The Overseer just looked at Kyle with an intense expression. All of her doubts had vanished as clarity took hold.
This was not Fierce Breaker.
This was that one Seeker who had entered the Gate of Death, Kyle.
She still remembered the time she had seen Kyle for the first time. Back then, his aura had already been intense. Even though it hadn't had the power of her most powerful Demon Leaders, its sheer intensity had been unparalleled.
Comparing the auras of her Demon Leaders to Kyle's aura when he had been a Spirit Lord was like comparing two raging, red bonfires to a small, blue fire. The bonfires were bigger and more powerful, but that blue flame still seemed threatening. The iron door would be able to withstand the red flames without issues, but if that blue flame grew bigger...
And now, that blue flame had grown to such a size that the two bonfires looked like the flames of a candle. The door was melting. The room was sizzling and crackling. The fire had to be stopped, or everything would be destroyed!
The Overseer couldn't find any fitting reference points for Kyle's current aura. Fierce Breaker was her best comparison, but using him as a reference wouldn't even work. It was like shoving someone to demonstrate how it felt to get hit by a speeding car. It just wouldn't get the message across.
The most talented Seekers in Ayuvar were close to fulfilling the requirements for their Fusions. The auras of these true geniuses made the other Ascendants look like old and dim bulbs. Yet, even these Ascendants were already geniuses. After all, they had managed to become Ascendants.
If the difference in intensity between these two parties were added to the auras of these geniuses, there wouldn't be a single person in Ayuvar who had a similarly intense aura. In the Supreme World, the geniuses of the different Higher Supreme Organizations could most likely rival that intensity.
If the intensity were added one additional time, there would truly be no one.
And if it were added one last time...
There would be Kyle.
The small flame in front of the Overseer wasn't big, but it burned with the temperature of the sun. A single speck with impossibly high temperatures.
The Overseer didn't question who this person was. Instead, she asked what this thing was.
Ascendants felt nothing like this. Not even Immortals felt like this. Maybe Lords felt like this.
But this was just an Ascendant...
As the Overseer truly felt Kyle's absurd Battle-Strength, she realized that his earlier words hadn't been exaggerated in the slightest. If he had attacked without warning, she might not have been able to react in time, and even if she did, she would start the oncoming battle with a severe disadvantage.
Even without a disadvantage, this already counted as an actual True Battle.
'But how?!' the Overseer thought as her mind went wild. 'How?! I know all of the Laws! I'm an Immortal! When I became an Immortal, my Energy increased by a factor of almost 100! My Battle-Strength has been perfected!'
'Are you telling me that his Battle-Strength outclasses mine by a factor of over ten?!'
She almost couldn't make sense of the emotions of Kyle's existence. Reality seemingly screamed with exhilaration and happiness as it lovingly supported Kyle's existence. The passive and proud Energy seemed to kneel in front of him, begging him to please make use of it.
The Overseer quickly made a decision on how to proceed.
"I must apologize," the Overseer said slowly. Despite speaking deferent words, her stance remained guarded and prepared. "I have not noticed your considerable power."
"Cool," Red answered, "So?"
The Overseer remained careful. "I understand there are some enmities between us, but things don't have to stay this way. There are no eternal enemies, only eternal benefits."
Kyle felt like he had heard that sentence before. "You want to negotiate?" Black asked.
"That is my intention, yes," the Overseer answered. "We both want the same thing. We both want to get out of this world."
Kyle remained silent and let the Overseer keep talking.
"Neither of us can come to a clear conclusion as to what would happen if we were to enter battle. Your Battle-Strength is unrivaled, but that does not mean that I am weak. I still hold a large advantage in total Energy. While I do not want to fight you, I will also not back down. Entering battle represents a risk for both of us."
"Is this not why you have demonstrated your power just now? You knew that you had to convince me of your power before you could talk with me on equal terms."
"Cool," Red answered. "So?"
The Overseer suppressed her frustration and rage, but her brows still furrowed a bit. "You've just created a hole in the World Wall. If you create another one, I can leave. I will leave without a fuss, and the position of Overseer will go to someone else. I will be gone, and the world will be yours."
"Cool," Black answered. "So?"
The Overseer narrowed her eyes. "You don't even have to swear an oath," she said with a cold voice. "Just make a hole, and I will go. If you so desperately want to kill me, you can still chase after me later. As soon as you're a true Immortal, I won't be able to fight you anyway. I will be the one running for my life, not you."
"Cool-"
"So, so what?!" the Overseer interrupted. "I'm trying to solve this problem, but you just keep refusing to cooperate."
"Ah," Red uttered with a grin, "and how many people have said that to you? How many people have tried to find a solution to this problem? How much have you cooperated?"
"Well, since you're still here, I can take a good guess."
The Overseer gritted her teeth in rage. "You have no idea what-"
"Shut the fuck up!" Red and Black shouted, reality around them straining under their combined power. "You fucking tortured Ayuvar for hundreds of millions of years! You destroyed Humanity! You destroyed my fucking home! You killed Manny! You fucking killed Lara! Hell, you even killed me!"
"I finally had friends! I finally had love! I finally had a home!"
"And you fucking took it from me!"
The Overseer could see the Energies around Kyle's Avatars intensifying, a clear sign of someone who was about to attack.
"Now, you want to talk?!"
"Now, you want to negotiate?!"
"Now, you apologize?!"
Red and Black gritted their teeth as Kyle allowed all of his suppressed rage and hatred to burst forth.
He had waited for long enough!
He no longer needed to suppress himself!
"I don't care about what you want," Red spoke with a dark voice. "I care about what I want."
"And I want you dead!"
BANG!
Red and Black shot in different directions before charging towards the Overseer.
