Wilderness (5th Zone)
Boom!
The rocks erected like surrounding walls were blasted away by the sand vortex attack. Yet the legs of the Lizard beast were frozen like a statue.
Roar!
The Tier-9 Earth Lizard let out an unwilling roar. The beast couldn’t move its legs. It was furious. It swept its gaze across. The beast’s gaze settled on the Stone Lizard.
It found the culprit. The beast grew maddened.
Boom!
An overwhelming Tier-9 pressure erupted from its body. It caused shockwaves to ripple through the area.
It swept away the rock walls and other debris.
Crack!
The stone power covering the legs was affected by the pressure, which immediately cracked the stone which covering the legs.
In the blink of an eye, the cracks spread across the surface. The stone pieces began falling down to the ground.
It didn’t take long for the lizard beast to use its legs again.
It once again recalled why it wanted to enter the wilderness. It recalled the enticing scent. The Tier-9 Lizard Beast once again tried to march forward.
Screeech!
But the Tier-8 Golden Eagle didn’t give it a chance. It constantly attacked the lizard beast’s head to distract it from its path.
Roar!
The Brown Rock Salamander and the Stone Lizard faced their first setback. But they didn’t back down. They once again began to use their abilities.
Meanwhile,
The Beast Tamers saw that the three Tier-8 Lifeline Beasts were fighting hard to contain the Tier-9 Earth Lizard. They were successfully able to distract the beast.
But it was not a permanent solution. The lifeline beasts could get tired. If they were tired, they would need other beasts to step in.
Apart from the Flame Lion and the Red-Brown Bear, there were no other strong Tier-8 beasts that could withstand the attacks of the Tier-9 Earth Lizard.

City A
The loud noise from the wilderness border was keeping the city awake. The locals were not getting any sleep at all.
Though the news had not leaked, people were familiar with the noise.
Either some higher-tier beast was roaming the wilderness or some Tier-8 beasts were walking by the border area.
Neither situation was good for them. It meant the city was surrounded by danger. Some locals turned on their big screens to watch the news.
But the news reporters were not talking about it. They were discussing something else. Even the City Guard Captain and the guards were worried.
They requested the city officials for a comment, but the city officials refused to say anything. In fact, they knew a Tier-9 beast was making the noise.
All the City Governors had left to deal with the problem. They had given instructions not to reveal the news to the public.
Swoosh!
Right then, a figure left the city office into the sky. The person was flying towards the wilderness border. This scene was seen by the officials, the City Guard Captain, and others.
They recognized the person. The person was one of the new governors.
Meanwhile,
Jeremy Night was watching the news channels as well. He had also gotten a call from his parents earlier. They were not asleep.
Knowing that, he made a decision. He stood up and turned off the screen. Next, he began to get ready.
20 minutes later,
He left the hotel building and hailed a cab. He went to the hospital to be with his parents.
On the other hand, Melinda and her friends were awake. The Beast Tamers were told to get back to the city because of the Tier-9 beast’s appearance at the border.
They could hear the noise from the border right now. But somehow the news channels were not reporting on this matter.
Melinda thought that it must be related to City Governor Martin and Head Harold. Head Harold had been away from the beginning.
He had to be dealing with the Tier-9 beast.
She and the other members were waiting for the Lords from the Human Alliance to come. They were Tier-9 Beast Tamers.
They could kill or drive away the beast with ease.

Wilderness
The new City Governor returned to the place. He looked towards Martin and other governor.
He said, "I called the Human Alliance. They said two elders from the council have already departed. Considering the time, they could be here at any moment."
His words were not loud, but they caught the attention of the other Beast Tamers.
Martin and the other governors sighed in relief.
Head Harold relaxed as well. The worrying factor had been the response of the Human Alliance. Now the two Tier-9 Beast Tamers were on their way here.
They could use their remaining strength to stall the beast further.
Elders John, Allen, and Smith were listening to the information as well.
"Even the elders from the council are going to come," John uttered in surprise.
He knew that usually, they sent others to help. They were the elders and seniors, among the most prominent in the Human Alliance right now.
And a Tier-9 Earth Lizard was not dangerous enough for a council member to intervene. Any ordinary Tier-9 Beast Tamer could drive away the Tier-9 Earth Lizard from here.
The three Elders from the special base looked at each other. They could tell that there was something more to it.
On the other hand, the Head of the Beast Taming Association, the Dean of Central University 5, and the other Family Heads were happy as well.
Boom!
Just then, a loud noise broke the moment of silence.
They thought it was coming from the Tier-9 Lizard, which was troubled by the three Tier-8 Lifeline beasts.
But that was not the case. The sound was coming from a different direction. Everyone stopped talking and looked towards the place.
City Governor Martin noticed that the sound was coming from the unknown land.
Head Harold’s expression turned solemn. He didn’t want another beast to appear.
The Elders from the special base were looking at the place as well.
"John, check with your Golden Eagle," Elder Allen said to him.
Hearing that, John nodded his head and asked his lifeline beast to check where the noise was coming from.
