The Tier-9 Black Dart Frog hopped from one place to another, slowly moving forward toward the border.

The scent of the improved beast powder was influencing the mind of the beast as well.

Each time the Giant Frog landed on the ground, it created a shock force that spread across the area.

The nearby green vegetation and trees were uprooted from the ground. The other Corrupted beasts roaming in the vicinity felt the shock force.

The beasts were all frightened and fled from the place.

Boom!

It didn’t take long for the Flame Lion and Red-Brown Bear to appear at the spot. Both beasts spotted the Giant Frog.

Compared to the Tier-9 Earth Lizard, the Black Dart Frog was more dangerous. The beast could use poison against the enemy.

They didn’t know whether a cure was available for the poison attack, because there was no cure for most Tier-9 Venom Beast attacks.

Because they were hard to spot, they rarely appeared in any beast attacks on the city, so the experts hadn’t had time to collect samples.

They were seeing this venom frog in the 5th Zone for the first time.

Swoosh!

City Governor Martin and Head Harold appeared in mid-air. They were standing above their lifeline beasts, looking toward the Giant Frog.

"Governor, what should we do?"

"Things are getting out of hand," Harold said.

"You heard right. The Elders are coming. They must have learned about the improved Beast Powder," Martin replied.

The other two Governors appeared next, followed by some family heads and close acquaintances of City Governor Martin.

"Alright, let’s stop the beast from this distance. There is no need to engage in close quarters. If the beast uses poisonous attacks, then don’t forget to call back your beasts," Martin ordered.

Hearing that, the others agreed.

Roar!

The Flame Lion released a loud roar. It then opened its mouth wide and began to charge an attack. A blazing red ball was manifesting in its mouth.

It was the same case with the Red-Brown Bear. It liked the new challenge and prepared to launch an attack, opening its mouth wide.

An orange flame ball began to form.

BWAAAAK!

The Black Dart Frog sensed a threat. It felt alarmed and let out a powerful, threatening call. The sound was so strange and powerful that the Beast Tamers felt their minds buzzing.

Quickly, the Beast Tamers regained control.

Boom!

A blazing red ball formed successfully. In the next instant, the Flame Lion shot out the attack.

The blazing red ball flew in a straight line at full speed. The scorching heat burned away everything along its path.

It left behind a trail of ashes and fiery sparks.

Boom!

Right then, the Red-Brown Bear released the orange flame ball. The powerful flame ball surged pulsating forward with extreme speed as well.

The flame ball left behind sunken, scorched land. If anyone touched the ground, they would be burned to death.

Two different types of flames went blazing forward.

Boom!

The Black Dart Frog saw the attacks coming toward it. At first, the beast didn’t show any reaction.

Then the beast opened its mouth wide, revealing a black tongue.

Right before the blazing red flame could reach the beast.

Boom!

The Black Dart Frog hopped all of a sudden. Its massive body jumped high into the sky.

The next second, the powerful attack missed it and flew past, destroying the land behind it.

Boom!

A deafening explosion occurred as the red ball crashed into the empty land. A deep crater formed, and the shock force rippled through the area.

The aftermath devastated the surroundings.

But it was not over. The orange flame ball reached the target just as the Black Dart Frog was about to land on the ground.

Everyone thought that the beast would be hit by the orange flame ball this time. But they were wrong.

Before the giant frog touched the ground, it unleashed its tongue attack.

Boom!

The long black tongue, covered in slimy mucus, tore through the air as it extended forward.

Boom!

In the blink of an eye, the black tongue came into contact with the orange flame ball. The orange flame ball exploded the next moment.

The shock force spread across the surroundings.

Yet nothing happened to the black tongue. The Giant Frog safely landed on the ground. It retracted the black tongue as if nothing had happened.

Seeing that, the expressions on everyone’s faces changed.

Martin and Head Harold looked at each other. This was way out of their league. Both the Flame Lion and Red-Brown Bear had at least put up a fight against the Tier-9 Earth Lizard.

But they were helpless against the Tier-9 Black Dart Frog.

"We can continue to release fast attacks. I don’t think the beast can evade all of them," Head Harold said to him.

Hearing that, Martin nodded his head. Then both of them communicated with their beasts.

Roar!

The Flame Lion released a roar. It began to charge the next attack, but this time the red flame was smaller in size and took less time to form.

Boom!

The Flame Lion shot out the attack before immediately charging up another one.

Roar!

Similarly, the Red-Brown Bear released the orange ball attack. Like the red flame ball earlier, the orange flame ball was smaller in size.

The two attacks flew faster toward the target. When they reached the target,

Boom!

Again, a long black tongue appeared in a flash before destroying the red flame ball. Then the frog retracted its tongue as if nothing had happened.

The Black Dart Frog easily destroyed the first one. Similarly, when the orange flame ball reached the frog...

Boom!

It was destroyed in a similar fashion within a few seconds.

Governor Martin and Head Harold still didn’t give up hope.

The other two Governors and the family heads behind them watched on. They didn’t know how the beast was able to destroy two flame attacks so effortlessly.

Even the Tier-9 Earth Lizard had struggled with the attacks earlier. They were waiting for the Elders from the Human Alliance to arrive in time.
