Chapter 170: Chapter 132: It Descends (3)

BOOM!!!

"It worked!"

’Does that mean I don’t even need to shatter the sword?’

The two collided violently before separating. Su Xing was blasted back several dozen steps, a sickly flush creeping onto his face.

The other man violently spat out a mouthful of blood and was sent flying backward like a cannonball, smashing hard into a large pile of rubble. The pile immediately collapsed, sending clouds of dust and smoke billowing into the air.

"This..."

"Is it over?"

Lu Anning watched this scene, stunned, her lips slightly parted. Just a moment ago, she had thought Coach Su might not be able to win. She never expected the battle to be over in the blink of an eye.

She wanted to run out of the building to check on the injured Coach Su, but she had barely taken a few steps before Su Yu grabbed her right hand. A low, somber voice followed:

"Don’t go out. It’s not over."

"Huh?"

...

Su Xing’s pupils constricted. He stared fixedly at the man.

"Damn it... An ant should just wait obediently for death. Why must you struggle so desperately?"

The man’s voice was hoarse and strange. He lay sprawled atop the rubble, a gaping hole in his chest. His heart had been completely obliterated, reduced to chunks of mangled flesh splattered across his torso. There was absolutely no way he could have survived.

But his voice didn’t stop. Instead, it grew even more sinister and hoarse:

"Lord... You’ve finally come."

Suddenly, his voice paused, as if he had become a completely different person.

"Heh heh, it’s been a long... a very long time since I’ve returned to the mortal world."

As he spoke, the purple phantom behind him cascaded like a waterfall. A thick torrent of violet shadow poured into his chest, stuffing his entire body full. In that moment, the man’s appearance changed drastically.

In an instant, his jet-black hair turned a solid violet, spilling over his shoulders like a woman’s. He slowly climbed to his feet and opened his eyes. His once-dark pupils were now purple, and within them swirled a faint pattern resembling an array—a sight that was both profoundly mystical and unsettlingly bizarre.

Those eyes gazed indifferently at Su Xing. After a long moment, he spoke, his voice faint.

"You killed him?"

The original man had possessed the purple shadow and was slightly more powerful than Su Xing. But he never imagined that a single moment of carelessness would allow Su Xing to pierce his heart, killing him instantly.

However, this also allowed the purple phantom to enter his body, resurrecting him for a short time.

"Not talking?"

"Fine. I’ve gone to all the trouble of waking up, so I suppose I can play with a little thing like you."

As his words faded, he lowered his eyelids. He flicked a finger. A sharp CRACK echoed as an unimaginable power ripped through the air. The ground collapsed, and from within the roiling dust, a torrent of purple energy tore free, surging toward Su Xing.

BOOM!!!

Amidst the massive explosion, he didn’t even spare Su Xing a glance. He turned away and said faintly:

"Sigh. He ought to be dead now, I suppose?"

"What a pity. This body is far too weak. It can’t handle my Spiritual Power at all."

"Hm? Whose body is this? Why isn’t it that fellow Xie?"

"You think you’re some kind of god?! You’re the one who’s going to die!!!!"

BANG!

Amidst the enraged roar, a crisp shattering sound suddenly rang out!

Su Xing’s sword slash blew apart the purple energy. A violent shockwave erupted, instantly turning everything nearby to dust. A scorching red light radiated from his body as he raised the Black Sword high, facing the man in the distance. A roar echoed in his mind:

Sparrow Sword, Shatter!!!
