System Distributing Villain: Guide to Conquering Heroines' Hearts!
Chapter 101 | My Current Favourite’What are they even talking about?’ Dante was a bit speechless. As he listened to their reasoning though, it actually made some sense. ’I guess I can’t blame them.’
’Why is he taking so long? Should I just pull my foot away?’ Emma was getting more flustered by the second as the crowd’s whispers grew louder.
She knew it wasn’t a proposal. But the panic was creeping in anyway. She was the one who called him a coward for not confessing at the start of the gala, and now she was realizing she wasn’t fully ready for it either.
Over the past few days, she had seen sides of him she never knew existed. The Dante from three weeks ago was barely recognizable in the man kneeling in front of her right now.
That natural confidence he carried, those massage skills that made her moan, and now dancing like he had been doing it his whole life.
He felt like a completely different person.
Every change was something she had spent years wishing for and that was exactly what made her uneasy.
So she had talked to Natasha about it. Natasha told her there was nothing wrong with him. She had the same doubts before and personally confirmed it herself.
If it was anyone else telling her this, she would still be uneasy. But it was Natasha. Her master had more than enough ways to confirm something like that.
With that, she put her doubts to rest.
Dante had no idea what she was thinking. He had a teasing look in his eyes as he took his sweet time on purpose.
It was only when Emma tried to pull her foot back that he grabbed it, slid the heel into place, and tightened the strap with his fingers. He gave it a light tap to make sure it was secure before looking up at her.
"All done." He stood up, dusted off his knee, and stretched his back like nothing happened.
"You sure took your time down there." Emma smiled through her teeth and pinched his waist hard. "Here is your reward."
The crowd stared at the two of them in disbelief.
"Wait... that’s IT?"
"He was fixing her HEELS?!"
"These two came to a business gala just to flirt in front of us? Is that what’s happening right now?"
"First the feeding, then the auction, then the dance, and now THIS? Get a room already!"
"Honestly though? Kneeling down to fix her heel without being asked is better than most proposals I’ve seen."
"My husband got down on one knee once. It was because he tripped on the stairs."
"If my man doesn’t do this for me at the next gala, I’m filing for divorce."
As Emma and Dante returned to the table, Aria looked at them with a knowing smile. "You definitely did that on purpose, didn’t you?"
"Of course not." Emma waved her hand with a slight blush.
"Sure..." Aria’s eyes curved with amusement. She couldn’t believe this was the same woman who used to blush every time she brought up Dante’s name or anything related to couples.
Soon, the gala came to an end. Emma told Sasha to handle the rest of the matters related to the Grand Zenith Tower and make sure the seller of the metallic ball was properly compensated.
The car was quiet on the way home.
Emma was leaning against the window, watching the city lights blur past. Her reflection in the glass was smiling and she didn’t bother hiding it.

Back at the mansion, Natasha was sitting on the couch with her phone in her hand. The screen showed photos that one of her people had sent from the gala. She didn’t ask for them but they came anyway.
The first was from the red carpet. Emma and Dante walking arm in arm, Emma in her ice-blue gown and Dante in a black suit right beside her. They looked like a couple straight out of a magazine.
She swiped to the next one. The two of them on the dance floor with his hand on her waist and her hand on the back of his neck. Their faces were so close the camera couldn’t tell if they were about to kiss or just finished.
She swiped one more time and her thumb stopped moving.
Dante was on one knee in front of Emma with the entire hall watching.
When she first saw this picture, her soul almost left her body. It was only after she checked the next picture where he was fixing her heels, she breathed a sigh of relief or something proper
"No, I should do something!" She clenched the phone as a sense of urgency hit her. "Today it was just him fixing her heels. Who knows what will happen next? At this rate, I won’t stand a chance against Emma."
She had to seduce Dante before those two got into a relationship. Once that happened, he might even refuse the training under the excuse of staying loyal to Emma and keep his distance from her.
"By then, no amount of regret will fix anything." She knew better than anyone that regret had no cure. ’I need to be more aggressive!’
But the troubled look on her face remained because she needed more opportunities.
"If I only try things during the lessons, I’ll always just be his master in his head." Natasha spoke with determination but her heart was pounding. "I need to make a move outside of that."

Inside the car, Dante had a smile on his face as he watched Natasha through the feed.
The key to conquering Natasha was constantly provoking her jealousy toward Emma and feeding her possessiveness over him. People who felt desperate and pressured would do anything to get what they wanted.
’And after tonight, that pressure is only going to get worse.’ He thought with a knowing look in his eyes.
The events of tonight would be all over the newspapers by tomorrow, spreading like wildfire.
And once Emma awakened her bloodline later tonight, Natasha would definitely ramp up her offense.
’Don’t worry, Master. I’ll give you plenty of chances.’ A gentle look appeared in his eyes as he watched the feed. ’I’ll make sure you know who my favorite is.’
