New Martial powerhouses echoed the Human King’s roar. “Get him!!”
“You’re gonna be rich today, Ole Light!”
The Light master’s jaw dropped as he was dragged along in their wake.
“That’s the previous generation dao master of my world...” he couldn’t help but say.
“Is he your old man?” asked the Human King.
“Well, no...”
“Your master?”
“Not that either. He just gave me some pointers once...”
“That’s no big deal. He’s a guy who abandoned his world. He’s a traitor of Light major world and stripped your dao origin to incorporate into another world. No wonder a veteran eighth rank like you is so weak!
“You’re probably older than Chaos Sky, but look at what you’ve done for yourself! He cut off your dao of light! If not, you’d be a peak eighth rank at the very least. What else are you considering?”
Oh, is that so?
...that makes sense!
The Light master was no fool. It was just that the Human King’s words put him in an awkward spot. He’s the previous generation dao master, so it seems normal that he ran off and took a lot of dao origin with him. Look at me, I lost the entire world!
Am I a traitor?
But... the Human King makes some sense too.
That’s right, he’s the one who betrayed Light major world. If it wasn’t for him, this wouldn’t be the limit of our strength. I’m a veteran exalted emperor, but only have three thousand dao rules. That puts me below a lot of others!
The Light master hesitated, but looked at Flare Sun and the others.
“We execute a traitor of Light major world today! Kill!” Flare Sun suddenly grit his teeth.
Get him!
We don’t know that guy, I only know my big brother! In that case, killing him means that I can enter eighth rank. What’s all this hesitation for then, huh?
“Boss, kill him! You’ve got to think about Ming Tang even if you don’t do it for yourself. He cultivates both light and darkness, but he lacks energy in both of them. Look at Skyward up ahead, they have both light and dark envoys!”
That finally touched the Light master. That was right!
It’s fine for me since I’m old, but my son is very young and a peerless genius. He’s mastered six daos of the extremities at one thousand years old. But now that he’s entered eighth rank, he’ll have a very difficult time increasing his strength.
The power of light and darkness that he has at the moment is far from enough.
If he didn’t do this for himself, he had to think of his son. As for the previous generation dao master teaching him the Divine Fist of Light...
Well, there were plenty of people who knew that method. Not to mention, he’d been the one to turn his back on the world first...
After comforting himself for a while, the Light emperor ceased protesting and erupted with light energy. “So it’s you, you traitor?! How dare you voluntarily reveal your identity?! You extracted so much dao strength when you abandoned the world that you nearly caused our demise!
“You ended the hope of Light major world, yet you dare show yourself now! Traitors deserve death!”
The light envoy started, his face twitching. Damn it! He’d thought that he might be able to recruit a helper to their side after encountering the current Light world master, or sow some dissension among the New Martial ranks if he couldn’t manage it. But the man clapped a huge crime on his head instead!
Traitor!
And there was nothing he could do to deny it!
It was true that he was a dao master who’d abandoned his world and taken a large sum of strength with him. That had directly weakened the world... and even affected its potential. There didn’t seem to be a problem with the current dao master cursing him out.
It was just...
And yourself?
You lost the world too!! I don’t sense it anymore! So how do you have the nerve to say this about me??
He didn’t have a chance to retort as those of New Martial acted extremely swiftly. The Human King wielded a massive blade, sending a blow through the air. He was extremely crazed and yelled savagely, “Kill! Kill the exalted emperors of light and dark. Seize the dao origin for Ole Light!”
“Kill!”
“Kill!” The group of exalted emperors shouted in a much more fervent and crazed fashion than the chaos beasts. Those unaware of the situation might actually think that New Martial was the instigator of war instead.
The chaos beast exalted emperors watched with wide eyes. Black Tiger, Feng Yan, Qingqiu, and a few others threw their heads back with howls as well! How could their fighting spirit be less than a group of outsiders?!
These humans were screeching and wailing like they were angrier, more impulsive, and crazier than chaos beasts! This was to be New Martial!
The Human King ripped through the air with his blade and smashed it down on the envoys of light and dark.
“Light, Dark, Yin, and Yang are all mine!” he shouted. “New Martial will kill four exalted emperors. You guys take care of the rest!”
“Good, very good!” Long Zhan rumbled with laughter. It was now that he suddenly discovered... how adorable the Human King’s arrogance could be.
One would hate his madness if they were enemies. The Human King was completely brazen and insane every time he fought. It gave his enemies such a headache and they’d want to vomit blood from frustration.
But when the Human King was on his side...
