Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 1106: Demonstration

As Swamp Dragon saw Kyle, he knew that his role in the plan had ended. He had done his best to increase Kyle's power after his initial plan had failed. He had given him the Major Law of Death, and that's everything he could give him.

Yet, he also realized that his trust hadn't been misplaced. Kyle hadn't disappointed him. He had found a way to grow even stronger.

Swamp Dragon hadn't been sure if Kyle could manage to create a Perfected Imposing Law that involved a weapon. His assumption had been that he would switch to an Imposing Law that involved his body. In that case, Kyle would have been able to step out of the Gate of Death in his human body.

Despite all odds, Kyle had managed to perfect an Imposing Law involving a weapon, which had changed things considerably. Swamp Dragon had heard of this change when he had talked to Sebastian, and this change had given him even more ways to increase his power.

By giving him Fierce Breaker, Swamp Dragon could double Kyle's Energy and give him access to a second Perfected Imposing Law.

With just the Major Law of Death, Kyle's chances of victory would have been almost non-existent, but just as expected, he had found a way to grow even stronger.

When Swamp Dragon saw Kyle, he knew that he had made the right choice.

Of course, he also knew that Kyle would kill him when everything was over, but that was fine. The collective was more important than the individual. He knew that Kyle's impact on the Cosmos would be far greater than his. If he could give his life for Kyle, he would do so without hesitation.

'When you've killed the Overseer, my life will be in your hands,' Swamp Dragon thought. 'Telling you about my reasons might make you spare me, but I also know that you won't be happy. Your power is your adaptability and harmonized existence. The more internal conflicts you have, the worse it is for you.'

All of these thoughts shot through Swamp Dragon's mind in an instant. When he finally gave his answer to Kyle's last statement, barely any time had passed.

"It's good that you want to avoid unnecessary casualties, Fierce Breaker," Swamp Dragon spoke. "I must thank you on behalf of Budding Forest for your consideration. What brings you here? What do you need?"

The three Ascendants looked at their Ancestor in shock. While their Ancestor was very formal and friendly, he also never backed down from a challenge or a conflict. As the Ancestor of the most powerful Organization, he had to act appropriately. Avoiding a conflict would reduce the trust every member had in the Organization.

"I want access to the Immortal Elements," Kyle answered evenly. "I will not interfere with any people comprehending these Laws as long as they also do not interfere with my comprehension. I'm here to inform you that I will be staying in your Law Wells and that you should keep your people under control."

When the three Ascendants heard Kyle's arrogant words, they became enraged. They couldn't remember the last time anyone had spoken down to Budding Forest in this way!

"I can issue an order, but if you truly wish to remain undisturbed, you should show why leaving you in peace is the best decision everyone can make," Swamp Dragon answered.

Red snorted. "If it saves me future troubles, fine," he said before turning to one of the Ascendants. This was a Two-Infused Ascendant, and he was the strongest member of Budding Forest, excluding their Ancestor. "You may launch your strongest attack at me. I won't fight back."

The Ascendant in question, the Disciplinary Elder of Budding Forest, narrowed his eyes as his rage intensified. Even their Ancestor wouldn't easily dare to take his strongest attack directly.

The Disciplinary Elder glanced at Swamp Dragon to ask for permission.

"You may do as he says," Swamp Dragon answered. "As long as you only launch one attack, everything that happens will be on him."

The Disciplinary Elder's eyes narrowed as he performed a short and polite bow for Swamp Dragon. Finally, he turned to Kyle and slowly pulled out his spear.

"I'm accepting your offer," the Disciplinary Elder said. "Do not underestimate this strike of mine."

Kyle didn't answer.

The Disciplinary Elder's expression intensified, and he pulled his spear back. The illusory image of a second spear overlapped with his spear as a complex mix of Elemental Energies gathered around it.

The Disciplinary Elder had two Infused Level Six Laws and an External Level 6.5 Law. If he repurposed his External Law, he could even become a Three-Infused Ascendant. At the same time, his Imposing Law had already reached a quality of 63%.

The Disciplinary Elder shot forward. He gathered all the power of his Infused Laws and launched his Imposing Law with the help of his External Law.

Red didn't even move.

The spear struck the middle of Red's chest.

BOOOOOOM!

The Barrier Formation Arrays activated, keeping the destruction contained by burning through countless Energy Stones. If they hadn't done that, a huge chunk of Budding Forest's territory would have been annihilated.

When the destructive forces calmed down, everyone, aside from Swamp Dragon, looked at Red with terror and shock.

The most powerful strike of the Disciplinary Elder had only left a tiny white mark on Red's chest. This tiny white mark was just some of the spear's metal that had been rubbed off by the strike.

The onlookers couldn't even believe their own eyes.

How?!

Of course, if someone knew the true gap in power, such an outcome wouldn't be surprising. Kyle was literally six levels above the Disciplinary Elder. Even without an Infused Law, he wouldn't have been injured.

"Is that enough?" Kyle asked evenly.

The Ascendants didn't immediately answer since they were busy conversing with each other via voice transmissions.

This was impossible! It literally couldn't happen!

So, the most logical answer was that Kyle had used a trick. Maybe he had simply pushed his defense to the maximum?

Kyle could see the Energy fluctuations around the Ascendants, and he could see that they didn't believe him.

Red looked at the spear in his hands, and when the others saw that, they became shocked again.

When had the Disciplinary Elder's spear appeared in Red's hands?!

Red put the spear on the back of his fingers so that all of his fingers were below it, except for the middle finger. Then, Red just pulled his middle finger down.

CRK!

Under the shocked eyes of the onlookers, the spear broke into two pieces. Next, Red's hand wrapped around the two halves of the spear and squeezed it like a lemon.

A moment later, he just tapped it, and the spear was repaired in an instant.

Finally, he tossed the spear back to the Disciplinary Elder, whose brain had stopped working.

This was not a trick!

Red had shown his unrivaled defense, power, and speed.

"Am I under an illusion?" the Disciplinary Elder transmitted to Swamp Dragon.

"No, this is his power," Swamp Dragon answered. "Your power and my power are equal to the power of a Mortal in front of him."

"Do not anger him. Act like he doesn't exist. As long as everyone follows these rules, nothing will happen."

The Ascendants took deep breaths.

"Understood," they answered.
