"Did my mother-in-law encourage you to do this?"

"Do what?"

"Seduce Kyungmin Hyung and conceive a child with him in order to give my mother-in-law a grandchild with Kyungmin Hyung’s blood."

Kang Daeho looked shocked at first, and then he laughed. "You’re being paranoid, Hanseo-ya. Are you that insecure about being a Beta that you’re creating stories in your head? Kyungmin-ssi will get tired of you if you continue acting that way, you know?"

Now Gong Hanseo could finally see Kang Daeho’s true colors.

"You can’t just change your mind! Especially without Kyungmin’s permission!"

"I can," Gong Hanseo said, turning his back on Kang Daeho. "Watch me."
