NOW Gong Hanseo was offended.

GONG HANSEO was relieved to hear that both Kang Daeho and the baby were fine.

Actually, Kang Daeho woke up in the ambulance earlier.

He didn’t know how long he was going to be alone with Kang Daeho in the room, so he apologized right away.

"Hanseo-ya, I know I’m wrong for having such terrible thoughts. I really feel bad for saying those hurtful words to you. This may sound like an excuse, but I can’t control my mood swings lately," Kang Daeho said, smiling apologetically. "Despite everything, can you forgive me? You’re one of the few people who genuinely care about me, so I don’t want my friendship with you to turn sour."

"I don’t want that to happen either, Hyung," Gong Hanseo said. He felt a slight protest in his chest, but he ignored that for now. After all, Kang Daeho seemed genuine with his apology. "Let’s continue getting along well."

"BABE, you’re staring at Kang Daeho a bit too much."

Gong Hanseo rolled his eyes at Seong Kyungmin’s playful complaint. "I just can’t believe that Daeho Hyung is already six months pregnant. His baby bump is a bit smaller than the other pregnant male Omegas I’ve seen before. Are you sure the baby is okay?"

The two of them were outside the room where Kang Daeho was taking a pregnancy ultrasound check-up.

"Male Omegas usually have a small baby bump. There are a few exceptions, though," Seong Kyungmin explained, his hand already touching Gong Hanseo’s waist. "If the male Omega is carrying a pair of twins or more, he’s bound to have a huge baby bump. Of course, it will also happen if the baby is big. Usually, by their weight upon birth, you can determine whether a baby will be an Alpha or not. Most "giant" babies turn out to be Alphas, after all."

"Oh, I see. Secondary Gender isn’t hereditary, is it?"

"Yeah. Even with our advance technology, there’s still no sure way of telling whether your child will awaken as an Alpha or Omega. After all, the majority of the population is still Betas."

"Even so, I still need to study a lot about Secondary Gender," Gong Hanseo said worriedly. "The baby might be an Omega or an Alpha. As a Beta, I need to learn how to raise one."

"I’ll help you, babe," Seong Kyungmin said, wrapping an arm around Gong Hanseo’s shoulders. "We’ll be raising the child together, after all."

Gong Hanseo gasped softly, pleasantly surprised by Kang Daeho’s good news.

So, the child that they would be adopting was a baby girl.

We’re having a daughter.

"Congratulations, Hanseo-ya, Kyungmin-ssi," Kang Daeho said while smiling a bit sadly, and then he gently rubbed his belly. "You are blessed with a daughter."

Gong Hanseo turned to Seong Kyungmin with a smile, and his lover smiled back at him. "We’re going to be girl dads, Hyung."

"Yes, I can’t wait to meet our daughter," Seong Kyungmin said, kissing Gong Hanseo on the forehead. "We’ll treat our daughter like a princess and give her all the fancy things in the world."

Aigoo.

Gong Hanseo could already picture Seong Kyungmin raising their baby girl with love and luxury.

And I can’t wait for that moment.
