeling refreshed after her shower, Faye Yardley checked her messages. Eleanor Jonas had sent her ten Gifts in a row. Sure enough, they were packed to the brim with supplies for the residents of Conch Isle.
She checked the island’s construction progress. She’d be able to head back on the 1st. If she could, she also wanted to move the Teleportation Array leading to Lumina onto Conch Isle.
’Besides, the Teleportation Array won’t activate for anyone who isn’t one of my clerks and doesn’t have my permission to use it.’
Willow Yardley’s voice drifted up from downstairs. "Sister, do you want to get a bite to eat before bed?"
Faye Yardley hadn’t realized she was hungry until Willow Yardley mentioned it. The moment she did, a wave of hunger washed over her.
"Yes! And make extra. Let’s all have a late-night snack together."
With that in mind, Faye Yardley went ahead and asked Zephyr Sterling and Master Veridian if they wanted to join.
They both declined, saying it was too late, but Faye Yardley prepared a meal for each of them and sent it over anyway.
She sent two Gold Coins along with the food.
’The more contact they had with the outside world, the more important it was to have some money on hand.’
’After all, they might need it for Dungeons, and I can’t always be there with them.’
’Come to think of it, I have very few friends. I should hold on to the ones I have.’

After a hearty meal and a good night’s sleep, she woke to another day of scorching heat. The seawater itself seemed to be boiling under the sun.
Faye Yardley stayed out of the water, but on the World Channel, people were crying out that the seawater was scalding them to death.
There wasn’t a single fish to be seen on the ocean’s surface.
’Looks like they’ve all moved to deeper waters.’
On the market, the demand for ice continued to rise.
Faye Yardley wasn’t short on ice. Between the climate control system indoors and her temperature-regulating outfit, she was comfortable. However, she had very little interest in the activity of sitting motionlessly to fish for treasure chests.
Cole Kensington was even less interested than she was, since he never managed to catch anything.
He thought that if he had Faye’s luck and never came up empty-handed, he’d gladly sit and fish 24 hours a day.
Faye Yardley just huffed in response to his comment.
Even though she disliked it, Faye Yardley still stuck to her post, fishing, when she wasn’t in the training room.
Over the course of the day, in addition to all sorts of seafood, she also reeled in five Wooden Treasure Chests and three Iron Treasure Boxes.
’So many chests. Just looking at them is enough to make me happy.’
Faye Yardley immediately prepared to return to her room to enjoy the bliss of unboxing them alone.
"Sister, can I watch?" Bella asked, turning her head.
"Nope."
’Are you kidding? This is a joy to be savored alone.’
After turning Bella down, Faye Yardley happily went inside and headed upstairs.
Leaving a disgruntled Bella behind.
Cole Kensington walked over and patted Bella Yardley’s head. "Faye is our master. Her kindness is not an excuse for us to get ahead of ourselves. Remember your place. Just because you look young doesn’t mean you can act like a child."
"Hmph." Bella slapped his hand away, shot him a glare, and ran off.
Meanwhile, in her bedroom on the second floor, Faye Yardley gazed at the treasure chests lined up in a row. She clasped her hands together and muttered a little prayer.
Then, she began to open the chests.
