Chapter 1354: Chapter 1454: I Do (Part 3)

Though she had just shown complete cooperation with Manuel Ink, Summer Sutton couldn’t quite grasp how Manuel was planning things or what he truly thought.

If things continue like this, would he really have a wedding with her?

Summer Sutton’s mind was conflicted, thinking about these issues, she couldn’t fall asleep.

Manuel Ink sat beside her, probably to show Old Master Ink and other family members, that he hadn’t left the room tonight.

However, he kept a certain distance between himself and Summer Sutton.

That’s Manuel Ink’s character, even if he had much affection for Summer Sutton, he wouldn’t take any actions when their relationship hadn’t progressed.

Even though he’s a man as normal as can be.

The two of them hardly slept the whole night.

A little after six in the morning, when servants downstairs began moving around, Summer Sutton heard Manuel Ink open the door and leave.

The room became thoroughly quiet after that.

She hadn’t slept all night, yet oddly, she didn’t feel sleepy at all.

She thought of Watt Bennet at this moment, where was he now?

She knew he must be looking for her, but how could she get in touch with him?

On the Ink family’s grounds, whether it was the Ink Family Castle or Glara Island, the secrecy was meticulously maintained; not to mention phones, even the internet signal was strictly controlled here.

It was almost impossible for Summer Sutton to contact the outside world.

Thinking about these things kept her awake; when she went downstairs at noon, her eyes were dark with fatigue, and her appearance extremely weary.

Old Master Ink looked her up and down, with his brows slightly raised, seemingly pondering something.

After observing Summer Sutton for a long time, his gaze moved to Manuel Ink.

Manuel Ink hadn’t slept last night either, his mental state wasn’t much better.

The Old Master stared at this pair, clearly misunderstanding the situation.

He hummed slightly, his expression suddenly becoming proud.

That’s what he said, what does Manuel Ink lack?

A woman able to refuse a man like Manuel Ink, must have a lease on intelligence!

...

The Ink family arranged the wedding for Manuel Ink in three days.

Old Master Ink did not care whether Summer Sutton was willing to join the Ink family.

Both Summer Sutton and Manuel Ink were still young, their future was long, not to mention, wasn’t it trendy for younger generations to marry first and love later now?

Wasn’t that how Adrian Walyon and Summer Sutton were back then?

Even though Old Master Ink was old, his thinking was quite modern.

On the wedding day.

Outside Summer Sutton’s room, a large group of maids had been waiting early.

By just after six, Summer Sutton was called up, surrounded by a crowd like a rag doll being toyed around with most of the morning. At half-past eleven, she saw Manuel Ink for the first time that day.

Manuel Ink wore a black suit today, appearing more formal than usual, his face as breathtakingly striking as it was the first time Summer Sutton saw him.

Leaning quietly against the door, he looked Summer Sutton up and down, his gaze gentle enough to carry the wind.

Summer Sutton lifted her face and met his gaze with an inquisitive look.

Even until now, she was still uncertain what Manuel Ink’s arrangements were.

"You all can leave," Manuel Ink waved his hand, signaling the maids in the room to depart.

"Yes, young master." A large group of maids nodded to the two of them and quietly exited the room.

In the vast bedroom, it suddenly quieted down, leaving only Summer Sutton and Manuel Ink in the room.
