System Mission: Seduce the Final Boss [BL]
Chapter 193: Weird existence huh?The room was quiet except for the faint sound of breathing.
’Woah woah, it’s starting...’
His lips met Blake’s, cold and firm, pressing slowly. Myles’ cold lips made him shiver yet another time.
He didn’t rush. Myles’ tongue slid forward, icy and slick.
It pushed past Blake’s lips with a gentle force that quickly grew deeper, curling and stroking with such care that left no space untouched.
The cold saliva coated his tongue, his teeth, the roof of his mouth, spreading that sharp, tingling sensation everywhere it reached.
Of course, it was way different from what Blake imagined... it seemed as if he actually had experience.
Myles held his face in both hands, thumbs brushing his cheeks, while his tongue moved with slow, intense strokes, like he was trying to taste every part of Blake.
He then tilted his head, changing the angle, and pushed deeper again, his cold tongue sliding along his in long slides.
Saliva, chilled and thin, trailed from the corner of Blake’s mouth as he continued, never breaking the kiss for several minutes.
Still... it was starting to be too much!
’I can’t breathe too well like this!’
Myles pulled away, strings of saliva connecting them.
Blake was breathing heavily.
The kiss had been slow, almost painfully slow, and intense enough that, by the time they finally parted, Blake could feel his heartbeat everywhere!!
There had been something strange about tasting Myles, too. His saliva had a flavor Blake couldn’t quite place.
It wasn’t unpleasant just... unfamiliar. Nothing like anything he’d ever tasted before.
He looked up at Myles.
Myles looked completely calm.
No heavy breathing, no flushed cheeks... not even the faintest hint of embarrassment!
Blake stared at him.
’Am I seriously the only one flustered here?’
Neither of them said anything about it. They simply walked to Myles’ room, where they sat down on the edge of his bed.
"You taste like cold tea."
"I drank that like an hour ago."
Myles hummed.
Blake looked at him for a moment before shaking his head. "You’re way too good at this."
"At what?"
"Kissing."
Myles tilted his head.
"Weren’t we both supposed to be inexperienced?" Blake asked. "How are you that good at making out if you’ve never done it before?"
"I haven’t done it before."
Blake crossed his arms. "I know you haven’t."
"You were my first kiss."
Blake’s eyebrows rose.
"Then how?"
Myles raised an eyebrow slightly and glanced toward the side.
"I saw how it was done."
Blake’s expression slowly changed.
"What do you mean, you saw how it was done?"
"I had to do a lot of spying when I was younger."
Blake stared at him.
"You’re still young."
Myles continued, seemingly unaware of how strange that statement sounded.
"On more than one occasion, I found myself having to observe or move through situations involving sexual contexts."
Blake shivered.
"How old were you?"
Myles thought about it.
"Roughly six to thirteen."
Blake’s face scrunched up.
Six.
He had been a little kid.
"Did you always understand what you were looking at?"
"No. At first, I didn’t understand the context, so I simply looked at it."
Something in Blake’s chest tightened.
Without saying anything, he gently guided Myles down until Myles was lying with his head in Blake’s lap.
Myles didn’t resist. He simply looked up at him.
Blake began brushing his fingers through Myles’ hair.
Being that young and having to hear or see things like that... even if Myles’ brain processed information differently, it couldn’t have been good for him.
"Did you like kissing me?" Blake asked quietly. "Or did it feel like you were watching it from a distance again?"
Myles looked at him for several seconds.
"I want to do it again."
Blake laughed.
"Well, I liked it too. And you’re really good at it!" He smiled down at him. "You even stopped the moment I was out of breath. You were so gentle."
He leaned down and pressed a kiss to Myles’ forehead.
"I’m not as good as you, though. I’ll get better."
"I liked it."
Blake paused.
"There was no getting better."
Blake laughed again.
"You say things like that with such a straight face. You’re actually pretty funny, Myles."
Myles looked thoughtful for a moment.
"Did you see anything like that?"
"Me? Yeah. But in movies."
Myles hummed.
Blake poked his lips lightly.
"I still can’t believe your saliva is cold, too. How do you even deal with any of this at the hospital?"
"I don’t go to the hospital."
Blake tilted his head... ah, is that right?
"I usually get visit certificates through private clinics."
"Visit certificates?"
"They’re legitimate medical documents," Myles explained. "The clinics keep the records and issue the documentation after a supposed consultation."
