Chapter 1231: Chapter 1230: Cosmic Garbage!

The boss finished speaking and left.

"Hey, dad! Zhao Shuai hurriedly called out to the boss, "You take care of yourself too. Yes, I know." The boss looked at his son with a solemn expression, feeling a bit moved. Unknowingly, his son had grown up and even cared about him now. He took another glance at Zhao Shuai and left.

Jiang, after seeing my dad, I suddenly felt reluctant to leave." Zhao Shuai gave a bitter smile and said to Jiang Cheng.

The next morning, Jiang Cheng and Zhao Shuai arrived at the Qi Family as planned. When Jiang Cheng arrived, he saw Cloud and Qi Rongfeng waiting in the courtyard early on. "Cloud, your parents agreed, right? You should have told the truth." Jiang Cheng asked.

"Yes, I did," Cloud said, her eyes somewhat evasive, "Of course, my parents agreed."

Jiang Cheng noticed Cloud’s concealment but didn’t say anything. Once Cloud was determined to go, all he could do was protect her well.

"Rongfeng, has Zhang Tian come?" Zhao Shuai didn’t see Zhang Tian’s shadow and asked.

"He hasn’t come. I haven’t seen him," Qi Rongfeng said, "Jiang, he wouldn’t ditch us, would he?" Zhao Shuai had always been prejudiced against Zhang Tian, and until now thought he’d be a liability. "I’m here, no need to worry." Zhang Tian’s lazy voice came from behind.

Jiang Cheng saw Zhang Tian dressed casually today, looking as if he had just woken up, relaxed and lazy, yet he seemed less annoying than on previous occasions.

"Humph, as long as you’re here, let’s go." Zhao Shuai glanced at Zhang Tian and said. "Are all of you ready?" Zhang Tian asked Jiang Cheng and others, "You’re all going?"

"Yes, let’s go," Jiang Cheng said.

Zhang Tian shrugged and didn’t say anything. He took out the Four-dimensional Mirror from the bag he was carrying. "The Four-dimensional Mirror?" Zhao Shuai saw the mirror and said, "You recognize it?" Zhang Tian asked. Jiang Cheng recalled a previous dark cosmos auction where a Four-dimensional Mirror was auctioned off, and Wu Shan bought it. "Who doesn’t recognize it?" Zhao Shuai said, pouting.

"Wait a moment, I’ll go in first, and you just follow me," Zhang Tian said, putting the Four-dimensional Mirror on the ground. Then he took out a small flashlight and shone it on the center of the mirror. After a while, Jiang Cheng saw the Four-dimensional Mirror emit a dazzling white light, then seemed to form a hole. Zhang Tian winked at Jiang Cheng and the others behind him and entered. Jiang Cheng said, "You all go in first, I’ll go in last."

Then Zhao Shuai, Qi Rongfeng, and Cloud went in one after another, and Jiang Cheng followed suit. Once inside, Jiang Cheng felt as if he was in a transparent world. He had entered a four-dimensional space before, but this one was clearly more three-dimensional. The surroundings were pitch black, and walking felt a bit dizzy. Jiang Cheng took out a flashlight to illuminate the road ahead.

"Hey, Zhang Tian, what kind of path is this? Can we walk here?" Zhao Shuai’s voice came from ahead.

"Just follow me; it’s pointless to regret now," Zhang Tian said. "Hey, you...," Zhao Shuai was upset and wanted to say more.

"Alright, Shuai, let’s go," Jiang Cheng said, stopping Zhao Shuai from saying anything further.

After walking for about fifteen minutes, Jiang Cheng felt he was constantly moving forward, with the surroundings still pitch black. "Zhang Tian, how much longer do we need to walk?" Jiang Cheng asked.

"Soon, it’ll be bright ahead, but we need to stay in this four-dimensional space for a long time," Zhang Tian said.

Jiang Cheng thought about how, for so many years, with Kai Ao Country’s technological level, they couldn’t possibly be unaware of another country’s existence. The reason the Li Country was known to so few was because it couldn’t be detected in the cosmos; the only way was to enter the Four-dimensional Mirror, like stepping into another world.

Jiang Cheng continued walking and noticed a bright light ahead. He thought the darkness might end soon.

When he reached the bright area, Jiang Cheng saw everything ahead was like daylight. He glanced around at Zhou Country; this four-dimensional space really felt like being inside the Four-dimensional Mirror, surrounded by mirrors forming arcs, reflecting his image. It seemed rather unnerving.

"Hey," Cloud seemed to trip over something in the front and fell backward. Jiang Cheng immediately supported Cloud.

Cloud found she hadn’t fallen to the ground as expected and breathed a sigh of relief. "Thanks, brother Jiang."

Jiang Cheng looked at the smooth floor and didn’t know what Cloud had stumbled over.

"You all need to be careful here; it’s very slippery, and falling feels like hitting a rock. It hurts," Zhang Tian said.

"Ouch!" As soon as Zhang Tian finished speaking, Jiang Cheng saw Zhao Shuai fall in front. Zhao Shuai quickly got up, discovering his elbow was scraped badly from the fall. Jiang Cheng saw Zhao Shuai’s elbow was bruised and blue. "Wow, what kind of place is this? Why does it hurt so much?" Zhao Shuai said, looking at his arm.

"Although we came through the Four-dimensional Mirror, this isn’t a mirror surface but rock, just smooth-surfaced rock," Zhang Tian said.

"Why don’t we rest up front for a while," Jiang Cheng saw Cloud panting in front, looking tired. "Alright," Zhang Tian said.

After walking a bit further, Zhang Tian stopped, "Let’s rest here for a while." With that, he sat on the ground. Jiang Cheng and the others also sat down.

"Is it always like this here?" Jiang Cheng asked.

"No, after walking a while further, there will be something like a wormhole. You need to be careful not to be sucked in, and then we’ll reach Li Country," Zhang Tian said.

"Wormhole?" Wow, this place is quite thrilling, Jiang Cheng thought. Jiang Cheng took out an item resembling a large pin from the Jiezhi Bracelet and handed it to Cloud, "Cloud, take this, and you won’t be afraid later when there’s a wormhole."

"What is this? Can it increase gravity?" Cloud asked. "Well, similar principle, I only have one, so you take it," Jiang Cheng said.

"Jiang, I’m also afraid I’ll be sucked away later, what should I do?" Zhao Shuai asked worriedly, looking at Jiang Cheng. "You and Rongfeng hold my hand later, and you won’t have any problems passing through the wormhole," Jiang Cheng remembered that due to system reasons, his own gravity was greater than usual, and he wouldn’t easily be affected by the environment.

After speaking, Jiang Cheng realized he seemed to have forgotten Zhang Tian, so he looked at him and saw Zhang Tian looking indifferent. "Well, Zhang Tian has been here before; he probably knows how to handle wormholes," Jiang Cheng thought.

"Let’s go, it’s time to leave," Zhang Tian said, standing up.

Jiang Cheng and the others continued following Zhang Tian. "But, what happens if we get sucked into the wormhole?" Zhao Shuai asked.

"Not much, anyway, if you get sucked in, you’ll probably end up in space and get submerged by space debris," Zhang Tian turned around and joked. Zhao Shuai looked at Zhang Tian’s mocking gaze and felt angry. "Hey, can’t you wish me well for once?"

Without further words, Zhang Tian kept walking. Actually, Jiang Cheng felt this path was treacherous; his intuition suggested it was dangerous, his heart in disquietude. Logically speaking, this shouldn’t be the only path leading to Li Country.
