Seducing the Guideverse With My System — Raising an Anomaly [BL]
Chapter 371: _WARNING: Timeline BreachMeanwhile, in an ice-cream shop across Lake Geneva, Aura and Orion hopped out hand in hand, the latter giggling as he licked a vanilla ice-cream with no care in the world.
"Are we heading to another castle after this?" He asked, head arching to his AI aunty. "The last one was so cool! Daddy will be so jealous when we tell him about it."
"Oh, buddy." Aura stopped just to pinch him lightly on his cheek. "I’m looking forward to it."
"Daddy getting jealous or the next castle?"
"... Both. Let’s say both."
That brought another giggle from the boy.
From this distance they could clearly see the Geneva Summit Complex rising into the clouds like a titan.
Aura found herself staring a bit too long, flicking her tongue along her strawberry ice-cream. "Earth can be so fun after all..." she murmured, eyes scanning the walkway ahead.
Scanning the people moving about their lives, gossiping, laughing or attending to their respective jobs and businesses.
So simple. So mundane. Devoid completely of duties that could change the course of the multiverse’s fate.
Her fingers around Orion’s little hand twitched for a beat. The smile on her face dimmed—enough to make the boy notice after a couple more looks.
"Aunty? What’s the matter?"
Aura shook her head. "Oh," her smile returned. "I’m fine, little one. Aunt Aura here was just... thinking about—"
She didn’t get to finish.
Every sensor connected to the system’s interface glitched at once. Her silver orbs flickered, the ice-cream cone in her grip eventually slipping off and falling to the ground.
"What the—argh." Several screens flashed in front of her face, rushing with a stream of data she couldn’t decipher at first.
That was until a huge red ’warning’ screen grew past the others, bold and far more glaring than anything she’d seen throughout the length of Ambrose’s transmigration.

"Aunty?" Orion’s voice heightened with more confusion as her breathing quickened. "Are you sure you’re good? You’re... you don’t look good. Should we head back to the hotel?"
She shook her head, eyes locking on the summit tower yet again.
"We’ve got to get back to your daddy. Come on, buddy." Pulling the boy closer, she began running. "If you can’t keep up, tell me so I’ll carry you!"

Back at the Grand Hunters Conclave
Kali let the murmurs settle before speaking again.
"The reason I believe diplomacy is possible is that we’ve already witnessed it."
The hall quieted almost immediately.
"During the Purple Rift incident, I was contacted directly by the Elven Queen residing within that world." Her gaze swept across the delegates. "She crossed the dimensional barrier and established communication with me. Simply because, for a brief moment, the Rift weakened the walls separating our realities."
Several representatives straightened in their seats.
"So communication between worlds isn’t theoretical anymore," Kali continued. "We’ve already done it."
A hand shot up somewhere within the United Kingdom delegates.
"If that’s true," an elderly Guild Master asked, "then surely that was an isolated incident?"
"I would’ve agreed," Kali answered calmly. "Until another report reached the Pantheon three days ago."
She turned her attention toward the American delegation.
"Hunter Viktor Morozov of the Glacial Falcon Guild."
The sudden mention of his name made Viktor blink. "Huh?"
Dozens of heads turned toward him.
He instinctively shrank back into his chair before Ambrose met his eyes from beside him, giving the faintest nod.
’Go ahead.’
Viktor let out a slow breath before rising.
"I... uh..." He rubbed the back of his neck. "Everything Hunter Kali said is true."
The room remained deathly silent.
"When our combined raid entered the S-Rank Snow Rift, I became separated from my team." He paused briefly. "I was captured by the Veyr. An intelligent race within the dungeon."
Instant murmurs erupted.
"They kidnapped you?"
"I knew those things couldn’t be trusted."
"So they really are hostile."
"No." Viktor’s voice cut through the growing noise. "They restrained me because they believed I was the threat."
That silenced everyone again.
"The Veyr weren’t trying to invade Earth." His expression grew more serious. "Their world is experiencing the same thing we are."
Several brows furrowed.
"They’ve also begun seeing abnormal Rifts opening throughout their lands. Foreign creatures appear without warning. Entire ecosystems have been disrupted. Their warriors have been dying trying to contain them." He looked around the hall. "When they found me, they assumed I was responsible."
A stunned hush settled over the delegates.
"So..." someone whispered. "It isn’t just us."
"Correct," Viktor replied. "The Veyr are scared too."
Kali picked up seamlessly.
"The Veyr. The Elves. Humanity." She folded her hands together. "Three entirely separate civilisations. Three entirely separate worlds. Yet every one of them reports the same increase in dimensional instability."
Her words became heavier with each sentence.
"This is no longer an Earth problem." She slowly looked around the chamber. "Reality itself is beginning to bleed."
Nobody interrupted her this time.
"The barriers separating worlds are weakening. Different realities. Different civilizations. Different timelines." Her eyes narrowed slightly. "They’re beginning to touch."
The weight of that statement visibly settled over the room.
Apollo’s booth illuminated next.
"If that is true," his composed voice echoed throughout the hall, "then our response should evolve accordingly."
Every delegate looked upward.
"We should begin establishing peaceful contact with intelligent civilisations encountered through future Rifts. If they are fighting the same phenomenon... then cooperation benefits every world involved."
A representative from Canada frowned. "You’re suggesting alliances with aliens?"
"With civilisations," Apollo corrected evenly. "There is a difference."
The room erupted into discussion once more.
Then—
"Objection." President Josiah rose from his seat.
The hall gradually fell quiet again.
"What guarantee," he asked, his voice measured but firm, "do we have that these civilisations won’t become another enemy? That once contact is established, they won’t simply use these unstable pathways to invade Earth instead?"
Agreement rippled through several delegations.
It was a fair question.
Before Kali could answer... A chair slid softly against the floor.
Ambrose slowly raised one hand.
"Council Speaker," he said evenly, every eye in the chamber turning toward humanity’s newest SS-Rank, "permission to speak?"
