Chapter 320: Moonlight Spar With Two Beauties

Rhain placed both of his hands casually behind his back.

"I will keep my hands right here," Rhain smiled playfully, " You two can attack me together with everything you have. Do not hold back."

Seris and Liana exchanged a competitive glance.

"Don’t underestimate us, husband!" Seris giggled, her aura instantly reaching to the peak of the Spirit Manifestation Realm.

"Here we go!" Liana warned, her own Spirit Manifestation essence erupting.

Swoosh!

The two girls launched forward simultaneously, their movements swift and coordinated.

Seris aimed a graceful thrust directly at his chest, while Liana swept low, her blade arcing toward his side in a perfect pincer attack.

They were fast, extremely fast for their realm.

But in Rhain’s eyes, they were moving in slow motion.

Rhain calmly stood on his spot until their attacks were mere an inch away from him.

His footwork shifted almost imperceptibly.

With the mysteries of the Heaven-Grade Boundless Sky Wind perfectly integrated into his movements, his body simply swayed like a phantom leaf caught in a breeze.

Seris’s blade pierced empty air, missing his chest by less than a millimeter.

Liana’s sweeping slash cleanly cut through a fading afterimage.

"Your wrist is too stiff, Seris," Rhain’s calm voice came from behind her. "You are still forcing the essence into the blade instead of letting it flow naturally."

Seris gasped, immediately spinning around and unleashing a flurry of rapid, icy strikes.

Rhain swayed left, right, and leaned back, easily dodging a dozen lethal slashes without taking his hands out from behind his back.

Clang!

Liana leaped into the air, bringing her sword crashing down toward his shoulder.

Rhain merely took a casual half-step to the side, letting her momentum carry her past him.

"Liana, your footwork is trailing behind your blade," Rhain critiqued sharply, his dark grey eyes tracking her every micro-movement. "You are putting too much weight into the initial strike, leaving your left flank completely wide open. If I were an enemy, you would be dead right now."

Liana felt embarassed, biting her lip as she immediately adjusted her stance. "I understand!"

For the next half hour, the quiet courtyard echoed with the sharp whistling of swords and Rhain’s precise instructions.

Despite their relentless, combined assaults, the two girls were entirely unable to even touch Rhain’s shadow.

He moved through their flashing blades with an elegant ease, his hands remaining firmly clasped behind his back the entire time.

Finally, exhausted and panting heavily,

Seris and Liana dropped their swords, their chests heaving as they halted in their tracks.

"You... you are just too fast, husband," Seris pouted adorably, her cheeks puffed out as she tried to catch her breath.

Rhain let out a hearty laugh, finally bringing his hands forward.

"You both did exceptionally well," Rhain praised genuinely, his dark grey eyes filled with a soft warmth as he looked at the two beautiful, sweat-drenched girls. "Your foundations are solid. If we were in the same realm, it wouldn’t have been so easy for me."

Liana let out a long, exhausted breath, wiping the sweat from her snow-white forehead with the back of her hand.

"I think I have reached my limit for tonight," Liana smiled weakly, "I am going to wash up and go to sleep. Thank you for the guidance, Rhain."

"Rest well, Liana," Rhain nodded calmly.

Liana turned and walked toward her designated room in the courtyard, leaving the two of them alone under the silver moonlight.

Once the courtyard was quiet, Rhain’s dark grey eyes shifted back to Seris.

She was still panting slightly, her chest heaving as she looked up at him with those sparkling, pale purple eyes.

Her breathtakingly beautiful face was flushed a charming, rosy pink from the exertion.

Rhain took a step forward, closing the distance between them.

Before Seris could even react, Rhain smoothly wrapped his arms around her slender waist and lifted her effortlessly off the ground, sweeping her into his arms.

"Husband!" Seris gasped softly, her delicate arms instinctively wrapping around his neck to steady herself.

Her flawless face instantly burned a deep crimson.

"You have trained enough for today," Rhain murmured with possesive affection. "Besides... it has been quite some time since I properly loved my beautiful wife."

Hearing the desire in his voice, Seris’s heart hammered wildly against her ribs.

She simply buried her blushing face into his chest, her voice coming out as a tiny, shy whisper. "Mm..."

Rhain let out a warm chuckle.

He carried her directly into the chamber, the doors clicking shut behind them.

Next morning.

After signing in and getting a random herb as a reward, Rhain spent some quiet time holding Seris in his arms, enjoying the serene peace and her sweet, sleepy smiles.

Eventually, he gently extracted himself from the bed.

"I need to head to the Celestial Elixir Pavilion today," Rhain explained helplessly under Seris’s unwilling gaze. "There are preparations that must be made for the upcoming duel with the Alchemy Emperor."

Although she was reluctant, Seris could only nod obediently, "Be careful, husband."

Rhain closed his dark grey eyes, silently circulating the disguise technique he had acquired from the Crucible Arena’s secret auction.

Buzz—!

The space around his face rippled strangely.

In the blink of an eye, his handsome face was replaced by an entirely forgettable man.

Even Seris, who knew his soul signature better than anyone, blinked in sheer astonishment.

If she hadn’t watched the transformation with her own eyes, she would never have recognized the man standing before her.

"I will be back soon," the ordinary-looking man spoke, though his voice still carried Rhain’s gentle affection.

With a swirl of his robes, Rhain slipped out of the secluded guest courtyard, seamlessly blending into the bustling morning crowds of Valdris City.

Soon, the towering structure of the Celestial Elixir Pavilion came into view.

Instead of walking through the grand front doors, Rhain deliberately bypassed the main street and slipped into a hidden back alley.

He channeled a faint thread of his dark essence, sending a direct mental transmission to Vulcan.

Less than a minute later, the reinforced back door clicked open.

Vulcan’s massive, scarred frame appeared in the doorway.

Seeing the utterly ordinary man standing in the alley, Vulcan frowned for a split second before his sharp instincts recognized the familiar soul-binding connection.

"Master?" Vulcan asked respectfully, his voice full of awe at the deceitful disguise.

Rhain simply nodded, stepping past Vulcan into the secure inner halls of the Pavilion.

Once the heavy doors were sealed behind them, Rhain shifted his features once more.

Swoosh—!

The ordinary face dissolved, instantly replaced by the dignified, scholarly, and unfathomably deep visage of Grandmaster Korryn.

"Gather everyone," Rhain commanded with a calm voice, "Call all the Domain Masters, including my seven enforcers. Bring them to the hall immediately."

"Understood, Master!" Vulcan bowed, his eyes lighting up with anticipation.

Within a few minutes, fourteen Domain Masters and Vulcan stood in a respectful formation.

Skullcrusher, Deathblade, Peregrine, Bloodfiend, Bonebreaker, Gloomfang, and Stormhammer stood on one side.

The seven newly recruited guest elders stood on the other.

All of them were staring at the dignified figure of Grandmaster Korryn standing at the center of the room.
