After school Kalon went straight to the Bluegale house.

The guards at the gate recognised him and opened the way without asking questions. They said that they already had orders to let him in.

But Thea was not waiting at the entrance. The front of the house was quiet.

An empty house?

Kalon walked inside.

He checked the living room first. Empty. The kitchen was empty too. He went down the main hallway checked the indoor training room.

No one was there.

The garden outside was also empty.

He stood still for a moment and listened. The house was almost completely silent.

He went upstairs.

Most of the doors on the second floor were closed. He walked along the corridor until he reached Thea’s room. The door was not fully shut.

A thin gap had been left open. Light from inside spilled into the hallway.

Kalon stopped outside and looked through the gap.

Thea was standing in the middle of the room with her back mostly turned toward the door.

She was getting dressed.

Her school clothes were on the bed. She was wearing only a pair of dark underwear bottoms.

Her upper body was naked. She held a clean shirt in her hands but had not put it on yet.

Kalon stayed still and watched.

Thea lifted her arms and slid the shirt over her head. The movement made her chest rise and stretch.

She pulled the fabric down slowly over her breasts and stomach.

After that she reached for a pair of tight black pants. She bent forward to step into them, giving a clear view of the shape of her ass and the smooth backs of her thighs.

She pulled the pants up carefully, adjusting them around her hips and waist with both hands. The pants struggled past her plump ass.

From the doorway Kalon kept his eyes on her. He couldn’t help it.

It reminded him of that time he had watched her in the bathtub.

The way she moved. The way her body looked under the soft room light. He did not make a sound.

...

Inside the room, Thea knew he was there.

She had heard the front door earlier.

She had left her own door open on purpose.

Her heart was beating faster than normal, but she forced herself to keep moving at a slow, steady pace.

She took her time with the shirt. She made sure to lift her arms higher than necessary so the curve of her C-Cup breasts would show clearly before the fabric covered them.

When she bent down for the pants she stayed in the position a little longer than she needed to, back arched, legs slightly apart.

She was nervous.

Part of her wanted to turn around and tell him to stop looking, but that was just her virginity innocence.

In truth, she wanted him to keep watching. This was her nature when it came to Kalon.

She adjusted the waistband of her pants with slow fingers, smoothing the fabric over her hips and the underside of her ass.

Then she reached for a light jacket and slipped one arm into it, then the other, still facing away from the door.

Her breathing was not completely steady. She could feel his eyes on her skin even without turning around.

The knowledge made her nipples stiffen under the new shirt. She pretended to fix the collar so she could stay in place a few seconds longer.

Kalon shifted his weight in the hallway. The old wooden floor under the carpet gave a short, low creak.

Thea froze.

She turned her head first, then her whole body, until she was facing the door.

Her blue eyes met his through the open gap.

Her cheeks were pink, and so were his.

She stood there with one hand still on the jacket, looking straight at him.

Neither of them spoke at first.

Thea’s blue eyes stayed locked on his. Her cheeks were pink.

"Kalon... I didn’t know you were there," she lied.

The words were clear. Her voice sounded believable.

...

Kalon’s title activated on its own.

Light Bringer told him the truth immediately. She was lying...

She had known he was standing in the hallway. She had known the whole time she was getting dressed.

But why?

An idea popped into his head.

He stepped into the room and closed the door behind him with a quiet click. Thea’s body tensed, but she did not move back.

"You’re lying," Kalon said with a smirk. "You knew I was watching."

Thea’s face turned a deeper red. She opened her mouth, then closed it again. Her eyes flicked away for a second before returning to his.

"I... felt someone outside," she said finally. "I wasn’t completely sure it was you."

Another lie. The title confirmed it.

She knew exactly who it was. She wanted to be seen.

Kalon walked closer. Thea stayed where she was, back toward her bed, jacket still open. He stopped in front of her, close enough that she had to tilt her head slightly to keep looking at his face.

He was taller now.

"You left the door open on purpose," he said. "You took your time getting dressed because you knew I was there."

Thea’s breathing had changed. Her chest rose and fell faster. She did not deny it this time. Her silence was an answer.

Kalon lifted one hand and rested it against the side of her neck. Her skin was warm. He felt her pulse under his fingers.

Thea’s eyes widened a little at the sudden advancement, but she did not pull away.

"Is there something you want to say?" He asked her.

Thea’s voice came out quieter than before.

"I just wanted you to notice me."

It was the first time she ever admitted such words so openly.

Kalon took in a deep breathe and let it out.

Then he moved his hand from her neck to the open edge of her jacket.

He pushed it back off one shoulder.
