Deep within an unanchored, blood-soaked Zone on the planet Rilth, the sky burned in a tempest of crimson and black.

Rosh stood amidst a mountain of slaughtered Calamity beasts, his void-born form pulsing with cosmic starlight as smoke rose from his dark-taloned hands. For six long, agonizing years, his internal body had been a battleground. Ever since he had torn the dark core out of his brother’s chest on Earth, a stubborn, resisting energy had fought his own spatial core every single second, inflicting tormenting backlash and crippling his higher-tier abilities.

Then, in a single, sudden microsecond... the resistance vanished.

The suffocating pressure inside Rosh’s chest abruptly evaporated. The resisting mana that had clung to his internal channels dissolved into nothingness, leaving his spatial pathways completely clear and his authority fully restored.

Rosh froze, his featureless, starry head tilting in profound shock. He raised his dark hands, flexing his talons as raw, unrestricted spatial energy surged effortlessly through his frame.

It was weird. It made no sense. For six years, he had utilized every dregs of his power trying to crush and digest that stolen core, only for it to resist relentlessly. How could a force so deeply rooted inside his foundation simply disappear in a fraction of a second? Frustration and a gnawing, uneasy suspicion flared hot in his chest.

He needed answers.

Without a moment’s hesitation, Rosh tore open a dimensional rift in the fabric of space and stepped through, bound for the territory of Qrith.

Qrith was known across Rilth as his personal domain—a vast, jagged landscape of obsidian spires and dark mana storms. To the lesser Calamity Lords and the wild beasts that roamed the realm, Rosh was the undisputed lord of Qrith. But Rosh knew the truth. He was not the true master of this land. He was merely a warden standing guard over something far greater, far older, and infinitely more terrifying.

Rosh materialized before the mouth of a massive, subterranean abyss carved deep beneath Qrith’s central mountain. He didn’t come here often. In truth, the place terrified him to his core.

Swallowing hard, his void-born form shuddered as he stepped over the threshold and began hovering down the pitch-black, vertical tunnel. The further he descended, the colder the air became. The ambient mana didn’t just thin out; it transformed entirely into a heavy, stagnant pressure that isolated the subterranean space from the rest of reality, as if he were stepping out of Rilth and into a completely different dimension.

Rosh’s feet finally hit solid, polished marble floorboards with a soft, echoing thud.

He kept his head lowered, his posture rigid and submissive, walking forward in dead silence as the surrounding gloom slowly retreated. Emerging from the shadows was a vast, subterranean cathedral crafted entirely from pristine white stone. Resting at the far end of the hall stood a majestic, white ivory throne.

Seated upon the throne was a figure shrouded in ethereal majesty. She possessed long, flowing silver-white hair that cascaded over her shoulders like liquid starlight, while her face was completely concealed beneath a shimmering, illusory white cloth that defied all physical perception.

Rosh stopped at a respectful distance, dropping heavily to one knee and pressing his fist against the cold marble.

"Why are you here?"

The lady’s voice echoed through the vast hall—serene, melodic, and layered with an ancient, omnipotent weight that made the very air vibrate.

Rosh hesitated for a fraction of a second, his dual-layered voice coming out raspy and uncertain. "Can you... tell what has happened with my body?"

The lady on the ivory throne did not shift her posture. Her slitted, invisible gaze rested upon him from behind the illusory cloth.

"The energy that you were trying to swallow has returned to its owner," she answered flatly.

BOOM.

Rosh’s starry blue irises widened in soul-crushing shock. The revelation struck his mind like a physical blow. Returned to its owner?!

That could only mean one single, impossible truth: Hide Volter had Awakened.

How could this be possible?! Rosh shrieked in his own mind, his spatial core wildly surging with chaotic energy. I tore his core out with my own hands! I left him a hollow, bleeding husk on the floor! How could an unawakened human child recreate a core and reclaim his stolen power?!

A sudden, volcanic wave of fury exploded inside Rosh. The humiliation, the years of internal agony, and the lingering threat of his brother’s potential turned his blood into liquid fire. If the boy had awakened, then Rosh would not make the same mistake twice. He would cross dimensions immediately, find Hide and completely vaporize every single atom of his existence.

Driven by blind rage, Rosh stood up without asking permission, turning his back on the throne to open a spatial tear and depart for Earth.

BANG!

Before his boot could take a single step forward, an unfathomable, catastrophic pressure detonated directly above his head!