That madman had taken responsibility for four extremely tough opponents as soon as he showed up. That generally wasn’t the case, even from reinforcements. But he’d shown up and called out those four by name!
That was the best kind of teammate to have!
The Human King’s blade cleaved the battlefield into two. “I’ll take Light and Dark! Ole Zhang, lead the rest against Yin and Yang. Who dares call themselves yin and yang apart from New Martial?!”
Supreme Zhang chuckled and walked through the air. His book of great dao hovered next to him as he declared coldly, “New Martial exalted emperors, follow me in exterminating these two. How dare anyone call themselves yin and yang when New Martial exists?!”
That was the sole jurisdiction of New Martial! Such was the extent of their tyranny!
It was not permitted even though Skyward’s envoys of yin and yang had existed one million years ago. Either they changed their name, or they died!
The envoys of yin and yang were heavyweights in their own right. They’d been chasing Red Moon up, but now colored with shock. How domineering!
This group of incredibly young humans were overweeningly proud, even more so than Skyward...
How could such people exist in the chaos?
You guys don’t own the yin and yang moniker!
Not even the dao master of yin and yang cared about their titles, so where did these people get off on?
Boom!
An explosion rang out before they had a chance to speak. The New Martial exalted emperors threw out energy bombs one after another.
The entire void shook from the disturbance. It was negligible to eighth ranks, but that didn’t seem to be the effect that New Martial was after.
Fiery light flared and reflected off of something. The illumination spread through the chaos!
The Divine Forge Emperor flung out a massive mirror. The Human King’s form appeared on it! It was projected to the entire chaos!
The battlefield seemed to still for one split second...
“How can only one person enjoy cutting down the demons of Skyward?” The Human King’s brazen laughter echoed through the void. “This king is going to tell all worlds and cultivators in existence today that I... am truly unparalleled!”
His long blade illuminated the worlds as it slashed at the light envoy! The massive mirror faithfully replicated this scene to the four corners of the universe!
“......” Even Long Zhan paused with shock. What... did this count for? The Human King was seriously too high profile!
It was the dragon’s first time encountering someone like this. Did a cultivator like this care about his dignity or not?
The dragon didn’t know!
He simply knew that New Martial exalted emperors really did support their king. They had a seventh rank personally forge an imperial weapon just to curry favor with their ruler. The seventh rank wasn’t even going to participate in battle. He just needed to maintain the operations of the mirror!
The massive projection promptly covered the four regions!
The Divine Forge Emperor looked at his creation with great excitement. The massive mirror continued to furiously expand its coverage. He suddenly looked back at the open-mouthed dragon. “Senior Long Zhan, shall we project your image for a bit too? You can be famous throughout the chaos!
“One hundred million dao crystals will be sufficient for half an hour. One billion will ensure that we also have it trained on you. Anyone who wants to be renowned can put in a bid!”
“How dare you!” The Human King purpled with outrage as he let loose with a furious barrage at the two envoys. “Who allowed you to do this?!”
“We’re out of money! All of this costs energy!” bleated the Divine Forge Emperor. “We can make back some of our costs if we sell our services!”
Fang Ping was quiet for a split second before he howled, “Fuck it! Kill them all! We’ll have money when we kill them all! You’re not allowed to buy a broadcast slot, Long Zhan...”
“......” The dragon wanted to cry. I’m fighting too, I’m killing enemies. This is a battle for the future and survival of my race! I’m not interested in doing this with you. I wouldn’t want it even if you gave it to me!
You guys are crazy, aren’t you??
And this band of crazies is here to help me!
The key was, they really were very strong. The Human King might have counted for one person before, but now he could suppress two by himself. He wasn’t so strong that he overpowered them, but was charging forward completely heedless of death.
His long blade waved around madly and he ignored everything. This was an existence that was hard for anyone to withstand.
The gigantic mirror faithfully reproduced everything in the various corners of the chaos!
The Human King didn’t seem to care that this would expose his cultivation. What did that matter? It was a waste of a fight if no one knew about it!
He’d always been weak and never feared others learning of his trump cards. It’s useless so long as you don’t grow as fast as I do. All the information you have will be outdated!
“The Human King is mighty!” Cries rang in the void.
“We congratulate the Human King! We congratulate the Martial King!” someone else roared, like they’d overcome the enemy already and this was their battlefield. The chaos beasts were just along for the ride.
Long Zhan... finally understood in this moment that this was a bunch he couldn’t afford to provoke. They really weren’t afraid of death. No matter their enemy or the straits they found themselves in, they remained so optimistic that they were lunatics.
