Slowly Falling into His Love Trap

Evelyn still shook her head, looking at the meat she just grilled, and thinking of the piece he refused in the afternoon, she didn’t have the courage to try again.

"I’ll take you back to your room to rest," Caden Lockwood said, helping Evelyn to her feet.

Cecilia Lynch gave Evelyn a cheering gesture in secret, but Evelyn looked bewildered, her gaze falling on Caden Lockwood, not knowing what she should do once she returned to her room.