It was pure, absolute divine will. The crushing force slammed into Rosh’s shoulders with the weight of a falling continent, instantly buckling his legs and smashing his knees violently back onto the hard marble floor. Rosh let out a choked, agonizing gasp, his void talons digging into the stone as he struggled frantically just to keep his face from being flattened against the floorboards.

"I know you are going back to Earth," the lady’s voice rang out, no longer serene, but carrying a cold, terrifying authority that paralyzed his very soul.

Rosh gulped hard, cold sweat breaking out across his void form. How did she know...? I didn’t say a word...

"I know everything," she stated smoothly, as if reading his exact thoughts.

A bone-chilling shudder rippled down Rosh’s spine. He was violently reminded of where he stood and who sat before him. She was not a Primordial Overlord like other S ranked beasts. She was a literal God—a supreme entity whose foresight and power governed the fates of entire worlds, someone whose commands could never be questioned or defied.

The lady leaned forward slightly on her ivory throne, her voice cutting through the heavy pressure like a razor-sharp blade:

"Do not dare kill Hide Volter yourself," she commanded. "Also... look for a being named Doom Overseer. He is hiding on Earth."

Rosh gritted his teeth, the sheer weight of her presence suffocating his internal core. He had no choice. He possessed no strength to resist.

"As... as you wish," Rosh rasped out, bowing his head until his forehead touched the cold marble.

The moment the words left his throat, the suffocating divine pressure vanished as quickly as it had arrived. Rosh scrambled to his feet in a hurry, not daring to offer another glance toward the ivory throne, and practically bolted up the vertical tunnel out of the subterranean fortress.

Reaching the desolate surface of Qrith, Rosh raised his right hand and tore open a jagged, bruised-purple spatial gate leading directly to Earth.

He paused at the glowing threshold, a flicker of hesitation touching his eyes. He vividly remembered the last time he had attempted to cross dimensions while carrying Hide’s resisting core energy—the volatile friction had disrupted his spatial calculations, causing him to get hopelessly lost in the untamed, chaotic void between worlds for two entire months before he managed to anchor himself back onto Rilth.

But it should be fine now, Rosh thought, taking a deep breath. The resisting energy is gone. His spatial authority is absolute once again.

Stepping firmly through the portal, the dimensional transition was instantaneous and flawless.

Rosh emerged in the physical world, stepping onto the damp asphalt of a dark, secluded alleyway in Area 17. The cool, smog-filled air of Earth filled his lungs. Raising his hand, Rosh snapped his fingers. Instantly, his non-Euclidean void form dissolved, replaced by his charming, handsome human template—complete with fine silver-white hair, brilliant green eyes, and an immaculate formal suit. He casually stepped out of the alleyway, blending seamlessly into the bustling civilian crowd on the main street.

Rosh expanded his spatial perception, tracing his brother’s biological signature across the district grid. It didn’t take long.

Rosh watched from the shadows as the eighteen-year-old silver-haired youth walked out of the building and met with his closest friends, Kai and Risa. Rosh’s green eyes narrowed into lethal slits. Through his perception, he could see it clearly: a fresh, vibrant, and extraordinarily dense core was pulsing inside Hide’s chest, radiating a unique, unprecedented authority.

’The bastard actually did it...’ Rosh growled internally, his fists clenching inside his suit pockets. He formed a new core!

Rosh silently stalked them through the commercial district, keeping his distance as Hide, Kai, and Risa stepped into Kai’s sleek, dark hover-car parked at the curb.

Watching the three teenagers laugh and talk inside the vehicle, the divine Goddess’s strict warning echoed in Rosh’s mind: Do not dare kill Hide Volter yourself.

A cruel, sadistic smirk slowly spread across Rosh’s handsome face. ’Fine. I won’t kill Hide... but I never promised to spare his precious little friends.’

As Kai shifted the hover-car into drive and accelerated down the main avenue. They had not made it too far when Rosh’s eyes flared with a dangerous, dark light.

He raised his gloved hand and made a sharp, sweeping gesture.

CRACK!

Directly in front of the speeding hover-car, barely ten feet ahead on the asphalt, reality violently tore wide open! A massive 2-Star One-Way Gate exploded into existence, disgorging a wave of corrupted dark mana and the roaring, razor-sharp maws of feral Calamity beasts straight into the vehicle’s path!

Rosh didn’t stay to watch the collision. Snapping his fingers once more, he melted into the spatial void and vanished from the street, a dark, arrogant chuckle echoing in the wind as he left the car to plummet straight into the abyss of death.