Blake raised an eyebrow.
"Is that even legal? I mean you’re not even checked upon."
"There’s no law against seeking private medical care. If I pay for it, and there is proof on documents, it’s not an issue."
"Fair enough, then..."
Blake shrugged. With Myles’ altered DNA, going through a normal hospital would probably attract far more attention than either of them wanted.
More than attention, he would straight up be captured. After all, this was definitely a whole connected system.
"It would be pretty easy for them to notice you aren’t completely human."
Myles hummed.
Blake was quiet for a moment before another question occurred to him.
"How did Nar get those cats to cooperate with him, anyway? Did he control their brains?"
"No."
Myles looked toward the ceiling.
"He modified their DNA in various ways. It allowed him to identify beings like himself immediately. We can recognize one another with simple physical contact."
"So he doesn’t control them?"
"Not exactly, only a camera is integrated in its eyes. Beings like us tend to have an affinity with animals."
Blake’s eyes widened.
"So they’re naturally drawn to you?"
"Not precisely. It also depends on frequencies, which animals perceive much more readily than humans do. Personality matters, too. And the animal has its own preferences."
Myles paused.
"In either case, when I interact with an animal, it tends to remain calm."
Blake frowned slightly.
"Is Asher half-alien like you?"
"We have never touched, so I can’t be certain. But I can sense that there is something altered in him."
"He’s like you?"
"Not directly."
Myles’ gaze shifted toward Blake.
"He wasn’t born from a parent whose DNA had already been altered."
Blake hummed.
"Is that possible?"
"With his connection to AL-TECH, it’s difficult to imagine they would simply release him without safeguards. To have altered DNA, either a parent has to undergo the process, or the individual has to undergo it themselves."
Blake tilted his head.
"Maybe they found a way to make it painless, which didn’t make him resentful?"
"Impossible."
Myles’ voice was quiet.
"The altered material has to be incorporated into the body’s existing biological system. Blood and tissue cannot simply accept foreign genetic material without a process of integration."
"Yeah, well, now that I think about it... humans can even die if a different blood type is injected into them. It can’t be any less painful to have a whole different species’ blood..."
"Yeha. The immune system recognizes what doesn’t belong, and the body reacts. The treatment requires repeated intervention so the modified cells can be introduced and established without the entire system rejecting them."
Blake’s expression fell.
Myles continued.
"You saw it at AFE. Did those people look physically hurt, besides being afraid? Or did they look afraid of being hurt?"
Blake went still.
"That’s true, they were."
Myles looked thoughtful.
"I don’t know where Asher came from. But his brain chemistry appears to be almost entirely human. I can tell from the way he behaves, the way he responds to stimuli, even the pattern of his heartbeat."
He paused.
"He’s a peculiar existence."
"Definitely not fully human?"
"No."
Myles’ eyes narrowed slightly.
"But he doesn’t harbor resentment toward AL-TECH. And he only displays very specific traits associated with his altered side."
Blake hummed.
"Is there any way to get Asher to realize that AL-TECH is just a bunch of criminals?"
Myles looked at him.
His expression hadn’t changed much, but his gaze had.
It became suddenly intense.
Blake noticed immediately.
"Well..." He shifted slightly. "I just find it hard to interact with someone who idealizes Alfred Hitch."
Myles remained silent.
"I’m not saying I justify him," Blake continued. "Actually, I’ve been getting increasingly uncomfortable around Asher. And now that Anthony is involved too, knowing he has some kind of connection to all of this... I find myself a little disgusted by both of them."
He hesitated.
"Still... who knows how much they’ve been manipulated?"
"To me, it doesn’t matter, whether they remain in the dark or not."
"Yeah, I know as much. Do you really not see Asher as some kind of rival?"
Myles raised his eyebrows.
For a moment, he simply stared at Blake as though the question itself were absurd.
Then he reached up and gently caught the back of his head. Blake’s eyes widened as Myles pulled him down.
Their noses touched.
"Do you think that weakling is even comparable to me?"
Blake froze.
"No, no... I actually don’t know much about that, that’s why I asked."
Myles released him and leaned back against the bed.
"Trail-X has no experience."
Blake listened.
"He has a good brain when it comes to how he moves. His body responds efficiently, and he adapts quickly. But compared to me..."
Myles paused.
"He’s like a child."
"A child?"
"Yes."
Blake shook his head, grinning.
