Strongest Necromancer System

"You need not call upon me so rudely, Theosis. I am always here."

The figure that emerged had a strange appearance. It was an elf-like creature with pointy ears, a bald head, and a beautiful androgynous face that could’ve easily passed as either male or female! The elf had runic tattoos covering the top of their bald head and going down the side of their face and neck before vanishing into their gown. They were sitting on a magic-powered mechanical chair that floated in the air, and they slowly guided the seat towards the ground to meet with the Mind Apostle.

This was Bathseda, a mountain-valley elf banished from a distant world in the Fourth Domain for kidnapping other elves to perform biological experiments on them, and they were the Apostle wielding the Arcane Art of Space! Unlike the other Apostles who had joined the Court of Apostles for their own selfish reasons or personal gain, Bathseda didn’t have any significant life goals that they wanted to achieve. Bathseda was someone who simply enjoyed observing other creatures and understanding them, and when Sicario promised Bathseda that he would provide all the resources for them to perform whatever experiment they wanted without any restrictions, Bathseda agreed to join the Court of Apostles!

Well, it also helped that Sicario was someone that Bathseda could not even imagine defeating! Sicario was so much stronger than Bathseda that Bathseda didn’t really have much of a choice!

"How did your mission go, Theosis? Did you meet the great Overlord Jason Marc? I hope you haven’t forgotten what Sicario said about messing with him."

Theosis waved Bathseda away in annoyance.

"Why would I wish to meet with that pathetic creature? I have no interest in him whatsoever. He could drop dead at this instant, and I would not care. In fact, I am insulted that you would expect someone of my standing to even interact with someone of such lowly heritage!"

Bathseda hummed in curiosity when they heard this. If you asked Bathseda, Theosis was obviously wrong about Jason Marc. The Marc heritage was far grander than most other lineages out there! And up until a few months ago, Theosis had been absolutely obsessed with Jason Marc for some reason! It seemed like Theosis wanted to kill Jason Marc no matter what, and the only reason why Theosis stopped his plans was because Sicario had warned them against touching Jason Marc!

But Bathseda knew that it would be foolish to bring up something like that with the egotistical Theosis! Instead, Bathseda changed the topic!

"So, for what reason did you go to Jadar then? That is the homeworld of the Church of Providence, is it not? Perhaps you found a woman you wish to tame on that world? Are you about to gain another slave to add to your harem?"

Theosis frowned when Bathseda called his women a harem! The women might be his slaves, but Theosis did not see them as something as grand as a harem! The women in a harem were allowed to have opinions of their own, but these women were Theosis’ property, and they were not allowed to do anything other than what he told them to do! They were his slaves.

But Theosis knew that Bathseda was not far off from the truth, so he just waved Bathseda’s curiosity away!

"Do not concern yourself with my affairs, Bathseda. What I do in my free time is none of your business! Instead, I find myself wondering what the other members of the Court have been doing. I hear rumors that a disaster travels across the Ninth Domain. Is this true? Have they finally unleashed the Celestial of Death?"

Bathseda smiled excitedly!

"Of course that is true, Theosis! Did you even have any doubt in our great leader!? I aided him in reaching the distant world where Death was held captive, and while there, he broke the seal holding it back and unleashed it upon the world! Oh, I can already imagine the death and destruction taking place out there! There will be so many corpses left behind on so many worlds! So many test subjects fresh for the taking! My research will improve by leaps and bounds after the disaster passes!"

Bathseda exclaimed in excitement as they spun their floating chair around happily! There was a childlike, maniacal aura around Bathseda at that moment that showed how little they cared for the lives of others! So long as they could get their test subjects, Bathseda didn’t mind helping the Court to perform any form of twisted genocide!

Theosis only scoffed at the pitiful, childish display from Bathseda and Theosis wondered what Sicario would do if Sicario found out that Theosis had not killed Agiel like he was asked to! But Theosis decided that it didn’t matter! Sicario had given Theosis direct orders to make sure Agiel did not form a bond with Jason, and once she marries the King, that Soul Bond would automatically come to Theosis, so there was no problem!

But all of a sudden, Bathseda perked up curiously as they felt a message reaching them, and Bathseda spoke up:

"Oh, that doesn’t sound good. Are you sure you want to do this now?"

Theosis turned to Bathseda when Bathseda spoke up, and Theosis realised that Bathseda was speaking to someone through a telepathic link! Bathseda looked over at Theosis with an apologetic look before Bathseda raised their hand and activated their Arcane Art! Theosis immediately spoke:

"What do you think you are doing, Bathseda? Who are you attempting to bring into my domain?"

Theosis knew that this entire castle had been covered in a defensive rune that prevents any sort of interdimensional travel in or out of it, but Bathseda’s power was an Arcane Art, so it did not use magic at all, and that allowed it to completely bypass all of the magical protections around this castle! Other than Theosis himself, Bathseda was literally the only person capable of bringing people in here!

But Bathseda didn’t need to respond at all as a Dimensional Tear opened right in the middle of the hall, and Enkidu began to float out from the other side! Enkidu’s long rainbow colored hair flowed behind her like a cape, and even though her eyes were closed, it was easy to see the sheer anger present on her face at that moment! Enkidu was pissed!

"Sorry, Theosis. She threatened to take away my research subjects if I didn’t listen to her!"

Bathseda rubbed the back of their head with a nervous chuckle as Enkidu finally appeared, and Theosis gave Bathseda a heavy glare for a moment before he finally turned back to glance at Enkidu with a condescending look!

"What business does someone of your standing have in this place? This is my sanctuary! My domain! You have not been welcomed here; therefore, you do not deserve to set foot within it. Begone, woman!"

Enkidu’s frown only deepened as she saw the condescending look on Theosis’ face! Every word Theosis spoke at that moment was meant to stab and kill like a spear, and Theosis’ natural disregard for all women only added to the sheer venom in his words! Enkidu wanted to kill Theosis at that moment for daring to speak to her in such a way, but Enkidu knew that it was impossible to do something like that now. Not only did they still need Theosis for their grand plans, but Enkidu was inside Theosis’ domain, so it was obvious that Theosis had set up many magical defences to prevent any harm from reaching him!
