"It more than just worked. It worked perfectly." Taylor clarified with a scoff as she looked at the information on the panels. "All of our theories perfectly align with what has occurred. I will be honest, I was worried we might end the universe, but fortunately that did not happen."

Even Salem's head snapped over to Taylor at that. But rather than addressing it she just sighed and focused on something more important. "What about Jace? And what happened to the Nano Plague?"

"And what about this new System Interface thing?" General Dakota asked in confusion. "Why does it look so… different?"

"Because the Spectre Galaxy System was always a part of this plan. It also answers the same question about the Nano Plague. I am guessing that the moment it activated it dominated and wiped out the Nano Plague." Taylor explained with a sigh.

"But why do I have a system? I was not born with the nano system." A man pointed out from the side.

"Because it equals the playing field. Giving everyone a fair chance to grow. It also acts as a form of identification for citizens of our galaxy." Salem explained and then thought of something. "Reach out to the various battlefronts, make sure our enemies have dropped dead and tell them to confirm the kills. We can't risk an enemy having our system in their blood."

"This was the reason for all your secrecy, even from us." Director Fenrir mumbled. Then she began to chuckle and then began to loudly laugh before suddenly stopping. "Shit. I suppose I should have them stop the system experiments."

"That would be a good idea." Salem scoffed. "Although I am guessing you need to be more worried about how you are going to explain the system to the billions of people who just gained one."

"Oh gods… my people." Governor Oceania mumbled.

"You do not have to worry about that." Taylor yelled over her shoulder. "Jace planned ahead and had a messenger ready to talk to each colony in our borders as soon as it happened they would explain roughly what happened. But yeah, you should head back to your system soon. Especially now that the presentation is over and you have interacted with a few foreign governors and politicians."

"What about Commander Jace? He was in there when the process started." Fleet Commander Dakota pointed out.

"He went through the black hole the moment it opened. It was part of the plan he had and clearly it worked. But as for his location…" Taylor looked over at Salem.

Salem shrugged. "Sorry, but his psychic signature is too faint. I can only sense the direction. It will likely take a bit of time before we find him. Too that end…" She looked over at General Dakota. "I request a leave of absence to locate my husband."

"Take it." The General nodded and then smiled. "Tell him thank you as well. I can already tell what he had in mind for this new system just by looking at the new interface."

"I will. Now then," She looked back at Taylor. "The Lance of Thanatos has already been prepared for your command. Vana is already back on the planet and Captain Shilla is standing by and has been since before. Have fun!"

Salem bowed her head and then made her way toward an airlock where she could get picked up. It was time to go find her husband.

—---------------------------

Waking up was definitely one of the weirder experiences he had ever had. His eyes opened to find some type of colored paste covering part of his visor. While his body had been moved and through parts of his visor he could see he was on a raised seat in the center of a primitive village that was made of tents.

"Okay where am I now?" He asked as he moved but flinched in pain. Everything hurt and his stomach was in pain with how hungry he was. Which was something he had not had happened to him since before he entered the academy.

But as he moved he could pick up a noise. "Ahh!" "Oooo!" "Eeegg!" Those were definitely unique noises and looking towards the source he could see an array of hunched over creatures with fur covering parts of their body while cloth covered other parts. Somehow, in his entire galaxy, he had ended up on the one planet that had a primitive species that had not yet managed to obtain space travel and were still in the tribal stages of development.

"Okay…" He quietly mumbled as he slowly pulled himself up. Clearly these guys had seen him fall from the sky and assumed he was a god. But as he made his way down the primitive creatures scattered as he spotted something in the distance. On another raised platform, or rather an artificial hill, appeared a large metal cup made of ore with a fire burning inside. He could make out a few more of these creatures over there moving pieces of green wood to feed the green flames.

Then he heard the sound of thunder and the creatures that had curiously gotten closer jumped back and hid while Jace could tell that that was lightning followed by thunder. A moment later it happened again and Jace realized that it was getting closer and these creatures had the fire so high because lighting is what originally started it. But why did the rain not put it out?

He moved forward and toward the hill. He would need to get some lighting of his own to power the suit. So he would go where to where it would inevitably strike. The hill with a giant piece of metal ore that was acting as a lightning rod.

As he walked he noticed his movements were sluggish while his mind felt just as slow. But as he moved he realized that over time his movements were also getting better. Like his limbs were stiff from a nap. But he also knew he was only asleep for a few hours. So it must be part of going into a literal digital world between realities and then coming back. The technology was still primitive to them so they would not know all the effects of what happened.

He arrived at the top of the hill just as the rain arrived and found the creatures retreating away from the fire. Then he understood why the rain was not affecting the fire. It was not made up of the same stuff he was used to. Instead of interacting with the fire it would just filter off.

Krakow!

Lightning slammed into a tree in the distance and the creatures cheered while Jace could faintly make out the scream of a different creature. The arc of lighting was purple just like the clouds above then the tree leaves as far as he had seen.

Krakow!

Jace was hit square in the chest by a bolt of lightning and flew back through the air and onto the ground below as he wheezed and coughed. "Ahhh…" He groaned as his visor began to power up along with the rest of the systems in his armor. The excess electricity and energy was already absorbed and was strengthening his body again. But the soreness was not gone.

But now that his mind was less clouded he realized that his ability to heal from injuries had been muted for the moment. Because it was like a muscle and he had strained it too far and broken it. The only thing he could do was let it rest. He let out a breath of air as he reached up and wiped the combination of soot and colored paste from his helmet.

"Drop out of warp riding." Salem instructed as the mental signature became glaringly close. The moment they stopped they found themselves in the middle of a solar system with a blue sun in the distance. In front of them was the farthest planet from the sun. But it also happened to be outright weird.

"Umm…" Captain Shilla tilted her head. "Is that moon blue?" She asked aloud.

"It also appears to have been recently hit by an asteroid." One of her bridge officers announced. "That planet has plenty of life signs. Should we send down a search party?"

"No." Salem answered as she could feel her mind reconnect to Jace's now that they were close enough. She opened it to find his mind had been partially repaired but the background still looked like some type of hellscape. She opened the door between their minds and found Jace laying in the grace with a frown. "Jace…"

"Hey Salem, you are going to want to send a stealth ship. I am currently a cultural or possibly religious symbol for a group of primitive beings. It would be best if I disappeared in a flashy and unexplainable fashion." He informed her quickly. "Also I am going to need a medbay."

"A medbay? You mean an infirmary? Exactly how injured are you?" Salem asked in surprise.

"I have a ton of broken limbs and bones. My armor is keeping me together at the moment but even that is running low on power. I also think I lost a lung at some point. It is remarkably difficult to breathe." Jace informed her as he sighed. "I also need a refill of electricity."

Salem pulled her mind back. "Take a stealth ship down and do a short range teleportation. The type that makes those ripples in air and make visible particle effects." Salem informed them. "Apparently he is currently being worshiped so it would be a good idea to take him away."

"What should we do with the tribe?" Shilla asked.

"Nothing. I believe they fall under the new Primitive limited interaction. Until they launch something into space, no one will be allowed on this planet. Make sure you send a notice to the galactic government so they can send a long distance observational satellite." Salem informed them as she visibly relaxed now that she knew Jace was fine.

"What should we label the planet?" One of the officers asked. "It has been hidden from our sensors so…"

"Give it a temporary name, Omega One. I am sure the galactic government has their own naming scheme." Salem informed them as she turned to walk away.
