Chapter 319: Chapter 319: Utter Disregard

Chapter 319: Utter Disregard

Rhain walked directly toward the highly restricted upper floors of the Valdris Royal Academy’s library.

The higher he ascended, the denser the spiritual pressure became.

There were no ordinary disciples here.

Stationed before the towering, array-sealed doors of the top floor were several elite instructors.

Every single one of them radiated the oppressive aura of early to middle stage Domain Master Realm expert.

The moment Rhain’s boots touched the polished wooden floorboards, every single pair of eyes locked onto him.

Their gazes were filled with undisguised hostility and deep resentment.

Rhain could practically hear the venomous thoughts crossing their minds.

He completely ignored them.

Rhain walked straight past the scowling instructors, heading directly toward the most heavily guarded section of the floor.

Before him rows of ancient, glowing scrolls hovered within individual, hyper-compressed array barriers.

These were the true foundational secrets of the Academy—the comprehensive texts detailing the laws of the world and ultimate martial arts.

An instructor sneered from a distance, fully expecting the Rhain to be repelled by the intricate seals.

But Rhain didn’t even raise his hand to touch the barriers.

His dark grey eyes instantly ignited with a piercing golden light.

Eyes of Truth!

He didn’t even need to touch the scrolls or break the protective seals. The golden light pierced directly through the complex array matrices, laying bare the profound truths hidden within as clearly as words written on an open page.

’Let’s begin,’ Rhain thought calmly.

His vast, ocean-like spiritual sea spun fiercely, rapidly dissecting and assimilating centuries of hoarded knowledge.

Rhain stood in front of the first scroll, his eyes locking onto it for exactly forty seconds.

Then, without a single change in his placid expression, he took a step to the right and looked at the next one.

Forty seconds later, he moved again.

In his mind, a torrential flood of ancient knowledge was pouring continuously.

He sought out the foundational theories and the most profound secrets regarding the laws of the world.

Law of Fist. Law of Iron. Law of Fire. Law of Wind. Law of Sword. Law of Spear.

He absorbed them all, rapidly synthesizing the theoretical knowledge required to forge, stabilize, and completely optimize these specific Domains.

He could not actively wield these laws without their respective Origin Seeds, but that did not matter.

He was gathering this supreme knowledge to elevate Vulcan and his subdued Domain Master slaves.

If he could guide his subordinates to shatter their bottlenecks and perfect their Domains, his faction’s combat strength would undergo a qualitative leap.

But Rhain did not stop at simply gathering Domain theories.

His golden eyes swept across the restricted martial arts sections.

Within an hour, he discovered and completely memorized more than thirty new, highly aggressive Mystic-Grade Martial Arts.

Each one was a top-tier killing technique.

However, to the four elite Domain Master instructors watching him from the entrance, Rhain’s actions were an intolerable insult.

"Look at him," one of the instructors hissed through gritted teeth, his face turning ugly. "He doesn’t even spend a full minute on a single scroll!"

"He is just glancing at the sealed covers and moving on!" another instructor spat viciously. "Does he think our Valdris Academy’s supreme inheritance is some cheap picture book in a mortal market?"

"He brought a catastrophic disaster to our doors, and now he casually strolls in here to mock our sacred ground!"

The instructors’ chests heaved with furious indignation.

They could not draw their swords and strike him down, but their pride as exalted Domain Masters refused to let this arrogant, nineteen-year-old boy desecrate their library without consequence.

The four instructors exchanged a dark glance.

Without uttering a single word, they simultaneously unleashed their auras.

BOOM—!!!

Four middle-stage Domain Master auras surged outward, seamlessly merging into a single mountain of spiritual pressure that they ruthlessly projected directly onto Rhain’s back.

It wasn’t an attack but passive suppression.

A normal first-level Core Formation cultivator hit by this invisible, crushing weight would have instantly fall on their knees.

But standing in front of a floating scroll, Rhain did not even pause his reading.

The spiritual pressure crashed against his body like a gentle spring breeze blowing against an immovable mountain.

Abyssal Sovereign Physique was a tyrannical existence that stood above the natural order. Mere passive pressure from a few middle-stage Domain Masters was nothing but a laughable joke to him.

Rhain casually finished scanning the final Mystic-Grade martial art.

The golden light slowly faded from his pupils, returning to his usual, placid dark grey eyes.

He turned on his heel.

With his hands clasped casually behind his back, Rhain leisurely walked back down the aisle, heading directly toward the stairs.

As he passed the four elite instructors, his dark grey eyes swept over their pale faces.

Rhain didn’t speak a single word to them.

He simply offered them a cold glances that looked right through them, as if they were nothing more than insignificant dust, and walked down the stairs.

Leaving the petrified, infuriated instructors standing frozen in their own humiliation,

Rhain stepped out of the grand library.

He had obtained exactly what he needed.

His plan to elevate his entire faction’s combat strength was now fully formed.

---------------------

The night sky over Valdris City was clear, illuminated by a brilliant silver moon.

Rhain returned to his secluded guest courtyard.

Before he even entered the courtyard, the crisp, sharp sound of blades cutting through the air reached his ears.

Swoosh! Clang!

Rhain stepped inside and looked ahead.

Under the silver moonlight, a beautiful, mesmerizing scene was unfolding in the center of the courtyard.

Seris and Liana were fiercely sparring.

Seris wore a light, form-fitting training dress that perfectly accentuated her slender waist, her magnificent silver-blue hair fluttering gracefully with every movement.

Liana was dressed in a simple emerald tunic, her silver eyes focused and determined.

Both girls were wielding the gleaming, star-forged blades of the Mystic-Grade Light Heart Swords he had gifted them.

Clang!

Their blades met repeatedly with a resounding cry.

Sweat glistened on their snow-white foreheads, their breathing slightly ragged, yet they moved with a graceful, deadly elegance that was thoroughly captivating under the moonlight.

Rhain stood quietly by the entrance, a faint, warm smile brushing past his lips as he admired the beautiful sight.

Sensing his familiar aura, the two girls immediately halted their spar.

"Husband!" Seris’s pale purple eyes instantly lit up.

She lowered her silver blade and practically skipped over to him, her face flushed a charming, rosy pink from the exertion.

Liana followed closely behind, wiping a bead of sweat from her cheek with the back of her hand. "Rhain! You are back."

"I am," Rhain chuckled gently, "You two are training hard."

"Of course we are!" Seris nodded proudly, raising her Light Heart Sword. "We have to get stronger so we won’t be a burden to you anymore! Husband, since you are here... why don’t you join us? Spar with us for a bit!"

Liana’s emerald eyes also brightened with eager anticipation. "Yes, Rhain! Please, give us some pointers. We want to know how much we’ve improved."

Looking at their expectant faces, Rhain simply couldn’t refuse.

"Alright," Rhain laughed, stepping leisurely into the center of moonlit courtyard, "Let’s spar for a while."
