“He did what?” Arthur looked at his son, Michael, in disbelief.

“It’s true, Father,” Michael replied in a helpless tone. “He finally did it.”

“That no-good grandson of mine!” Arthur had to stop himself from cussing out loud after hearing Michael’s report. “Prepare the car!”

“Yes, Father,” Michael replied to carry out his orders.

Several minutes later, they finally arrived at their destination.

A long line of people stood outside the gate, and Hans walked around to ensure no one would cut lines and cause trouble in the Leventis Family home.

Arthur then looked at the sign that hung on the main gate, which almost caused one of his blood vessels to pop.

The sign said, “Leventis Family Main Branch.”

Zion had finally done it.

He had actually declared his side of the family as the main branch of the Leventis Family!

To make matters worse, Arthur’s wife, Callista, and her personal butler, Hans, had hopped into Zion’s boat, infuriating him to no end!

He was so tempted to let out a roar to send everyone flying.

But the two golden Azothralls standing guard by the gate was enough for him to hold back the anger about to erupt from his chest.

“Where is that no-good grandson of mine, Hans?” Arthur asked with barely restrained anger.

“The Young Master is currently inside the house, dealing with important guests,” Hans replied. “Would you like to meet him, Sir Arthur?”

“Of course, I’d like to meet him,” Arthur smiled a smile that didn’t reach his eyes. “I want to meet him so badly.”

Hans held back a chuckle. He already expected this to happen, and so did Zion. The young man even instructed how he must handle this matter in case Arthur showed up, which he did.

Two more golden Azothralls arrived to escort Arthur to the third house, which Zion had constructed a good distance away from his family’s home.

In fact, there were now three houses that were built near each other in the mountain that belonged to their family. One of them was Zion’s original home, where his mother, father, and his siblings lived.

The second house was his current home, where he lived with his wives.

The third house was meant for business purposes, which was why it was built a good distance away from the two homes where his family lived.

This house was bigger, and was actually five-stories high.

It also had three underground floors, which could be used for evacuation purposes just in case the Outer Worlders suddenly attacked Pangea.

The moment Arthur entered the house, he was immediately greeted by a sight that made him hold back whatever he was going to say next.

Zion, as well as the important heads of the different families, were all gathered and were discussing important matters with each other.

They had all come to congratulate him for becoming the family head of the Main Branch of the Leventis Family.

The Monarchs, and even the Field and Grand Marshal of the Central Government, had also come after Thirteen had sent them an invitation.

“Everyone, please welcome the Branch Head of the Leventis Family,” Thirteen said as soon as Arthur entered the room. “Gramps is already old, so please excuse him if he says anything bad, or went into a hissy fit. Growing senile is very normal.”

Everyone in the room did their best to stifle their laughter. But, some didn’t bother.

Douglas Griffin, the Monarch of the Cygni Continent, laughed out loud. Clearly, he enjoyed the expression on Arthur’s face, which he hadn’t seen for a long time.

“You brat, just what do you think you’re doing?!” Arthur roared in anger. “What is this nonsense?!”

Thirteen blinked once then twice before tilting his head to the side.

“What nonsense are you talking about, Gramps?” Thirteen asked.

“You know what I’m talking about!” Arthur was no longer able to hold back and shouted at his no-good grandson, not minding one bit that there were many important people inside the living room. “Just who are you calling Branch Head of the Leventis Family?”

“Obviously, I’m calling you the branch head of the Leventis Family,” Thirteen answered in a casual tone. “Why are you getting angry? If you’re really upset, why don’t you also hang a sign in front of your gate and also label it as the residence of the Main Branch of the Leventis Family?”

Arthur’s face turned a shade redder after hearing the young man’s reply. He would never do such an embarrassing thing. If he really did that, people would look down on him!

“Gramps, it will be best if you get over it,” Thirteen said calmly. “What’s wrong with being part of the branch family? You can even retire and travel the world now. Maybe take grandma on a honeymoon. You don’t have to worry about the family business, it is all in good hands. Isn’t that right, Uncle?”

Thirteen looked at his uncle, Michael, who stood behind Arthur.

Truth be told, the young man had already tried to poach Michael a few days ago, telling him that this transition was already inevitable.

Michael understood this as well and reluctantly agreed to work for Zion.

His task was to handle the paperwork and the businesses of the Leventis Family, like he had already been doing as the successor of the family.

In short, nothing changed except for the fact that Thirteen would now be called the family head of the family instead of Arthur.

Although he didn’t want to admit it, Arthur had long expected this day to come.

His grandson was now someone who transcended humanity.

He even had a Goddess as his wife!

Compared to that, Arthur couldn’t really say or do anything to stop him from taking over the Leventis Family.

If Arthur wanted to take back this prestigious title from his no-good grandson, the only thing he could do was to take it using brute force.

But was that even possible?

Him? Beat up his no-good grandson?

It was a hopeless battle from the start, and Arthur had no chance of winning even if he summoned every member of the Leventis Family, as well as their special forces.

Thirteen was now the pillar of Pangea, and Solterra.

With a word from him, empires would fall, and Clans would disappear. That was the power, and influence he wielded.

Truth be told, the Monarchs and the Central Government felt incredibly lucky that the one who held this kind of power was Zion.

The young man wasn’t unreasonable, and he didn’t throw around his weight in order to oppress people.

Everyone was now living better lives, and the crime rate had drastically dropped.

There was even a project called Bi-Frost Bridge Travel Company, which would allow people to travel to different worlds.

Of course, this project was still under negotiation between Zion and his father-in-law. But knowing Thirteen, it was already a done deal.

“Gramps, it’s best that you enjoy life more,” Thirteen said calmly. “I’m not joking when I said that you should take grandma on a honeymoon trip. You might even get lucky and have a new son after a year, or two. So what is there to be mad about?”

Arthur took a long, and deep breath. Although what Thirteen said made sense, he was still unwilling to let it go.

At the very least, he wanted to fight for what he stood for many years.

Seeing his grandfather’s expression, Thirteen decided to give him a fair chance to keep his title as the Patriarch of the Leventis Family.

“Very well, Gramps,” Thirteen said calmly. “I will give you a chance. You can choose any method or a game that the two of us will play. The winner will be the Patriarch of the Leventis Family. We will settle this fair and square, so you can accept the result of our duel.”

“I accept!” Arthur didn’t hesitate to jump on the deal that Thirteen offered.

“Sure, I’ll give you two weeks to think of a challenge we can compete in,” Thirteen stated. “You can add rules and conditions that are advantageous for you if you like. I don’t really mind.”

Now that the young man had thrown the ball in Arthur’s court, it was up to the former patriarch of the Leventis Family to come up with a plan.

A plan that would make him retain his position, and prevent his no-good grandson from calling him the Branch Head of the Leventis Family!
