Swordsmanship Coach: Kill with One Slash
Chapter 149 - 123: What Can You Do to Me?Chapter 149: Chapter 123: What Can You Do to Me?
"To avenge Number Three and Number Four, of course."
As he spoke, a dark glint flashed in his eyes. He wasn’t the type to care about camaraderie. He just wanted to complete the mission by himself.
If he could finish this task alone, he might just win Vice Bishop Jie’s favor and earn his freedom ahead of schedule. For people like them, such a temptation was impossible to resist.
The others exchanged glances.
They all knew what Number One was planning.
But he wasn’t the only one tempted. Everyone here felt their hearts stir.
Even Number Two, who had been closest to Su Xing and knew best what kind of monster he was, couldn’t help but entertain the thought.
’If...’
’If I completed this mission alone, earned Vice Bishop Jie’s approval, and won my freedom...’
’What a wonderful thing that would be.’
However, they were all aware of Su Xing’s power. Who could be sure he was truly under control? And even if he was, how long could Number Two’s ability restrain him?
Aside from Number One,
no one dared to stick their neck out.
Number One glanced back at his colleagues, who wanted to advance but didn’t dare. A playful smile touched his lips as he said,
"And that’s why I’m Number One."
When he finished speaking, the others still didn’t move. He chuckled and strode into the dust cloud, ready to enjoy the spoils of his victory.
CRACK—
A crisp sound echoed from within the dust.
It was followed by Number One’s agonized scream and his body being sliced in two. His upper torso flew out of the smoke and landed beside Number Two.
White spots filled Number One’s vision. His eyes were wide with terror as he slowly lifted his head to look at Number Two, whispering weakly,
"Sorry... I... was greedy... See you in Hell."
With those last words,
Number One’s head lolled to the side, and he died.
Although Number One’s words could have been taken as sarcasm, Number Two knew he wasn’t being sarcastic at all. He genuinely believed it wouldn’t be long before all six of them met again in Hell.
"Number Five, Number Six."
"We... have to risk it all! If we kill Su Xing, we can all survive!"
"Move!"
Number Two roared.
Green light shot from her eyes once more, heading straight for Su Xing.
If it hit,
taking down Su Xing would be no problem at all!
But how could Su Xing fall for the same trick twice?!
[Medusa’s Eye]
Making eye contact with her would turn the target to stone.
It sounded powerful, but as long as you avoided looking into her eyes, it was useless.
Su Xing simply closed his eyes.
Just as he expected, the stiffening sensation didn’t appear!
Seeing the move had failed, Number Five and Number Six didn’t hesitate, flanking Su Xing from both sides.
Su Xing had lost his vision.
This was their chance!
Number Five held a Silver Saber in her right hand. The blade was long and straight, glinting with a cold light that seemed to warp the very air it passed through.
As for Number Six, he wielded a long spear. His muscles bulged, veins popping all over his body as he swung the spear, creating a series of sonic booms!
Faced with the pincer attack from two Peak Tier Four Martial Artists, Su Xing made no other move. He simply tossed his Black Sword lightly into the air, then threw it with all his might!
BOOM!!!
The Black Sword shot forward. Countless shockwaves erupted instantly, and the entire underground tunnel began to tremble violently as if in an earthquake. The collapsing and coalescing waves of energy formed visible ripples that swept outward.
The two attackers closing in couldn’t even withstand a single clash. They were instantly blasted away, smashing against the nearby walls and spitting up blood.
In the wake of that one sword strike,
huge sections of the tunnel ahead crumbled. The fractured ground broke into chunks of stone that were swept into the air by the ripples, turning into a massive, subterranean storm!
The heavily injured Number Five and Number Six had no time to react. They were immediately swallowed by the hurricane, savaged for a moment, and then slammed against a wall.
Then,
the Black Sword shot forth,
and in an instant, it pierced through both of their overlapping bodies!
