Spider-Trinity: Reborn Into Marvel Universe
Chapter 153: Storage Space For AxePrime Multiverse.
A portal opened above a rooftop, causing the area to glow for several seconds before the light disappeared and revealed a man wearing a suit recognized by almost everyone.
Peter stood and looked around.
It was night.
"Cortana. I want the time and date. I also want confirmation that we are back in our dimension."
"Wait a second...."
Several seconds passed.
"This is our dimension, and only thirty minutes have passed," she said, sounding slightly surprised.
"Most likely, the One Above All temporarily slowed time in this place."
"Impressive."
"Yeah. How about we go home and take a well-deserved nap?"
"I like that idea."
The man took out what appeared to be a miniature device and opened another portal. He shoved the woman through it and followed her inside, both portals closing almost simultaneously.
"WHO WAS THAT?" Cortana shouted.
Peter stared at the place where the two people had disappeared not saying anything.
Then he sighed and massaged his forehead as a sudden headache began forming.
We have not even properly met yet and you are already giving me a headache, he thought.
With another sigh, he jumped from the rooftop and began swinging toward home. As he moved across the city, he chatted with Cortana about some of the things he had seen in the different dimension, several of which pleasantly surprised her.
Once he arrived home, Peter entered through a hidden passage and made his way toward the Cave. When he reached it, he began removing his equipment until he was wearing only his boxers.
As he passed the workbench, he stopped.
Slowly turning around, he noticed a completely black gift resting there.
Peter stared at it suspiciously before using sonar to scan the object. Detecting nothing unusual, he approached and pulled the gray ribbon.
Nothing happened.
He removed the lid and found an envelope inside.
"Hello, dear.
I give you this as a token of my gratitude for all the gifts you gave me. Keep it up, stick one to your body. I recommend your back. By the way, it will disappear whenever you want.
Stick the other to the handle of your axe. Then put your axe in that place and you will see something amazing.
Finally, let it go. If you want to keep it inside, simply think about it.
With love, D."
Peter stared at the letter in surprise not knowing who might the person be.
Looking inside the box again, he saw what appeared to be a body decal. Examining it closely, he noticed the image of a great Ouroboros dragon devouring its own tail. The second decal was similar, except it contained several runes in the center.
Just as Peter was about to call the axe, he looked to his left and saw that it was already there.
He assumed it was the gift of the One Above All.
But was it really so?
Peter picked up the dragon decal containing the runes and placed it against the axe handle. Instantly, as though burning into heated metal, the image formed directly on the handle while the original sheet disappeared.
Taking the second decal carefully, he positioned it on his back with the assistance of an NS-5.
The moment it touched the chosen location, Peter felt as though someone were tattooing the image directly into his skin. The sensation was uncomfortable, but nothing he could not endure.
Once the process ended, the NS-5 showed him the completed image on his back.
Peter was impressed by how beautiful it looked.
Following the instructions in the letter, he placed the axe against the tattoo and released it, expecting to hear the weapon hit the floor.
No sound came.
Peter looked behind himself and saw that the axe was fixed to his back.
He repeated the process several times until he was satisfied. Then, remembering the other instruction, he thought about putting the weapon away.
The axe disappeared.
Peter’s eyes widened.
Thinking about bringing it back, he watched as the axe reappeared in a swirl of red particles.
A storage space for the axe, allowing me to carry it everywhere without concern, Peter thought.
Despite being impressed by what he now possessed, he decided there was no reason to display the tattoo constantly. The moment he thought about concealing it, the image gradually faded until it became completely invisible.
Satisfied, Peter stored the axe within the tattooed space and headed toward the elevator.
All he wanted now was to reach the bedroom and enjoy a well-deserved nap.
He thought about tomorrow and all the things he still needed to do, some of which excited him enough that he knew they could keep him awake. But after the dimensional journey, he needed rest.
Strangely, traveling back had exhausted him far more than the journey there.
For now, he would sleep and recover his energy.
