Chapter 1381: Chapter 1481: Critically Ill

She wasn’t against Watt Bennet going to see his grandfather, but Summer Sutton was worried about him.

Although Watt Bennet hadn’t yet revealed the real reason he was unwilling to return to the Walyon Family, Summer Sutton could guess that it definitely had to do with certain people in the family.

Summer Sutton feared that if Watt Bennet went, and if his identity was exposed, it would bring risks to herself.

Summer Sutton paced back and forth across the vast living room, her mind a tangled mess.

She couldn’t visit the hospital herself. If she went, and Watt Bennet hadn’t been discovered but she was, it would be difficult to explain.

Unable to go to the hospital, not knowing Watt Bennet’s current situation, Summer Sutton was as anxious as an ant on a hot pan.

Yet, there was absolutely nothing she could do.

It was a bit past nine, not too late. Summer Sutton couldn’t go to the hospital, so she could only quietly wait at home.

Hospital.

The hospital was crowded tonight.

Because of the Walyon family’s connections, the last batch of visitors was only sent off near ten o’clock, considering the Old Master needed rest.

In the ward, the other members of the Walyon family were present; Bryce Walyon and his wife, Paul Walyon, and Ryan Walyon.

Diana Wood appeared particularly troubled, especially as she looked at the Old Master lying pale on the hospital bed.

"Dad, you must take good care of yourself. With Adrian gone now, if anything happens to you, how will this family keep going?" she nagged the Old Master, sitting by the bed.

Diana Wood spoke her mind openly, having momentarily forgotten that the Walyon family, now in the hands of Ryan Walyon and his father, was not the same as when Adrian was in charge.

Paul Walyon, standing next to her, heard this and gave a cold chuckle.

Adrian has been gone several months, and the Walyon enterprise has continued just fine during these days.

This proves that the Walyon family can indeed survive without Adrian.

Did they really think the world couldn’t turn without Adrian?

The Old Master’s illness flared up today primarily because he thought of Adrian; how could they mention Adrian in front of him at such a time?

A grandson raised from childhood, and already at such a young age, gone in such a tragic plane accident, as soon as the Old Master thought of the scene in Northern Ireland claiming the body, his blood pressure spiked.

While his condition had slightly improved after arriving at the hospital, Diana Wood’s words made it shoot up again instantly.

His body convulsed, clutching his chest as if in great pain, spasming several times, his eyes rolled back, and he fainted once more.

"Dad, Dad! Dad, you can’t have something happen! Doctor! Doctor, come quickly!" Diana Wood panicked thoroughly, urgently pressing the call button by the bed.

"And you, why mention Adrian now? Don’t ever mention those two words in front of Dad again, understand?" Bryce Walyon reprimanded Diana Wood.

"Wasn’t I just saying what I thought? How was I to know things would turn out like this?" Diana Wood innocently retorted.

The ward was thrown into complete chaos.

A large group of doctors and nurses quickly rushed over, performing emergency rescue measures on the Old Master.

The whole night, doctors and nurses busily moved in and out of the ward nonstop.

In the corner of the corridor, a figure silently observed the scene, listening to the conversations coming from the ward from beginning to end, a flash of pain passing through his eyes.
