In that moment, Draculus forgot everything Rommel had to face.
For him, magic was his life, and alchemy was his way of living.
Everything else could be temporarily forgotten.
Just like back in Teraxil, even though he knew many secrets, he would not choose to fight desperately for his own world.
His final line as a human of Teraxil was being able to accompany his world to the very last step.
Draculus didn’t care what people said about him being too indifferent; he always acted according to his own heart.
Just like now, Glaysia and Asmodeus were already out of his scope of thought... Of course, this was because after discovering Hill and learning that the Lord of Dawn was about to arrive, he confirmed that his home planet would not suffer from those conspiracies anymore.
Draculus might not actively seek out those who tried to harm his homeland, but he wouldn’t overlook the traces right before him.
That probably was the biggest difference between him and Hill.
Just like the fact that neither he nor Hill needed communication to understand, their arrival in this world was partly by chance and partly by inevitable necessity.
Yet the sight before him, in this moment, made his ever-tense spirit instantly forget everything, falling into the pursuit of alchemy.
He understood very well that the method he was using now was the most foolish and time-consuming.
But Draculus willingly did it... the chance to witness a new school of alchemy made the time and energy seem insignificant.
After repeatedly examining the metal painting several times, he finally discovered a trace.
Indeed, the diamonds on Silvermoon had no special effect, but among them, there was a diamond with a slight difference from the others.
After noticing this small difference, he followed this style and quickly found two more gemstones with similar traces... one diamond located in the center of a small river, and one located at the position of the stars, a pale purple gemstone.
Draculus steadied himself and simultaneously pressed down on the three stones.
However, nothing happened.
He furrowed his brow, then gently removed the gloves he had always worn, delicately stirring a bit of his own mana, pressing simultaneously once again.
Then, he was surprised to find that the originally clear and transparent river water instantly turned a dark green!
Draculus paused for a moment before concluding that the metal thread woven into the river water contained Dolinkin... which, after precise polishing, would turn milky white, but under certain specific wavelengths of light, would turn dark green and was called Ice Iron.
Draculus tilted his head in confusion... He could understand the inclusion of Carlokin, but Dolinkin?
Truth be told, it was his first time knowing that Dolinkin spun into threads could resemble natural, crystal-clear river water.
It was a kind of faint, transparent pale white.
While Dolinkin turning into nearly black, dark green did not surprise him... what surprised him was that just by pressing three gemstones, Hill could turn the faint glow caused by Carlokin in the painting into another type of radiance.
Directly transforming the river into another appearance.
Rommel understood it was Hill hinting that the Envoy of the Styx had also appeared.
Yet he was still greatly amazed by Hill’s alchemy skills... Even if Hill created some divine artifacts, Draculus wouldn’t be this surprised.
As the second heir acknowledged by the Clan Leader of Earth Bear who had entered the Divine Kingdom of Goddess of the Earth, Hill’s strength needed no questioning.
Draculus knew he certainly didn’t understand some of the implicit facts among deities... Teraxil’s deities were actually quite united.
Even the most annoying God of Nobility wouldn’t easily divulge their internal matters to outsiders... even if he continued offending other deities.
Yet under the mediation of the God of Justice, the God of Nobility paid a certain price to escape from the crazy vengeance of the Goddess of the Sea.
Of course, Draculus didn’t know whether the everlasting reputation damage suffered by the God of Nobility counted as retribution.
After all, for him, although reputation was important, it wasn’t as important as his life.
But, whether that God of Nobility and Monarchy who couldn’t tolerate people speaking ill of him could withstand this, Draculus was unclear.
In any case, when he left Teraxil, that God hadn’t shown himself publicly yet.
The Noble Church was managed by the Goddess of Love.
Yet Draculus could see from the strong reactions of these deities Hill’s position as the Little Bear.
Therefore, in his heart, Hill was no longer considered based on human measures.
And what could a mighty magician with divine power achieve by creating divine artifact-level strange objects anyway?
They could turn even their drinking cups into divine artifacts.
Thus, what surprised Draculus was Hill’s choice to use meticulous and intricate alchemical techniques such as now.
When he clearly could rely on powerful strength to make strong divine artifacts.
Draculus felt his perception of Hill seemed to indeed have biases.
He was indeed a part of Earth Bear but also the descendant of Fran, the true alchemist master.
Hill wasn’t someone who played with alchemy merely due to lineage and heritage.
Back then, those Earth System and Nature System strange objects made by Hill... were probably only what he was willing to expose to outsiders.
Indeed, Hill didn’t just like acting according to lineage.
Draculus gently sighed.
He actually knew he was somewhat stubborn in his actions... Fran occasionally scolding him for being obstinate wasn’t without reason.
But such was his principle of doing things, and it was difficult to change.
Though such an approach caused him to miss some opportunities and chances, it allowed him to survive smoothly to this day.
Draculus wasn’t afraid of danger, but he absolutely refused to accept unknown dangers.
Clenching his fist, Draculus bent over the table continuing to study the metal painting.
Hill couldn’t have sent him such a precious painting just for that one message... that beehive indeed had some value, but half the materials in this painting equaled all of that.
After exploring carefully once again, Draculus surprisingly discovered that this time, a metal thread seemed slightly loose in the green mountains that formed the background.
He pondered for a few seconds, then bowed his head to find the head and tail of this metal thread... Hill’s weaving was extremely complicated, and the paths were very special, seemingly with thousands of woven knots on each thread.
Moreover, there were connected traces within them, making it incredibly hard to find a specific thread’s head and tail trace.
Draculus took a long time before finally grasping a clue.
This thread’s head was hidden beneath a seemingly falling star, and its tail cleverly concealed under the river water, beneath a diamond.
Even a master alchemist like Draculus found it difficult to find this... Now, for someone else, especially Glaysia, who could mess up the simplest alchemy potion, was absolutely incapable of finding any trace.
He could completely hang this painting in the living room for all to see.
After all, the painting was truly beautiful.
The creator of this painting was truly a bear.
Draculus always considered himself quite good-tempered, but at this moment, he almost didn’t want to pull the metal thread tightly.
If the result of pulling it was another masterpiece from Hill, or simply telling him nothing important... he felt he might want to flay bear skin.
However, Draculus was aware that this bear now, not to mention its skin, even a single bear hair was beyond his ability to move, let alone touch.
What could he do?
He could only pray to the heavens, hoping this bear was just a little bear, rather than a bear that defied the heavens.
Taking a deep breath, Draculus resolutely pulled the metal thread tightly.
The light of the bright moon on the metal painting suddenly intensified.
Draculus’s gaze shifted over, and he quickly noticed the difference in the bright moon.
Within the diamonds tightly restrained by Carlokin threads, two noticeably protruded their heads.
Draculus directly reached out to press them... when pressed together, nothing happened, they couldn’t be pressed down.
He pinched his fingers and gently turned one of them.
An image suddenly appeared on the bright moon.
Draculus glanced at it, quickly realizing it was the scene of Delphus’s group being attacked.
He sighed... it seemed Hill was still just a good bear.
Then he quietly sat there watching the recording, not wanting to move at all.
