Chapter 1353: Chapter 1453: I Do (2)

Summer Sutton didn’t offer any explanation for her words. Without waiting for Manuel Ink to speak, she held the wedding dress from the bed and went to the bathroom to try it on.

She stayed inside for quite some time, and when she came out, she was wearing the wedding gown designed by Adam, the hottest designer currently both domestically and abroad, commissioned by the Ink Family for over ten million.

The vintage, sophisticated design was both noble and elegant, with every detail exuding luxury and refinement, every stitch was handmade.

This kind of wedding dress was befitting of the Ink Family’s status; the diamonds embedded in the train alone were worth a fortune.

Summer Sutton’s steps were composed and calm, as if she had already made up her mind.

Manuel Ink quietly gazed at her, scrutinizing her from head to toe countless times, unable to take his eyes off her.

Since knowing Summer Sutton, he had never lost his composure in front of her, so this should be the first time.

He was entranced by Summer Sutton in that sacred white gown.

Summer Sutton slowly came to his side, stood still in front of him, and slightly pulled at the corners of her mouth, "Should we wear this to show them downstairs?"

Her voice was neither high nor low, and Manuel Ink, once he regained his composure, was a bit embarrassed, "Alright."

He opened the door, took Summer Sutton’s hand, and led her downstairs.

Old Master Ink never believed Manuel Ink couldn’t handle Summer Sutton. In his eyes, the Ink Family men only needed to act, and any woman would be won over.

Today, Summer Sutton’s compliance, in the Old Master’s view, was nothing unusual.

Watching Summer Sutton descend the stairs in the white gown behind Manuel Ink, the Old Master lifted his chin proudly.

"I told you so!" He lightly hummed, his tone quite proud.

Summer Sutton merely cast a faint glance at him, calmly following Manuel Ink down the stairs.

"Grandpa, Dad, Mom, Summer wants to show you too and get your opinions." Manuel Ink led Summer Sutton downstairs, bringing her to stand by his side.

"What opinions could we possibly have? As long as you two like it, that’s all that matters." Mrs. Ink laughed, speaking indifferently.

"Mm. Summer has been quite tired the past few days, I’ll take her back to the room for some rest." Manuel Ink nodded and bade farewell to the group.

"Go ahead, go ahead, rest well so you can be stunning on the wedding day." Mrs. Ink waved them off, smiling.

She was actually entirely ignorant of the matters between Manuel Ink and Summer Sutton. Seeing Summer willingly don the wedding gown for Manuel, Mrs. Ink naturally assumed she liked Manuel.

Summer Sutton was obedient, responding to whatever Manuel Ink said without quarrel or fuss.

Back in the room, with the door closed, she casually pinned the train with one leg and lay down on the bed to sleep right in front of Manuel Ink.

"Have you been very tired these last few days?" Staring at her, Manuel Ink asked.

"A bit." Summer Sutton yawned, keeping her eyes closed, turned to her side, and continued sleeping.

"Then rest well, I’m here." Manuel Ink found a sofa chair to sit in, picked up his phone, and started browsing the web.

Summer Sutton truly was exhausted these past few days. Ever since arriving here, she didn’t know who had brought her, spending the previous ten days in constant anxiety, barely sleeping a wink.

Yet, lying on the bed, she found herself unable to sleep.
